Dr. Vera Elizabeth Brown

Dr. Brown has been seeing both of my children since birth. She is quiet and takes her time. My kids don’t respond as well to loud/high energy strangers and we appreciate that she doesn’t overwhelm them. She always orders every test needed to find answers and listens attentively to questions and concern.

The wait time is too long. Takes atleast 45 minutes from your scheduled appt time to even be seen by the doctor. Doctor is nice but very quiet. Hard to hear. Not as forward with my teen as I would like.

My husband used to have Dr. Brown as a pediatrician until her turned 21, and now our son has her as a pediatrician! She’s very sweet and soft spoken, but she’s attentive and listens to any concerns I have. She doesn’t rush our visits.

I have a 15 month old and have been seeing Dr Brown since she was born. Dr Brown is soft spoken and very kind. My daughter loves her. What I like about her is that she takes her time and really listens to my concerns. I would highly recommend her.

She was awful. She barely laid a finger on my child. What an awful representation for Johns Hopkins. Disappointed!!!!

Dr. Brown's office accepted an appointment in December of 2015 without letting us know that she was dropping our insurance carrier by the time of the appointment in January of 2016. As a result, we received a $275 bill for a 10-minute out-of-network visit. We pay over $1000 per month in family health insurance premiums to keep our out of pocket to a minimum and see doctors that are close to our home. The lack of communication after being established patients for 3 years is unacceptable.
