Dr. William Patrick Parks

Dr Parks is a kind, gentle & knowledgeable practitioner. He did the best job fitting my daughter with contacts; and I highly recommend him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Parks for over 10 years. I've followed him from office to office and have found his contact lens fittings better than other doctors. I have a very high power prescription, by its no problem for him to prescribe the right measurements.

I’ve been seeing an optometrist in Mesquite for many years, so I was a bit anxious about seeing a new doctor closer to home. I chose Dr. Parks after several Rockwallians recommended him. Dr. Parks was very thorough and addressed all areas regarding my vision. I feel secure that my eyes are under good care.

Dr. Parks was a true life saver when I was out of town and realized I was having an eye issue. He listened to me, had a pretty good idea I was having retina issues and immediately got me into a DR where I was traveling. It was attentive and very calming and I highly recommend him!

I took my elderly mother to visit Dr. Parks and we had a wonderful experience. He was so kind and patient with her. He did not put her through unnessary tests but only did what was necessary to help her see better. He made her feel like she was somebody important and special. Dr Parks is fantastic ! ! He takes the time to explain, and that's important to me. Great experiences every time with Dr. Parks. Unfortunately the office staff is not quite as exceptional. Every time I call, or every time I'm in the office - it seems as though I'm bothering them, or my question is unimportant, or it's a dumb question. Like I'm causing them trouble. It's not pleasant. Things usually roll off my cuff, but because of the constistant attitude, it's very hard to want to go back.

BEWARE: He told me I had a serious eye infection and needed to come back for multiple follow up visits at my expense, and needed a several hundred dollar prescription. After following up with another optometrist and then a third ophthalmologist(unrelated to each other) I found out that I did NOT have that infection or anything resembling it and did NOT need any follow ups or any medication!
