Dr. Vicki Lakwanda Carr

Took my little son for the first time in 2022, spend 15 minutes with Dr. Carr, immediately prescribed us on monthly shots for eczema. Today is March 2023 still waiting for the shots prescription to actually get to his arm. MY kid has severe eczema, lot of suffering and Dr. Carr's staff is completing paper work since last year 2022. Staff also lost the insurance letter and asked me to obtain it and personally deliver to them in order to expedite the process. I did as told and the so called 'expedited process' is still somewhere ongoing, hopefully will complete by 2024 (fingers crossed). Five item information is all that was required by the Dupixent shot company, but the broken work system of Spring Dermatology clinic and poor supervisory efficiency of Dr. Carr failed to provide. Total waste of my copay and time. I'm surprised how patients going to that service survive under such poor care umbrella. Poor overall staff and doctor efficiency, productivity and outcome. Beware...

Unfortunate experience. We scheduled 2 appointments with Dr. Carr. Both of the appointments were over 2 months out because of her availability. We received a text message a month later stating that we were to see the nurse practitioner and not Dr. Carr. We were new patients and wishing to see Dr. Carr. We called the office and were told that the Dr. is not available on the date of our scheduled appointments. We cancelled the appointments. If you want to see Dr. Carr she may not be available even though you ask to see her and wait for months to do so. Unfortunate experience. We scheduled 2 appointments with Dr. Carr. Vicki Carr and everyone that I’ve seen there has been wonderful!!!

Dr Carr is amazing, professional and knowledgeable. I love going here. I would recommend this practice for anyone who seeks information on dermatology treatment. Just truly a top notch practice.

I love this practice. I've been seeing Dr Carr for several years. She is friendly, warm, patient, professional, efficient, and she and the staff answer all questions clearly and provide all necessary information. My family has a history of skin cancer and I've had countless moles biopsied and removed so I needed a doctor who would be vigilant in checking me for irregularities and she is. The entire practice (including all staff) is women, I believe. As a female I think that's great. They run a tight ship but it also seems warm and nurturing...a place dedicated to your care. Great. But she uses a lot of bleach to clean the exam rooms. It’s an overwhelming smell.

I love Dr. Carr's office. I recently had to use another NP and was extremely satisfied of the routine skin check. I thought she did an amazingly thorough job and explained everything along the way. I'm impressed with the way they have handled Covid environment. I felt very safe and protected coming here.

I just called to schedule an appointment and the recepcionist hung up on me...I do not have anything to say about the doctor, but definitely the customer service is terrible.

Great care and effective treatment

My son, my dad and I have visited her in the past. Today, I called to set up an appointment and the receptionist told me that if I haven't seen Dr. Carr within the last 3 years I would be considered a new patient and she was not accepting new patients and then she just hung up on me! Basically the review is for this person who didn't even give options and was super rude. I hope Dr. Carr sees this review and does something about it.

Dr. Car is hands down amazing doctor . I love her and her staff is very nice and polite .??

Poor people skills the entire staff not friendly,I went to the doc office 3 hours ago prescription still haven't been sent.Only one that was great I don't remember her name but she takes the payments and wears a nose ring.She's great!

Awesome personnel, Dr Carr very engaged.

She is a thorough and caring physician. I have seen her for seven years and never have a bad experience.

Dr. Carr is very professional. Has a pleasant, kind personality and is very detailed in her explanation for further treatment.

Nobody answers the phone. The machine is what you get.

I've had the pleasure of going to Doctor Carr's office on and off for many years. Her and her staff have always been professional, friendly and easy to deal with. I highly recommend her office.

Dr. Carr saw my 14 year old daughter for a mole biopsy earlier this spring. My daughter was very nervous and Dr. Carr was patient and kind while getting the biopsy done quickly and accurately. I read someone else's review that she had terrible customer service and no people skills. I cannot even imagine a scenario where that could be true. This was my first visit visit with dr. Carr since my health insurance changed . They took me I. Within 5 minutes and dr. Carr saw me shortly after I was in the room. It was a five star visit with a five star doctor.

I made an appt and then read the negative reviews...needless to say, I was a bit skeptical. I was so incredibly, pleasantly surprised by the entire staff at this Spring location! Dr Carr is an absolute doll! I was treated promptly and professionally and couldn't be happier about the entire experience. I had a few spots for her to check out. She immediately confirmed what they were except for one. She removed some of it and it is being biopsied this week. I have already referred my son to her! My next visit will be at her Woodlands location.
