Vishal Datta

Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Datta 14 october 2020. Office was very clean. Staff were friendly and thorough with my medical history. Wait time was nill. I was very impressed. He took the time to address my issues and explain my course of treatment. His doctor-patient manor was very informative. His photo says it all. That was one of the reasons I picked him. His smile was that way when he came thru the door to welcome me as a new patient. Put me at ease. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Datta told me to add four units of insulin to compensate for taking Prednisone for two weeks. My blood sugars went up to high 300’s . Four units did nothing to help bring down my sugars. I took 64 units for breakfast ate nothing for hours at lunch time my blood sugars were still at 190 . Does he not know the effects of insulin or is he a poor doctor. I’m looking for a endocrinologist that I can trust. One that is better educated. Twice I ran out of insulin.

I have been seeing Dr. Datta for a number of years and I am thoroughly and completely satisfied with the level and quality of care I have been receiving. He is willing to listen, is committed to understanding me, and assisting me in exploring my concerns and questions. He and his staff are outstanding in their interest for and caring about their patients.
