Saw Dr b last month and was told I needed surgery. Told I'd be scheduled for April 28 and that they'd be in touch with me on the following Monday. Gave me info about another surgeon I'd have to go to to prepare for the surgery. I have never heard back from his office. I've placed numerous calls and gone by Fred Ortho twice. The receptionist was rude to me and unhelpful. Said that I had to wait for other patients to "make up their minds what they wanted to do." Talked to one of Dr B's people. Still haven't gotten a phone call letting me know status of Surgery. I'm in constant, severe pain and I need surgery for some relief. I feel like I've been forgotten by this Drs staff. I had the worst sciatica ever. I could not brush my teeth while standing in front of the sink without having to stop and run to the fridge to grab some ice and try and find some angle which the pain would subside. I had lower back decompression surgery a couple of weeks ago. I cannot believe the pain is gone. So far it is like a miracle. Thank you Dr. Baqaie. I had the worst sciatica ever. My daughter and I were very uncomfortable with him. It isn’t that we don’t think he knows his area of expertise, it was just he didn’t seem to be able to articulate the situation in an effective manner to us. His body language wasn't one of care and one of I need to get to the next patient or come back to me if you need surgery. We are just saying we came out of there with questions that still needed to be addressed. My daughter knows we pay for the service and we don’t expect him to stay for a long period with us. However, we should be able to address her questions with her back pain that has her concerned. He may be a great for other patients as well as an incredible surgeon, but for my daughter with back pain, the appointment was disappointing and that is what bothered me.

WAHID BAQAIE IS A SUPERB ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON. HE OPERATED ON MY SCIATIC CONDITION IN 2007 (?), WE BECAME FRIENDS AND HAVE KEPT IN TOUCH. THIS WEEK, BY EMAIL, HE HELPED ME UNDERSTAND AND TREAT LEG PAIN - WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE COME FROM INFECTION IN A BAD TOOTH. I COULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM MORE HIGHLY - AND PLAQUES IN HIS OFFICE DOCUMENT THE HIGH RATINGS HE HAS RECEIVED.

This man is currently at Fredericksburg Orthopaedic Associates. I have had good experiences with PT and surgery from other physicians there. My mother has also been treated successfully by other physicians there. Unfortunately, this man was rude and condescending to my mother and completely unprofessional. She went to him because his own practice stated that he was the one she should see, but he acted she was a complete imbecile for coming to him. There is no excuse for this man's behavior.

I have been a patient for 4 yrs.. I haven’t had any issues or problems. Dr Baqaie is always professional but kind and pleasant. He takes time to listen and answer questions. I believe he has a passion for his work and helping his patients. Trust is a must for me and I trust Dr Baqaie..

Dr. Baqaie is very attentive to his patients. He has even called me at home in the evening to check on how I am doing and to keep me informed of insurance issues. He is very open and willing to answer all questions about your condition.
