Dr. Bodemer was direct, honest and compassionate about my back condition. He explained why I needed the procedure and how it would potentially help me. He also gave me the necessary time to heal and build back my strength before I returned to work. The pain I had pre-surgery is gone and I am mobile again! I will be forever grateful to him for giving me the ability to walk again without crippling pain.

I can't say enough about Dr. Bodemer and his outstanding staff. I was in terrible pain, especially to both my legs for almost 7 years. The clinic I had been seeing kept telling me it was knee problems and said there was nothing could be done. At times I could hardly walk. It was my Chiropractor, Dr. Fred Raschke, who finally did an X-ray of my back and found that my disk was totally disintegrated. He suggested the Neuro Spine Center and I am so glad he did! I had a fusion done on my L4, L5 and am now 3 months out. I have little or no pain in my back and no more pain in my legs. Dr. Bodemer and his staff addressed all my concerns and issues and were very caring. For the first time in years, I am not in pain and feel like I have my life back. I would highly recommend Dr. Bodemer for any back surgery that you are considering. I had been experiencing lower back problems for over 3 years which radiated pain through my left leg. I went through injections, a PRP injection, physical therapy, and most recently a spinal cord stimulator trial. The only think that helped somewhat was the spinal cord stimulator. I saw Dr. Bodemer to get my permanent stimulator implanted when he showed me my previous MRI's that I had done. He showed me that I had a significant slipped disc between L4 and L5. He told me that I could go ahead with the stimulator but suggested that he thought surgery would be a better option. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure to me. Since I wanted a permanent fix, I elected for surgery. I had an anterior/posterior lumbar fusion. This was the best decision that I had ever made. A few hours after surgery, I was walking with no pain at all. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bodemer!!

Dr Bodemer is a very rare doctor, I can't say enough good things about him. After 20 plus years of spine pain, he recommended that I get a spinal fusion L4-S1. He went over the benefits and possible side effects with me. He also gave me the option of where I wanted to have the surgery done. He gave me my life back! After about 5 weeks, I was pain free and the incision healed up so nicely that I'm actually proud of the scar.

After 2 prior surgeries a spinal fusion was recommended. I opted for a second opinion with Dr. Bodemer at the Neurospine Center. I was very happy with the quick appointments and little wait time upon arrival. Dr. Bodemer explained options and the procedure well and provided me with a path for getting feeling back in my leg and eliminating nerve pain. Scheduling was flawless and staff was great to work with! Dr. Bodemer coordinated with another surgeon during the surgery and made sure to let me know what was going to happen the entire way. He spent time explaining to my family what the expectation was after surgery and truly showed he cared about my successful recovery. Follow up visits were convenient, some over the phone and staff was always available to answer questions. Dr. Bodemer provided me with great care, feeling in my leg and although some back pain will always be part of my life it is way better than what it was and I can live with that! I was more than pleased with my SI joint fusion that I had a few months back. I do not hardly any pain, and if so it is when I am over doing it. I strongly recommend him. He is a friendly person and a very good surgeon, with great results. Very satisfied.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Bodemer to anyone needing a spinal surgeon. He's an excellent as well as a super guy. I've had twenty three surgeries for various problems over the years with mixed results. Mostly they were successful, but many times there were little things that made them less than expected. My recent spinal fusion surgery with Dr. Bodemer was excellent and went completely according to plans. In a word, great! To say that he's a confident professional is an understatement.

Dr. is very friendly and very good at explaining what is wrong and how to fix it. Made me comfortable with having my surgery. The only thing I would say that could have improved my experience would be If I would have seen him at my two week follow up visit instead of someone else. It just made me feel a little less important. Not a big deal, The other person I saw was very nice and knowledgeable. My experience was very good and I highly recommend Dr. Bodemer.

I was referred to the Neuro Spine Center by my family physician. I met Dr. Bodemer for the initial consultation and review of my MRI. Dr. Bodemer explained to me in depth concerning my surgery. He was very informative and not in a rush to answer all my questions. The day of the surgery I was greeted at the surgical center. My first question to the nurse was would I walk out of there with no pain and her reply was definitely yes. I was processed through the admitting area and then to the prep area with no wait. The two nurses that prepped me for surgery were very professional, and insured that any questions and concerns were completely addressed. The anesthesiologist was extremely through and took extra time to explain everything he would be doing to make me comfortable during and after surgery. I met Dr. Bodemer as I was taken into surgery and basically got the thumbs up. The surgery went better than I thought it would be no ill affect what's so ever. A fantastic experience

I was referred to Dr. Bodemer for surgery. Everything went well, as planned and on time. I was not able to talk to Dr. Bodemer when surgery was completed, nor in post-op appointments. These were handled by others in the same practice.

Dr Bodemer worked in concert with Dr Brown to properly diagnose and treat my spinal stenosis. Dr Bodemer thoroughly explained the problem and the recommended solution. Risks were explained, as well as the potential for possible future procedure related to my spinal condition. Surgery relieved the pressure on my spinal cord and my level of pain was reduced by 90%. Throughout the process I was treated like a real person, not just s patient, who was in need of professional skills that rendered a successful outcome.

Dr. Bodemer is an excellent Dr. He is very professional and yet very personable. He listens to you and is not in a hurry to leave. He wants to make sure all your questions are answered and he really does care. He performed surgery on both SI joints and now I am back on the treadmill, which I could not do for well over a year, probably more. I feel great! Thanks Dr. Bodemer.

I had SI joint fusion on the right side done by Dr Bodemer. He was amazing. At my first visit he did a thorough exam and review to see if he felt he could help me. I have an abnormality so prior to making a decision we did a few more tests. He also consulted with the representative who attends many of these surgeries to determine the best approach. He explained what he was going to do and I chose to have him do it. It was a rough first 2 weeks, which I expected and then my back started to feel better than it has in years. I can't give him more than the max 5 stars but I would without hesitation.

Spinal damage was 25 yrs old, Dr Bodemer operated to remove the damage. Was very patient, listened, and helped me understand what was to happen. The operation was a total success, no longer any pain, which was a constant 4 prior to surgery for at least 10 years. I would recommend Dr Bodemer to anyone who needs assistance with spinal injuries. The absolute best I could have hoped for.

Dr Bodemer performed a fusion on my S1 and L5. Installed a disc and screws. Before surgery I could not walk for any distance and could not stand for more than a couple minutes without severe pain. Three months later I am pain free and back to normal activities. He was very informative before the surgery. I knew exactly what was going to happen and how he was going to do it. His staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone looking for back surgery.

Dr. Bodemer fused 3 vertebrae in my spine. I can walk without a limp or pain medication for the first time in 20 years!

Met with Dr. Bodemer for a consultation. We've never had such an awful session with a doctor in 50 years. He was arrogant, confrontational and didn't answer our questions. When asked if the procedure would relieve the pain, the response was "I don't know. You let this go so long and I'm not a miracle worker". Another inappropriate comment, when discussing an underlying health condition, was "I really don't like doing surgery on someone like you". Not to worry. He won't be doing the surgery. We went to someone else.

I was referred to Dr. Bodemer by Dr. Sellers at Neuro Spine Spine Center of Wisconsin. Dr. Bodemer performed a double Laminectomy/decompression on my lower back on March 12th 2020. Before surgery, I was in extreme pain and could barely walk. 12 weeks later and I'm doing very well. I'm even starting to swing the golf clubs, (very easy per Doctor's orders!) I am very happy that Dr. Bodemer was referred to me!

For over 4 months I suffered with severe lower back pain that brought the quality of my life to a near standstill. I had a laminectomy done by Dr. Bodemer on Mar.5 and the extreme pain I experienced was completely gone. Shortly after the surgery I was back to walking and doing normal activities without any pain. I just had my post op appointment today Mar. 18 and all is back to normal. God bless Dr. Bodemer and his staff for the care throughout this procedure. Had a spinal cord stimulator implanted after doing the trial one for a week. Never felt better. Life will be returning to normal after years of pain, surgeries and physical therapy. Can't thank him enough. Personable, sincere, truly cares.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Before my spine surgery I could not sit without pain. Dr Bodemer fixed my problem and gave me a new lease on life. I was very impressed that Dr. Bodemer called me on a weekend, at home, to see how I was doing.

I was having severe back pain with it shooting through my groin area down the back of my butt down my left leg. After about 4 injections over 4 months, nothing seemed to help and I could only walk about 5 minutes at work without being in massive pain and have to stop and bend over to try and stretch it out. Kind of like a sciatic nerve going through my entire left side and back. I seen Dr. Bodemer and he suggested a back fusion of L4,L5 & S1 with removing the discs and installing cages front the front side and rods and screws on the back side with bone marrow and after 6-8 weeks of recovery, I was absolutely pain free!! What a difference. A very painful after surgery but looking back very well worth it! Just done Dec 2018. I can walk as much as I want. I only have some pain now walking on the concrete at work now but on it for 12 hours a day when working. I play golf 4-5 days a week and no pain at all!! If you have symptoms like mine then go to Neurospine and ask to see Dr. Bodemer!

Had a herniated disk in my neck which caused terrible pain in my left shoulder, arm and hand. Also caused my index finger to go numb. Dr. Bodemer explained what he could do to correct the problem in terms that I could understand. So very glad I did!!!! Within a couple weeks the pain was completely gone!!!! Also the numbness in my finger has disappeared. I truly thank Dr. Bodemer for helping me!!! Would highly recommend him!!!!

He explained everything about my pain situation and how he could fix the herniated disc. Using a minimally invasive procedure just 2 1/2 weeks ago, my leg nerve pain has almost totally disappeared. The nerve will take some time to heal, but the pain being gone is a Godsend. Thank you Dr. Bodemer.
