I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for years. Two of my kids had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr Friedel and they had good experiences, so I finally braced myself for the pain, scheduled a long weekend off from work and made my appointment. My appointment was at 9am on a Friday. I was home by 10am, eating a pastrami sandwich the next day and back at work Monday morning like nothing ever happened. Never took anything more than Advil/Tylenol and never had any pain. Sore yes, pain no. Dr Friedel did a great job taking my teeth out, I never thought I would be so satisfied with an experience that is usually anything but satisfying. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for years. Had a consult with Dr. Friedel & then came back for an extraction & bone graft. I plan to eventually have him do the implant as well. I give him & his staff the highest rating possible. I had zero pain both during & after the procedure! Not even one Motrin has been needed. He is experienced & trustworthy. He takes time to answer all questions. I never felt rushed or pressured as I was trying to decide on treatment. I highly recommend.

I went to my regular dentist with an excruciating pain in a tooth that was already broken. They had no surgeon in their office, and referred me to Dr. Friedel. Thank God they did. I had no appointment and they took me right away. The anesthesia was the right amount and the procedure was performed in such a way that I had no pain during or after. Bled for less than an hour, an no more after that. I did not have to take the pain medicine. I made sure to thank him and his wonderful assistant Wendy for their help. It is very important to communicate with the doctor/dentist, and tell them how we feel and how we can or can not manage pain. They take it from there, and know what to do.

Poor follow up in billing insurance; as a result I had to pay full price, out of pocket for an image and evaluation that fell outside the dates allowed by my insurance. No one ever checked or said anything. Office staff sent the bill to collections despite the fact that image was not even necessary, as we ended up going to a different doctor who cared more about explaining costs associated with treatment. I Will definitely not recommend.
