Dr. ONeill gave a very "real" diagnosis. Telling me all sides of the picture so I can make an informed decision.

Dr. O’Neill worked my wife in on the very day we called. He conducted a detailed and thorough review of her broken hand and fixed her up with a new, lighter, shorter, more comfortable splint. He was open, caring, and friendly. Answered all our questions and set up a follow up appointment. Highly recommend!!

Dr O’Neill and his staff were very professional, friendly and willing to answer questions as well as providing quality care to the patient. I was in and out of the office fairly quick with no issues.

I have osteoarthritis in the first joint of my index finger of my right hand from an old softball injury. I am right-handed. Dr. O’Neill has shot it with cortisone 3 times. The shots give remarkable relief for a few months every time. He and his staff are very efficient and professional.

I was really surprised with the staff and the dr . Everyone there was so nice and friendly. Dr O’Neill listen to what I wanted and didn’t just want to cut on my hand even was me to see other dr there before they make decisions on what to do . Highly recommend this place .

Rather than have hand surgery, Dr. O’Neill offered an alternative to alleviate my problem. For that I am thankful. Nice gentleman and I am fortunate to have him as my “hand” doctor. His staff are the best too.

Dr. O’Neill is a no nonsense straight to the point professional. He has been quick and accurate at identifying my issues. His recommendations on solutions to my issues have been spot on in correcting everything I have sought his help with.

He gave me a cortisone shot to the first joint in my right index finger. I had a softball injury there decades ago. This is the third shot and each one has given me huge relief, which lasts for about 3 months. He also explained the option of surgery.

Dr. O'Neill performed surgery on my left hand that nerve test graded as severely damaged. I had not been able to detect touches with my left thumb for approximately five years. My hand was extremely weak after surgery, and it felt slightly numb for 6-8 weeks. Magically, it just returned to normal as if it was never damaged. No numbness, full mobility with every finger, touch and feel is perfect. My palm is still tender if put to heavy stress, but I am sure that will leave me too. I am a hobby carpenter and having two functioning hands feels really good. Dr. O'Neill not only fixed my hand, but returned me to my happy place, the wood shop.

I highly recommend Doctor O’Neill The checking in process was super fast. I had X-rays done and within 10 minutes or so I was seen by Doctor O’Neill. He diagnosed my problem and treated it within 15 minutes of my visit. Total time at the facility about a hour. Really pleased with my treatment. I have been suffering for quite some time. Dr. O'Reilly know exactly what to do for me. He made it simple and worry free. But did like me know that my treatment was only temporary. My trigger finger will come back.

They got me in right away. There was almost no waiting in the lobby or in the exam room. They were very efficient but also kind.

I have now seen 3 specialists at Bluegrass Orthopaedics and I am astounded at the consistency of service provided here. All doctors and staff, especially the cast staff, are thorough, efficient, but most of all, kind and compassionate. I look forward to my next visit.

Dr. O’Neill and his staff were great! I was very nervous and they were so understanding and kept me well informed!

Dr O’Neil was very professional in explaining my condition and the severity of it. He was very informative about everything and answered all questions that I had for him. I’m glad to be seeing him to better my health of my hands and wrist.

I had carpal tunnel surgery June 2021 and it has alleviated all of my numbness/pain issues. Dr O’Neill is an amazing surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
