Dr. S is decent. She’s kind and knowledgeable, I’d say a fine pediatrician. I wish she took genuine interest in my child as I felt our first pediatrician had before we moved, but that is being a bit nit picky. The secondary doctor (Rabkina) who we have had to see several times for more urgent matters (rash, cold, etc.) is the least compassionate healthcare professional I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. She spends no more than 30 seconds listening to us and observing my child. She doesn’t even say hi when she enters the room. I’ve been more impressed by 14 year old cashiers than I have with her. Every time I call to make an appointment I am on hold for a minimum of ten minutes. I am a full time employee and parent and I don’t have the luxury of waiting up to 20 minutes to schedule an appointment. Hire more staff or implement an online booking system. I had an insurance issue and the receptionist Sam was very helpful. They're always kind here and I love Dr. Samofalov. I had to reschedule my daughter's appointment and when I called a week later with her updated information Sam knew who I was just from me and my daughter's name. I had to leave a review right after that because just the idea that she helped me, remembered me, and we quickly resolved the issue- I was shocked and impressed. My baby woke up w a high fever over the weekend. Tried to call after hours to ask doctor if I should take the baby to the ER or if I should wait till Monday morning to bring the baby in. Doctor never called for 2 days and when I called back the answering service gave some sorry excuse saying its because the doctor can't find the baby's records even tho the baby was seen there several times. Wonderful doctor .. ok staff but very long waits like hours and to schedule it’s impossible I can’t even think of rescheduling because then I have to wait 2more months... I tried scheduling routine check ups for my kids but they said they can’t schedule me until next year and I called last month and I said ok I’ll still schedule it anyways they said I can’t because next year they have a new scheduling system and thats it very unprofessional. I've been coming here for my daughters check ups since she was born and I'll say it's an ok place, they have seats for people but it gets crowded and many have to stand because women come with their strollers and have to take up a lot of place. Also the pediatricians are very friendly to you and the kids.
