I went to see Dr Marley for a 2nd opinion on two potential teeth extractions. He spent a great deal of ‘informative’ time with me and had other ideas of how I may be able to fill the ‘gap’ from a broken tooth. He was very kind and informative and if he wasn’t 75 miles from my home, I’d consider changing dentists.

Every visit I have to the dentist here is lovely. Everyone who works there is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend.

I called for a broken tooth and called to see when I could get in. They scheduled me for an hour later!! Not only that, but Dr. Marley has an awesome bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable (I am scared at the dentists) he made sure I wasn't in pain the whole way through. I totally recommend him for any and all dental work. His while team is amazing!!

What an amazing dental experience! I am from out of state, and I have been having severe tooth pain for months. A filling had fallen out from my upper molar awhile back and I had neglected taken care of it. The pain had been overwhelming and I finally had a day off from fishing. I reached out to the Homer Dental Clinic as they opened at 8am. I was sure there would not be any openings with such short notice. To my surprise there was a 9am appointment and they scheduled me right in. I showed up and was instantly treated with compassion and professionalism. After registration I was whisked back for a examination by Dr. Anderson. We both agreed that an extraction was needed on my infected tooth. We started the extraction within a few minutes and I couldn’t have been more happier. The staff and dental assistant were amazing. The Dr. was amazing. He pulled a tooth and I didn’t feel a stitch of pain. These folks here are truly the best in the business. I wasn’t pressured or upsold on anything. I needed help and they provided that relief for me quickly and efficiently. Thank you Homer Dental Clinic. I appreciate what you did for me so much. I will forever be grateful.

Professional, caring and efficient! Dr. Marley respected my time and comfort as he skillfully performed dental implant surgery for a long-serving baby tooth. With the help of his wonderful team, I was thoroughly educated about the procedure before, during and after. I appreciate having this high level of care in our small Alaska town.

Professional and competent, he also has the reassuring manner of a caring dentist. You just can’t go wrong at Dr. Marley’s offices. During this time of COVID, Dr. Marley and his staff have instituted protocols that are just right for protecting everyone and instilling confidence. I had no misgivings about being in those offices.

They were able to get me in fairly quickly and were very friendly and gentle. Dr. Anderson was able to re-cement my crown temporarily until I return to my hometown dentist for a new crown.

Sue, my hygenist is very good at what she does. I am not the easiest patient I'm sure. She adjusted to my needs. I wanted to rinse and use the sink. No problem.

I was very pleased with my first visit today. They’ve recently started seeing patients again after The Covid-19 mandates in the state were relaxed somewhat. I found everyone very professional and concerned about patient safety. Rachel was awesome. Dr. Marley was great and very knowledgeable. The dental hygienist, Sarah was wonderful and concerned about my comfort. The employees at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. This is a well run practice.

HDC has been taking care of my pie hole for 10+ years. I had been to almost every other dentist in Homer, nobody compares to the experience, skill and quality of Dr Marley and Dr Anderson. Great hygienist, Sue is not only super friendly but very experienced and gives a comfortable cleaning.

Dr. Anderson arranged to see me after hours for an emergency tooth removal given pain and work schedule out of town., and he had just returned from a weekend trip and was likely tired. Dr. Anderson is clearly a highly skilled and experienced doctor. The tooth was a upper molar at very back. 5 minutes after anesthetic was confirmed ready, it was out in one piece. I thought Dr. Anderson was still prepping the tooth when he said " here it is". I didn't need any pain meds afterwards. This is 2nd time I've had to have a tooth pulled by Dr. Anderson and both went much better than I even hoped for. My family and I have found Dr. Anderson for standard care as well and we have always found him to be highly focused on patient care, extremely knowledgable, and an excellent doctor.

In short, because he cares. He takes a moment to touch base and see how you are doing in your life. He sees you as a human not just a mouth full of potential profit. You don’t feel his needle. I wouldn't consider anyone else because he is absolutely The BEST. He removed some decay in my tooth & prepared it for a crown, painlessly recently. Homer is fortunate to have such a skilled dentist.

It's rare to go to any rating site and find that anyone, especially a health care professional, has nothing but the highest ratings. In this case, I'm not surprised, because Homer Dental Clinic is chock-a-block with great professionals and staff members. Sue is an absolutely superb dental hygienist. She cares for her patients and is driven to provide the highest quality work possible. How often does one leave the hygienist's feeling that the experience may be the best part of the day? Well, it happens every time at the Homer Dental Clinic. Dr. Jay Marley himself is a highly qualified and capable dentist with a genuine and appealing manner with patients. (He also graduated from one of the best medical schools on the planet at a university that also is my own alma mater.) I have full confidence in his skills as well as the personal attitudes he brings to his work. I've been around a while, but I never have encountered a group of dental professionals to whom I would be more inclined to entrust my dental health.
