Dr. William Dinwiddie is an amazing doctor. I met him at an Urgent Care center where he works part time, then he seems to have his own practice as well. Very thorough with asking the right questions to determine medication side effects and interactions. Knew about prescription and OTC meds and herbals. Was able to drill thru a list of symptoms and determine what meds, if any, would be the cause. Who’d know that a swollen leg that I thought was just fluid buildup was actually an infection that sends toxins thru the body and even affect the brain? This guy spotted it immediately. The place wasn’t too busy but he had other patients there and I never felt rushed, he multitasks amazingly well. I don’t often write reviews about doctors but I’ve had several primary care doctors but none where as thorough as this Dr. Dinwiddie, by leaps and bounds. My other primary care docs,they would be seeing like 20 patients and be short and curt to get you in and out the door. Then he would need reservations 2 months in advance. I walked into the urgent care and Dr. Dinwiddie had me in the exam room maybe 5 minutes after filling out and signing papers at the front desk. I think we were there like 6 hours, but time very well spent. They drew blood, and ran the tests right there in 30-ish minutes to check kidney, liver, and a whole bunch of other stuff, which I received a printed copy of all the blood readings. Also did a urine analysts on site for like kidney issues. With all that data in hand he selected the right prescriptions and printed it out and had Walgreens fill it in 30 minutes and I’ve got a treatment plan and meds. All this in under 4 hours on a Thursday. At an urgent care. Amazing! Best. Experience. Evarrrr. I had this preconception notion that urgent cares were hacks. Not with this doc. This guy is a diamond in the rough. A needle in a haystack, if you will. Doc, if you’re reading this, keep up the good fight man, you’re on the top of your game.
