Dr. Heusch is always personable and professional. She is trustworthy and knowledgeable and asks probing questions to get to the meat of your needs. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Wendy. Heusch is very kind, explains in detail her thoughts, thorough examination and has great “bedside manners”. She is an exceptional surgeon. I have been treating her patients for several years (I am a certified hand therapist) and now entrust the care of my shoulder with her.

Wendy Heusch, DO, is exceptional in her professional skills and clear concise communication. I saw her for a cortisone shot in my left knee. After examining my x-rays and my knee, she explained the extend of my arthritis and it's affect on my knee position and thus on my walking. In addition she explained future options before preparing me for the cortisone injection. I have to see she is skilled as a physician. I had no discomfort with the injection and feel most confident overall in her care, today and in the future.

Excellent doctor!

Very professional and great doctor

Dr Heusch was very thorough and efficient with her examination. She explained things in a way that helped my son understand next steps of care and helped him contemplate his choices for recovery. We will recommend her to others should they require Orthopedic or Sports Medicine services.

Dr Heusch was very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful . She explained and answered all of my Questions and took her time . I usually get very nervous at the Doctors but she made me feel at ease . The entire Staff was amazing .

I have been dealing with a shoulder issue for about nine months. I saw two orthopedic surgeons and was disgusted by how I was treated. A family member referred me to Dr. Heusch. It was the best referral I have ever had. Dr. Heusch spent a good amount of time with me, explaining different options and giving me ample time to ask questions. I felt completely at ease and very comfortable with Dr. Heusch. She definitely knows her trade. I’m so happy to now be her patient.

Dr. Heusch was the surgeon that repaired my right rotator cuff injury eight years ago . I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! With her skill, and the wonderful physical therapy team at Apple Physical Therapy, I regained total use of my right shoulder. When my left shoulder became problematic, I got a referral for Dr. Heusch. I was certain, based on the pain I was experiencing, that I would be a candidate for a shoulder repair on my other shoulder. Happily, Dr. Heusch gave me a (I believe,) a cortisone injection and shoulder strengthening exercises. When I went back for my six week review, I felt that I had reduced my pain by 85% and was on my way to complete pain relief. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Heusch!

I had an 8am appy. Checked in 15mins early to complete the new patient check in process. Check in area was clean and plenty of room. Friendly staff. It was my first time but the process didn't take long and I was seen relatively quickly. The X-rays didn't take long. Dr. Heusch took time to explain in detail the issue I faced and was thorough. I walked away feeling that I was heard and cared for well, and with a good understanding of 'why' the recommended treatment was preferred above all other options. Go see Dr. Heusch. Dr. Hausch communicates concepts very thoroughly and involves her patient in the treatment plan. She demonstrates expertise in diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Herschel was very thorough in her questions and exam. She explained everything to me and explained my treatment options. I was able to receive my injection w/out having to reschedule which I really appreciated. She listened to me and did not make me feel rushed.

Happy with the shoulder surgery work done.

Dr Heusch was great. She’s caring and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and has great communication skills. I actually understood what she was telling me. She’s now my go to dr for knee and shoulder problems I have with my osteoarthritis.

Follow-up from Good Sam ER for fractured pubic bones and damaged rotator cuff. Recommended PT to build up quads and exercises for rotator cuff. Will have follow-up in 6 wks to see results of PT and to take another xray of break area.

Almost everything about this process and my surgery and the follow has been great! I do think it is hard to get ahold of the office staff if it's urgent (a non-medical need to ask a question) but not a medical emergency. Other than that I love Dr. Heusch and all the staff, medical and office!

Dr Heusch is the best. I have had her work on me three times and am having no problems and have full motion back.

Wendy and her whole staff everyone from the front receptionist to her assistant Lexi are absolutely wonderful! She is an AMAZING surgeon!!! She has completely reconstructed both of my shoulder blades. Detach & reconnect the bicept of my right arm, also reconstruction of that shoulder blade. Also to the extent of a very extensive surgery that is a fairly new procedure of adding a cadaver tissue and 4 posts because my left rotator was so badly torn I had ripped a hole in it which has resulted in an amazing repair & wonderful recovery! Dr. Heusch was caring and understanding towards my needs. Explained the problem and gave options. I’m very happy with the level of service she provided and would recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Heusch explained and showed me what was going on with my shoulder and was thorough in her assessment. She did not think I needed surgery or injections, but instead gave me exercises. What a relief! Not all surgeons just want to do surgery as the main alternative! Much appreciated.

Dr Heusch did a complete rotator cuff repair and a bicep tendon repair on my right shoulder in February 2021 . I am very pleased with the surgery and my recovery. Had my 7 week follow up visit with her and everything is progressing nicely.

Dr. Heusch did surgery on my right labrum and bicep tendon about 4 years ago. Everything was perfect and still is. Im having similar problems with my left, and going back to see her for that. She is an expert in her field. I was told by PT therapist that I was lucky to see her as she is considered to be the best on the entire west coast. Great Doctor, friendly and professional.

Dr. Heusch is wonderful to have as an orthopedic doctor. She explains things in layman’s terms so that I can understand what the issue is and how she will fix it. She also explains the care after the procedure is done.

She communicates, communicates, communicates. Spoke with my wide right after surgery. Starts her day early (very early in the hospital) and goes as long as it takes. After 2 different surgeries, the results were top notch!

I had three different tears in my shoulder that Dr Heusch repaired. My shoulder is healing wonderfully and I am completely happy with the entire process and trust her with any future problems. Her staff were always responsive to any questions I had.

My husband was seen by Dr. Heusch for ongoing shoulder pain. The scheduling process was easy and we were seen within a week. Dr. Heusch is a very knowledgeable and thorough physician. The staff was also kind and professional.

Highly recommended to me when I needed Rotator cuff surgery. Very pleasant to work with. Excellent facilities and care. Very informative. Great recovery. After 6 weeks I am doing above average. Have run into others who have had surgery by her and they also highly acclaim her work. I would definitely recommend her for any shoulder problem you may have.

I would recommend Dr. Heusch with no hesitation. She was very professional and helped me very much with my shoulder. She did surgery on my shoulder and I am recuperating very well. She answered all questions and explained everything very well. I would recommend her to anyone.

horrible!!! She has to be one of the WORST Dr's every. I am not sure if she got her degree from an online college or a cracker jack box. I really cant explain how bad she was with the amount of space allowed here. All I can say is DO NOT USE THIS DR!
