Dr. Valerie Williams

Dr. Williams installed a Lynx device to address debilitating heartburn. One year post-op and I haven’t had a touch of heartburn since the morning of surgery. Dr. Williams is brilliant, the leader in her field.

On June 16, 2021 Dr. Williams done a endoscopy procedure on me. Dr. Williams was Great. I was still very sedated after the procedure so Dr. Williams explained everything to my wife. But still my wife asked the doctor if she would talk with me on the phone. Dr. Williams said yes. I emailed Kelly Koop 3 times since my endoscopy and requested for Dr. Williams to call me and to please send me my endoscopy and biopsies reports. Since June 16, I have not received one reply back from Kelly Koop. Today June 30, I called the office and talked with an Melissa and she told me that she would email my reports to me. I still have not received anything. I worked in the medical field for over 17 years and I have never treated a patient like this. I feel Dr. Williams medical staff are very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Today I called OSU Medical Center about my referral and to make a appointment. OSU stated they received my reports but they received no demographics sheet with my contact information. So there was no way to call me. I received excellent care from St. Elizabeth hospital staff. My wife’s Gastroenterologist referred her to Dr. Williams for a surgical consult. We were advised Dr. Williams’ office would call to schedule an appointment. After about two weeks we had not heard from Dr. Williams so we called our referring Dr’s office and learned they would try again. They did and nothing happened. Apparently they tried one more time after that with no results so they advised that we should call Dr. Williams’ office instead of waiting for a callback. We called Monday 6/28/21 and the lady said they have the referral and normally do them on Fridays but she would give the Nurse a heads up. It is after 6pm on Friday 7/2/21 and we have heard nothing. We have never had this type of problem with any other medical office we have used. This is an FYI for people to consider.

After years of GERD and reflux suffering, I found Dr. Williams and the Linx device. She did testing and did surgery of hiatal hernia repair and implanted Linx. I’m 2 weeks post op and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Williams has given me my life back. I could never thank her enough.

After my own doctor wouldn't do anything to help me get off my PPIs I did research, which led me to Dr. Williams. She did all the tests to determine the best outcome for me which was a partial fundoplication. She told me best case would be I need to take a daily zantac and might not be able to eat some foods. Best case, in fact is, I can eat anything I want and I hardly take zantac. She gave me my life back and I can't thank her enough.

I made the biggest mistake of my life by choosing Dr Buckley to do my first lung cancer surgery. I was lucky Dr Williams took me as her patient and saved my life by taking care of the horrible mess I was left in by Mercy and Dr Buckley. She saved my life and I am only here because of her skilled hands
