Courtney at the front desk is so rude and unprofessional!

Worst experience I've EVER had. My only wish is that I could report her to the medical board.

I love me some Dr Burruss!! She listens and addresses my concerns! The staff for there most part are helpful! I have been coming here for years!!!

Receptionist was rude and didn't even try to work things out with my insurance. I even called my insurance right there and she wanted nothing to do with it. I would never go back there again.

Dr. Burruss is nice however it takes so long to be seen. Whenever I schedule an appointment it takes them over an hour to call and just to have me wait for another 40 minutes. The office does not respect your time. Also I got a cancer gene test done and some how the office lost my results. When I asked about it they said they emailed the guy however I never received the results and it’s been over 2 years.

Dr.Burruss is the worst doctors office ever.I do not recommend anyone to be a patient at her office,and if you are... be prepared to be there all day!she also does not takes her patients concerns seriously.

They need time management training it’s no way I’m waiting on lab readings for over an hour it’s freezing in here they won’t turn the heat on to make the patient feel more comfortable black people we need to do better great doctor but they have no consideration for time at all why am I here all day just to get test results ?

I've been coming here for a long time now and Dr. Burris is nice and always takes care of me but the receptionist is very very rude. So rude that I don't even want to do business with this office anymore. The wait time is outstandingly ridiculous. You wait at least 3 hours before being seen

This Dr office is the worst, Mrs.Angela Long was the best thing they had, she new the front office was terrible, that’s why she gave her email so you can bypass the BS, they’ll give you an appointment and then cancel it, I had an appointment for a follow up set for Sept, the call and told me it was canceled and the next available appointment was in December...I couldn’t believe it, then I had a foot problem and made an emergency visit On a Friday, The new nurse practitioner gave me A prescription and a referral to podiatrist, however I went to get the medicine from my pharmacy and was told I didn’t have one there. I called the dr office and found out the they put a hold on my prescription until the doctor overlooked it. Why I don’t know, I wasn’t even notified that it had been stopped, seems as if they knew it was going to be filled they could’ve informed me. Been coming to this office for years. Although, Dr. Burrus is a nice dr, this is the slowest office I have ever been in. I've waited up to an hour and a half to be put in a room just to have to wait another 2 hours before even seeing the Dr. I've literally fell asleep, took a whole nap, woke up, and was still waiting. The staff is always sweet aswell, but have noticed new peopleall the time. The walls are super thin, so you can hear all the business while they should be working. First let say I believe in supporting all African Americans businesses. Dr. Burruss provides excellent service. But the major issue that will and is destroying her business is her front office staff. There is NOOOOO consistency in the office .The turn over rate of staff is ridiculous. Any thing you need from them is NEVER given to you in a timely manner or at all. I tried to reach the doctor for two weeks and nothing. I had to restate my issue everytime I called because the turn around is out of control. Please Please don't stress yourself out by going to see this doctor. As I sit in the room with thin walls, you can hear the unprofessionalism being discussed amongst the doctor and assistant about how we as patients should know why the wait is long. Umm first of all, stop gossiping and go in the room to your patient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Angie Long ordered lab work and was very thorough and explained everything to me. Highly recommend this practice! When I arrived, Kofi, checked me in and made sure that I was seen in a timely manner.

After my visit with Dr. Burruss my health turned around in a matter of days. She was very professional. Ordered my blood work and immediately identified my problems. That's good practice. Staff was very nice. Excellent location. As a Sheriff's & Senate Chaplain I highly recommend Elite Family Practice.

had to reschedule, needed refills for 3 weeks before I could get in to see Dr. requested to call in my heart meds and diabetes med 4 times. yes I asked 4 days to get my meds. Was told because I rescheduled. well I guess I deserve a death sentence for that. I'll find a doctor who prescribes and actually wants you to survive. If you have a serious condition, never reschedule. good luck.

Overall not great! Dr. B is good but it's hard for her to take time with her patients because they are always SO behind. I have waited for over 3 hrs to see the Dr many times. The office staff is rude, not helpful at all, never can get an appt with in a day or two. Will not try to work someone in if they truly need to see a Dr. The office staff is always changing. Seems to be a lot of turnover with staff. Makes me wonder why. Is it the Dr. or is just hiring people that are not interested in actually having a job and doing their job or are they there just for a paycheck and that is all. The NP that was there was awesome but now she is gone! I will be finding a new Dr due to the issues with the staff and how they treat patients.

Used this office 19 years . Very satisfied with dr & nurse practitioner. Staff can be excellent and not so great. Many seem to be students in wrong field of learning but we all started at one time

My first appointment was for a medication refill, upon arrival I thought I was prepared for about a 30 min wait, tops. After almost an hour and a half with no interaction from staff, I notified them of my extremely long wait. The two up front appeared to be surprised as they explained that they had forgotten about me and clearly over looked me. After my visit I was told that my medications would be sent to my pharmacy. I have been waiting well over a week for my medicine, each time I call it is some sort of excuse as to why they can’t fill. She was the best!.She was thorough and caring and concerned. No long waiting and the entire staff was very friendly. They deserve more than five stars.

Dr Burruss is always friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is very accommodating and they will work you in somewhere if you need to be seen. You might wait awhile past your appointment time but you will never feel rushed and all your concerns will be addressed.

I find when you have new patients as a doctor you should have better bedside manners than not introduce yourself to new patients. You should always come and meet new patients. Over booking and making patients wait in rooms over 30 minutes is very disrespectful. The staff is very friendly that's the only good part of the visit. I have never heard of the doctor office mandatory scheduling a office visit just for lab tests results before the lab work comes back with a doctor who can't bother to introduce herself. Horrible service!! Walked in to be seen thinking they would take me as a walk-in and to my surprise, the secretary/admin looked and me in disgust without speaking. Since she wasn't going to greet me, I asked if they took walk-ins and she said no very abruptly. She asked what type of insurance I had --still no type of greeting---no professionalism at all. I told her how she made me feel and she said "well". I nicely walked out. Professional practices such as these should be very careful when hiring individuals as the first point of contact. Rude, condescending, and habitually, extremely late with NO apology, nor explanation. The staff is nice, but they are always changing, and the exam rooms are not nearly as clean as they should be for a doctor's office.

I have been going to Dr. Burruss for 13 years now. Small practice, very nice staff. I like the fact that she is the only doctor there. I don't have to worry about which doctor is going to see me. She takes the time to listen and is a great doctor. I highly recommend!
