Any doctor who refuses to care for a newborn because their parents are gay has no business in the medical profession. There’s no room for intolerance in healthcare.

Incredibly caring and wonderful doctor. An expert in her field and exceptionally knowledgeable. All 3 kids look forward to seeing her. Always has great advice and keeps up with the most current practices. We drive 35 minutes to get to her.

Amazing doctor, extremely professional and compassionate.

They always see us quickly, no waiting around to get in a room and get seen. Very nice bedside manner, and haven’t had any complaints about our care here.

Dr. Roi is a very good doctor. I appreciate that is she knowledgeable and caring. These one star reviews are not based on her professional skills. I completely trust my kids in her care.

Dr. Roi is a great pediatrician. Her and her office had provided great care of our daughter now for almost 2 years. I'd highly recommend her.

Dr. Roi is a fantastic doctor and the negative reviews have nothing to do with how she cares for her patients. She has been a blessing to our family! Keep up the great work!

I cannot imagine parenting without Dr. Roi in our lives! Between misinformation, cultural norms, and corruption in the government and health care systems, it is rare to find a health care worker with a good head on their shoulders. But we have been lucky enough to find this in Dr. Roi. She understands food as medicine while honoring modern medicine when necessary. She is rooted in wisdom and integrity outside of herself and this is more than clear in the peaceful and joyful presence she carries into each interaction. Dr. Roi is fantastic! Such a holistic and complete approach to caring for our baby. We would recommend her to anyone! So much love and kindness that goes above and beyond most doctor experiences I've ever seen!

Dr. Roi is simply amazing. She is patient, passionate and knowledgeable. Our children love her and so do we. She genuinely cares deeply about her patients and is passionate about their whole health. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have worked with 100’s of doctors for 17 years. BY FAR, Dr. Roi is the most genuine and caring doctor I have ever met. My children absolutely adore her and so do I! You can tell how happy she is to be at work and see all of us each time we visit. No added agenda of anything that my children don’t “need” like so many other pediatricians/physicians who are jeopardizing yours and your child’s health to benefit their pay check! She is stunning and an absolute delight. For all those saying she’s discriminating or not holding up her oath.. she’s not in emergency medicine so she absolutely has every right to deny care to anyone. I cannot believe how many are defending her "right" to discriminate against others. She is a medical professional, one who cares for CHILDREN, who openly discriminates with regards to medical care based on her ignorant and bigoted views. Draping it under "religion" does not somehow dignify it, any more than someone who discriminates against women, etc, should be allowed to do so based on their religious beliefs. Frankly, this should be illegal. Unfortunately, we are still in a time where this is allowed at the individual state level. Ultimately, like all social justice matters, it will change and Dr Roi will be remembered on the wrong side of history. She is very thorough and respectful. She takes the time to listen to any concerns and develops a relationship with not just her patients but the parents also.

Dr. Roi really puts her patients at ease. She takes her time and is really good with children. We are glad we were referred to her and she sees all of our kids.

All the negative reviews are by people who have never been to Dr. Roi. Anyone who goes to her knows she is an outstanding doctor. If she has different views so be it. We need to be more tolerant of all people who have different views on topics.

I have to say that I am rather shocked to see these negative reviews. I was refereed to Dr. Roi from a chiropractor who also takes her children there. I first took my son to Dr. Roi to get referrals for my son who has a stroke while I was pregnant. Dr. Roi spent well over an hour with me and gave me referrals for 3 different doctors to take my son to for his condition and all of the doctors have been amazing. My favorite thing about Dr. Roi is that she is NEVER quick to give my kids prescription medicine unless absolutely necessary. I have to say that I am rather shocked to see these negative reviews. Dr. Roi is an amazing pediatrician. My daughter had been having migraine headaches for approx. 5 years. I was in a system of medicine that was just treating the symptoms, instead of trying to get to the root cause of the headaches. I switched to Dr. Roi to get some answers. She worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of what was going on. She truly showed deep care and compassion. My daughter’s headaches have mostly resolved and we now know the trigger. Thanks Dr. Roi!! This physician clearly exemplifies not understanding the tenets of the Hippocratic oath and the spirit of what it means to be a physician. To turn down a sick child on the basis of spurious and political beliefs is not what medicine is about. Shame on this physician.

Selectively applying your religion to deny medical treatment to a child is reprehensible. Do you deny treatment to parents that eat shellfish? Or babies that are born out it’ll wedlock? Or to divorced women? You need to pray for your soul because there is a special place in hell for people like you.

How this woman still has her medical license is beyond me. She only treats children whose parents have the same religious beliefs she does. Hopefully she's not in charge if there's a life threatening emergency and the child's parents aren't "eligible" in her view.

Dr. Roi's behavior in turning away a newborn baby was shocking. Where in anyone's religion does it say to reject children if you disapprove of their parents? Why does she think she would not have been able to work with the parents - does she seriously think they don't have their child's best interests at heart? If she does seriously think they don't have their child's best interests at heart, that's all the more reason to treat the child to see if her suspicions are warranted so, if so, she can call child protection services. And why didn't she tell the parents before the appointment that she'd changed her mind about being the child's doctor? What kind of physician schedules an appointment, but then fails to get the patient's contact info? This was very unprofessional all the way around. And she has yet to see what she did wrong! I really think this type of discrimination should be addressed before someone is admitted into medical school. I could not sit in silence in the face of John Fung's recent review. Mr. Fung wrote, "This is not a physician that upholds either the AMA Code of Medical Ethics: "Physicians who participate in advocacy activities should ensure that the health of patients is not jeopardized and that patient care is not compromised," or the Osteopathic Code: "I do hereby affirm my loyalty to the profession I am about to enter. I will be mindful always of my great responsibility to preserve the health and the life of my patients, to retain their confidence and respect both as a physician and a friend who will guard their secrets with scrupulous honor and fidelity, to perform faithfully my professional duties" So where did she violate this code Mr. Fung? Did she not take care of the patients by referring them to a different doctor? Nowhere does the quote you provided state that Dr. Roi must give up her religious freedoms in order to practice medicine. The child was not in any harm or danger. She has taken excellent care of our children. Dr. Roi is extremely thorough. I have never had a doctor take so much time and follow up as much as she does.

Dr Roi is the best pediatrician one could ask for. She cares so much, is very thorough and so wise. She is careful to not overmedicate, but uses medicines when necessary. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

We absolutely love Dr. Roi!! She is extremely gentle, kind, she listens before speaking, and knowledgeable! We would totally recommend her to anyone looking to go with holistic and natural health care.

Dr Roi is one of the few peds I've run into who will treat children with something besides rote drug and vaccine pushing. A lot of these horrible reviews are not even clients of this doctor, it's a shame they dont put other doctors on blast for refusing care to babies whose parents dont follow cdc vaccine schedule! Been seeing Dr .Roi since 2005 for both my kids She is amazing and well worth waiting for. She takes her time with you and never have I felt rushed. She values my opinion as a mother and is never quick to medicate .The staff is great and will do their best to help you over the phone to avoid an unnecessary visit.

Dr. Roi is amazing! She actually cares about her patients, and answers all of our many questions since we are new parents. My three children have been patients of Dr. Roi's for six years. She genuinely cares about our family. You sometimes wait, but that is because she takes as much time as she needs to in each room, truly talking to and caring for her patients. You always get in the same day if your children are sick.

Dr. Roi has the legal right to go with her conscience on whom she serves. One of the great freedoms and protections of our country is that people aren't to be forced to go against their deeply held beliefs at the whims of whatever our society currently thinks is good or bad.
