On time with appointments, thorough physician. The office staff are friendly and helpful

I absolutely love the Salem campus of Revere Health. I'm new to the area and if I could give it a 10* rating I would. It's a medical one stop shop for all your medical needs from Drs to labs, any kind of imaging I needed, any specialty doctors, urgent care you name it they probably have it. I needed an internal medicine specialist and Dr. Troy Lunceford fits the bill. He's so kind, patient, listens, cares, soft spoken, explains everything, doesn't treat you like your stupid or one of the "next piece of what ever" to run through the practice fast pace. I know with Dr. Lunceford that all my concerns and needs will be met because I can feel he cares about my health. I hated to leave my past PCP in northern Utah but I am not worried now that I have found Revere Health and Dr. Lunceford. His MA is the best one and extremely thoughtful. At my age I needed a medical facility just like this and you won't be sorry if you use them. Great for all ages, with all doctors to cover all needs.

I actually saw the PA. Dr. Lunceford came in at the end. I felt taken care of! They addressed all my issues that they could. They were kind and not judgy. Which I appreciated. I'd definitely recommend them to others!!

It's been a very long time since a doctor told me. Good job. Dr. Lunsford is approachable, personable efficient and I really liked him. I would recommend him to anyone.

Had to visit with Dr. Lunceford for a Sciatica problem. I always find him to be very attentive to me. He prescribed good medication and I am feeling a lot better. Didn't have to wait long to see him. Would recommend him if you need a primary care physician.

Dr Lunceford is compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed and he appears to be the type of Physician that looks for root causes prior to diagnosis. He's not just handing out prescriptions to treat symptoms, masking problems or " hoping" the prescription works. He reminds me of a few old school Docs that again, take a deeper dive into the source of the illness. This was my initial visit and if this is an example of the medical care provided at Revere Health, I'll always be a Revere Health / Dr Lunceford Patient. Highly recommend this Physician and his Team. Dr. Lunceford is very kind and understanding. He patiently listens while I explain my problems and he does his best to help me while accommodating my wishes as well as his knowledge.

Dr Lunceford’s manner was down to earth. He listened well. Seems to be very knowledgeable especially on medications. Very good Doctor!

I was very happy about my visit, the Dr took the time to lessen and give me advice.

Dr. Lunceford cared for both of my in-laws. He lacks the skill set for a competent and compassionate geriatrician. He may be wonderful with a different age group. He insists on personal visits even when the patient is semi-conscious. He does not listen. His characterizations of conversations and medical visits are flawed. He is unwilling to support a patients wishes for end of life care, believing that everyone should be on hospice. I have worked with many physicians in the Revere Health system. The best ones left when CUMC became Revere Health. There was a shift away from patient care to making every minute profitable. There are still a few good physicians but you can sense the pressure on them to turn a profit. Dr. Luncefords staff work hard to serve the patients but they can only do so much. Dr. Lunceford is slow to respond to patient questions. He does not follow up with the patient. He undoes treatment plans established by other physicians but makes no effort to see how the changes impacted his patient. He does the bare minimum or a little less. I expect more. I expect better. His actions added to the stress of a dying loved one. I had simple questions for him regarding her care. They were ignored and I was characterized as being obstinate because I did not accept that hospice was the only treatment for her. Thankfully, she passed early this morning at home, surrounded by love and loved ones. We did not need strangers in our home and she did not want strangers taking care of her. I completely support hospice if the patient and family request it. They provide great services for those who cannot do it themselves. That was not our circumstance and Dr. Lunceford could not or would not wrap his head around that. He did not know how to support us during this time. I am elated that this is now behind us. I will not need to have any more interactions with Dr. Lunceford. I wish him nothing but the best. I hope that something I say will help him become a better doctor. I just love my doctor Troy Lunsford. He is on the ball and dose a great job.

Doctor Lunceford is a great doctor. He is very personable, professional and he listens!

Dr. Lunceford is not skilled in geriatric care. He does not listen well or read the emails sent to him through the patient portal. He wanted me to bring my semi-conscious 85 year old Mother-in-law into the office for evaluation. He is unwilling or unable to provide services in a timely fashion. He does not support a patients right to die at home surrounded by family instead of strangers. He prefers to pass everything on to hospice. He discontinues medications without fully understanding the impact on the patient. He does not follow up with the patient. If you disagree with his approach or criticize his actions you are deemed obstinate or stupid. His characterization of interactions with patients and their families are flawed and hurtful. He has one way of doing things and refuses to consider that there may be other ways to achieve patient goals. His close-mindedness adds a layer of stress and frustration to an already difficult situation. He is not the doctor you want for your aging loved ones.

We did not have to wait very long before being taken into the room. The assistant asked questions and we visited as I answered them as well as I could!! When the Doctor came in the assistant answered the Doctor ‘s questions!! He asked me questions that he asked me then said he wanted me to take a bone density test, so I made an appointment for that on the 8th of this month. I went downstairs and signed me up for that. I would not recommend Lunceford or this whole place to anyone. My Healthy working mother came in with a broken femur and came out with stage 4 renal failure. They could have given her an IV or referred her to a real hospital since she was complaining about both her calfs hurting. Dr. Lunceford is a very caring doctor and after trying other doctors in the area, I’m very satisfied with his knowledge, care and concern for me regarding my medical needs. He is easy to talk to and understands me And gives me all the time I need. He never rushes me.

The medical assistants here will get back to you and fix things, get your messages to the doctor relatively fast if they like you. If they don’t, good luck. They’ll have you wait days or you’ll have to keep calling.

Doctor Lunceford is amazing! He truly cares about his patients. He doesn't rush through the appointment, he takes his time to listen to your concerns and takes time to give treatment options.

My mother broke her femur and was put under his care. Which she did not receive. Oxy is not proper care. She was throwing up and not eating. We asked over and over again what can be done and they said they would talk to the doctor. She was given no IV which she needed. She ended up with stage 4 renal failure when we were finally able to get her out. And died 2 months later

The wait was short. Dr. Lunceford is friendly and efficient. All questions were answered.
