Walter Benjamin Kunz

You will not find a better doctor anywhere! He is my favorite of all doctors, still. He is always concerned about your best welfare and is very conscientious in his treatment of his patients. He is also forward looking as to what are new developments coming for your particular issue. Everyone I know loves him. My one regret is that I had to move out of state and he still called me to follow up. I wanted to pack him up and take him with me!

Excellent attention to all my needs. Good and caring manner and answered all my questions. Made it easy to understand and called later in day of my surgery to check on me. I could not have been more pleased with Doctor Kunz or his staff.

He not only is kind but very clear on my eye problems and the choices I have to fix them.

I found Dr. Kunz to be very professional but friendly, his explanations were clear, he did not waste my time, and he was flexible on slipping me in. My partial cornea transplant worked perfectly. I am looking forward to having him do the same procedure on my other eye when work allows. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I recommend Dr. Kunz often. My visits are always timely, safe, organized, considerate and informative.

I would like to say that I think Dr. Kunz is "Top Shelf" -- He is very personable and professional and very thorough! I have been a patient of Dr. Kunz for the last 5 years. I am impressed by his skill, knowledge, and demeanor, and by the efficiency and courtesy of his medical assistants.

My first visit, was throughout checking my glacoma condition. He got information from my previous Dr. Ma in Kaiser in Clackamas County. My 2nd visit was excellent.

Awesome! Dr. Kunz removed my right eye cataract in March and my left eye cataract today. Excellent results. He is professional, kind and takes time to make sure my questions are answered. Consulted with Dr Kunz on first cataract surgery. Was well informed of the procedure and took his time to listen. Surgery went well. Received a call personally from Dr. Kunz the evening of surgery to be sure there wasn't any issues. How many doctors follow-up themselves? Would highly recommend Dr. Kunz.

Ben Kunz is a great doc. Glad to know he’s taking care of my vision needs. I started seeing him after surgery for.a detached retina when I was pretty worried about finding an ophthalmologist who I could trust to surgically remove the second cataract. His competent, highly skilled and friendly approach put my concerns to rest.

Dr. Kunz is incredibly kind and has a great bedside manner. He explained things in terms that I can understand, which can be overwhelming with all of the technical terms. I understand the risks associated with my surgery and I feel like he empowered me to make the decision on my own. The staff was really nice, and it was quick and easy to schedule my surgery.

Please replace previous review this week with this: Dr. Kunz is very present with his patients. He takes time to listen and answered all my quirky questions, even calling the evening after cataract surgery to check on me. He wanted me to have his cell number. The office and surgery staff are also very caring. He brings a high level of training and experience, and I recommend him. I’m seeing 20/20!

My experience with Dr. Kunz was 100% positive. I met him a year ago when my scratched cornea needed treatment beyond what Urgent Care could provide.He mentioned that I was developing significant cataracts echoing what my long term prescribing OD has mentioned.When I checked with him about Dr Kunz for performing my cataract surgeries he gave Dr Kunz an unqualified endorsement so I planned for and just underwent the two procedures.I can only echo what several others have said--great experience!

Dr. Kunz and his staff were professional, informative and caring. They were prompt when I came for appointments and, when once there was a delay, they frequently checked in to update me. Dr. Kunz called the night of the surgeries, which surprised me, to ask about my comfort. I am always asking questions, and in this office, the answers were complete and informative. Instructions were given in both oral and written form, so no misunderstandings could develop.

It was determined I needed cataract surgery. Dr. Kunz was my surgeon. All went exceptionally well and now for the first time in my life I have 20/20 vision. All the personnel I have dealt with from the front desk to the medical assistants have always been helpful and courteous. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr. Kunz and Oregon Eye Consultants.

Dr. Kunz is an excellent doctor! He really takes the time to listen to you. I really appreciate his bedside manner and he found what was wrong with my eyes that other doctors missed. I'd recommend him and his practice to anyone!

Dr. Kunz performed surgery on my eyes in April and May 2017, replacing both lenes with IOL. His only statement before surgery was that I may not need to wear glasses at all after the proceedure. After both lenes were replaced I returned to his office and complained that my vision both near and intermediate were now very blurry. His response to me was "I don't know what the blurriness is about" It is now six months since my surgery and my near and intermediate vision is still very blurry.

I had a procedure done by Dr. Kunz and I would most definitely recommend him. He's an amazing doctor at Oregon Eye Consultants. He takes his time with his patients and he has a sense of humor. He took the time to answer any questions I had. Excellent doctor!
