Dr. Yates performed a breast lift, augmentation, and nipple reduction on me and I could not be happier!! After endless research, scrolling through hundreds of reviews, and talking with other patients of Dr. Yates, I was confident that I had found the right surgeon and I couldn’t have been more right, not to mention that the recovery was NOTHING like I expected. I had surgery on a Thursday and went back to work the following Tuesday and honestly I could have went back that Monday. It was one of the easiest surgeries I have ever had and I’ve had a LOT of them. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Yates, his staff, and his anesthesiologist. Such professionalism and kindness. If you are reading this and are trying to find the right surgeon for breast surgery, look no further. Dr. Yates and his staff are amazing. They are very attentive and caring. Dr Yates performed a brachioplasty on me a few years ago, completely changed my confidence level! I knew when it came time to have my implants replaced there was no question on who I would go to. I am one week out from that surgery and doing wonderful! I would 1000% recommend Dr. Yates to anyone. And coming from me that’s a big deal. I have not had great experiences with Dr’s. I came to him with a possible ruptured implant that was only 1 1/2 old. He looked over the previous surgical notes and explained a bunch of things the previous Dr. failed to even tell me had happened and gave me my options in language that I understood. There was a lot wrong with that previous surgery, but too much to write here. The ultrasound we did that day did not show a rupture, and he even said he didn’t know what he could do to fix what the previous Dr. had done because he had to actually go in to see the extent of the potential damage that was caused. But he laid out a couple options, explained the worst case and best case scenarios, and let me make my decision. Needless to say, I opted to have the procedure done, place the correct size new implants, and crossed my fingers for the best outcome. And that’s EXACTLY what I got. The old implant was in fact ruptured, Dr. Yates was able to correct the wrong doings of the previous Dr. and I had almost no pain from the surgery. I’m beyond thrilled with my results and very glad I decided to move forward. But here’s the best part for me. Dr. Yates was kind and spoke to me in a way that did not make me feel stupid for my concerns and he explained everything to me in a way that I understood. His entire staff is amazing, from his secretary to his nurses and anesthesiologist. And he has an app that makes all paperwork and communications a breeze. I’ve already recommended him to a couple of my friends both in Utah and out of state to have him do the procedures they are considering. 1000% Dr. Yates will be my go to for anyone wanting a recommendation. Sorry for the book. I’m just really happy with the whole experience. ????

Being an out of town patient, I was worried that my surgery plan would change once Dr. York saw me in person.  It didn't at all.  He truly knows the body so well that he was spot on.  After 4 c-sections I finally did something for myself and I was instantly impressed with the results.  A tummy tuck is more than just changing your appearance; it changes your confidence.  I no longer worry about how my clothes fit or even how I look without clothes. My recovery was so smooth!! I only used Tylenol and was back to work in two weeks. I traveled from Missouri for breast implants and a lift, after locating Dr York Yates via Google years ago. My experience was so excellent that it was almost unreal. The care, courtesy, professionalism. and friendliness of the staff , from beginning to end, was excellent! Especially considering that I had to travel , they made it as seamless as possible. Dr. Yates is a true passionate artist and his staff is just as passionate as him. I also thought the anesthesiologist was amazing as well, and humorous :). Also, after the surgery the Dr. was so responsive and I had all the information I needed. After having an unpleasant experience at a different facility for a fat transfer, I was skeptical about getting a breast augmentation and lift. This led me to do a significant amount of research for plastic surgeons in SLC, look at all the before and after’s, and try to find some type of inconsistency in their websites. What sold me on Dr. Yates was his website because he had the most FAQ’s and before and after pictures. Dr. Yates was extremely personable and listened to every single one of my concerns. I loved the 3D imaging software that he used to help me envision what my results would be, and my results were pretty spot on with the projected outcome. My recovery has been such a breeze, and I was never really in pain. I would take Tylenol when I felt a little bit of discomfort that consisted of a little pressure and tightness. An incredibly talented surgeon. I was very nervous for this surgery and spent months comparing doctors. I ended up going to 5 other consultations and truly believe he’s the best in the state! I had significant breast asymmetry and was told by almost every other surgeon that my results wouldn’t be perfect. Dr. Yates was confident he could give me what I wanted, and he did! I have perfect symmetry now and scarring is minimal. Recovery was a breeze, a little discomfort but essentially no pain. Dr. Yates always responded quickly to messages and was amazing to work with. He was extremely patient with me as I changed my size a million times, then ended up going with his original recommendation lol. (My advice is to show him a picture of what you want, then trust his expertise. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr. Yates and his staff. He and his office have every detail planned out perfectly. Surgery day was comfortable, I had little to no wait time, and I literally walked out of the operating room to the recovery room. I couldn’t be happier with my choice in physician or my results.

I had the BEST experience with Dr Yates and his office! From my very first consult to my follow up appointments, i was given the best care and love my results. I went to a consult right before Covid hit, so I had to put my surgery off for a while. They were so helpful and kind when I was ready to book everything. I ended up changing my mind about sizing and Dr Yates was so helpful and supportive in making my final decisions. Surgery day went so smoothly- they were so efficient and on time and I was done so fast! I couldn’t believe how easy the day went. I got my breast implants on Feb 2020. I am 4.11feet tall, 93 pounds, slim body frame. When I went to see Dr. Yates I told him I wanted my breast not to be too big. I was 32A cup, Dr. Yates gave me a C cup. My healing process was good and my incisions about 2 (small!! :). Dr. Yates texted and checked on me via text during the first two weeks of recovery to make sure I was okay. I’m planing on getting my breast done again because I firmly believe if I’m size D or double D I could still look really good. I wear double size Victoria Secret push up bras which gives me a DD cup and I look great. I will get them done again with Dr. Yates because he did a great job! I got the mentor memory gel smooth round high profile implants 250cc’s and that gave me a C cup. I hope this is helpful, I wish someone wrote this review before I got my surgery so I knew then that I could have gone to 370cc. My recovery took a bit longer. I was able to use my arms after 3 weeks with no pain, I want not able to lift more than 25 pounds of arm workout or do push ups for 1 years and 3 months. Everyone’s recovery is different mine took longer because my body does not handle pain too well. I loss a bit of sensitivity in my nipples. I started Emsculpt after having my last baby. He was a very large baby, and my body had spent the pregnancy struggling to keep him. My core was shot. Getting out of bed or picking up my baby meant hurting my back. Surgeon who listens! Dr. Yates was the best! My main concern was to repair my diastasis recti and hernia with a tummy tuck. I met with other surgeons who told me my only options were to either lower my belly button (which I didn’t feel was as feminine) or to also have a vertical incision (which I REALLY didn’t want to do.) Dr. Yates gave me the option of keeping the belly button where it was. The trade off of not having a vertical incision was to not tighten the skin above the belly button as much. I knew he wanted to do the vertical incision because he felt that would give the best result. However, I personally preferred keeping my skin the same above my belly button and not having a vertical scar. (My scars tend to be raised and purple.) I knew the skin BELOW my belly button would still be pulled nice and tight either way. In the end, he went with my wishes. Having a Dr. who listens and values your opinion is sooo important! He also answered my many questions through the communication app. Most importantly, he took away my disappointment by giving me an option no one else had! The staff was also awesome. They were relatable, made you feel comfortable and couldn’t have been any better. Secondly, I am thrilled with the type of anesthesia he uses. (IV sedation) That was a determining factor in picking him. (Aside from him being an awesome person and accommodating with options.????) I can tell a HUGE difference with the IV sedation vs general anesthesia. I don’t feel like my organs are coming back from the dead like with general. (Along with other health concerns with general.) For that alone I’m so happy. My recovery has been great. I am 11 days post surgery and the only thing I took was Tylenol. Each day gets a little easier. I feel like the way my stomach looks is best case scenario and I am very happy! (The lines in the photo are marker and have since washed off.) Surgeon who listens! Dr. Yates was the best! This has been the most amazing experience I’ve ever had with a surgeon. Dr. Yates is the kindest and most comforting person I’ve been around. Especially in the medical field. I was pretty positive my body wasn’t happy with my implants (done from a different surgeon) for 6 years I had weird reactions and horrible pain. As dramatic as it sounds some days I felt I was on my death bed. I couldn’t leave my bed with horrible pain, headaches, and the list goes on. I did a lot of research on who I wanted to go to for an explant, lift, and fat transfer. I am going on 4 weeks almost and am so completely happy with the way I look. I cannot say enough of how awesome Dr. Yates and his staff are! I was looking to have a breast augmentation for many years now. I always felt scared to go under general anesthesia, and it was the main reason why I never pursued the surgery. I moved to Utah from back east Summer 2019, and decided to research surgeons. Upon reading reviews for Dr. Yates, I immediately set up my consultation. He was everything I hoped a surgeon would be: knowledgeable, caring, professional, humorous, and honest. The fact that the office used local anesthesia and deep sedation and not general anesthesia was even more of a selling point. Dr. Yates answered all of my questions and quelled all of my fears, so much so that I didn't even shop around other plastic surgeons. I knew I had found what I wanted after one visit. Leading up to my surgery, Dr. Yates and his awesome Patient Coordinator, Lindsay, answered any questions I had via the Symblast app rather quickly...like within the hour. After COVID resulted in the delay of my surgery in March 2020, I was able to reschedule on the first day Dr. Yates was back open in May 2020 (Dr. Yates made very sure to get in me ASAP, due to my crazy summer race schedule). On the day of my surgery, I was still a bit nervous over the anesthesia part, however talking to the nurse, Nancy, the fabulous anesthesiologist, Glenn, and to Dr. Yates one more time before surgery, I felt ready to go and totally comfortable. Dr. Yates uses a rapid recovery method as well, which ensures both safety and comfort before, during, and after the procedure. Before I knew it, the surgery was over (best sleep ever!!) and I was in recovery for about 30 minutes or so. Post surgery, I never had to take any of my narcotics...I only took 800mg of Advil every 8 hours. I was only had slight soreness the 2nd and 3rd day, but the pain was very minor. Dr. Yates made sure to check up on me the next day and again, was so quick to answer any questions I had via the App, even on the weekends! Definitely check out his Instagram page, as there are so many helpful (and witty!) videos and posts to make you feel connected to Dr. Yates and his team, and even more assured that Dr. Yates is the best plastic surgeon in Utah. I never had any nausea, vomiting, tiredness, etc. The entire experience was so great from consultation to surgery, to three month check in, that I am going back for abdominal liposuction in a few weeks!! The staff was extremely kind and professional. This was my first cosmetic surgery, so I had some general concerns but they made the process more than easy. Dr Yates was attentive and available for all of my questions leading up to the surgery and even after. And I had a lot of questions. He listened to what I described and the look that I was going for. One thing, I especially appreciated was his ability to translate my wishes into realistic outcomes in the pre-op appointment. I am 5'3" and 150 lb and he made sure they weren't too large so that my body would be balanced. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results and wish I had done this for myself sooner. I went with 415 cc silicone unders (high profile). They've dropped and fluffed so naturally and filled in where my breasts were deflated due to weight loss - and it's only been less than two months. I spoke with a couple of surgeons but ultimately decided that Dr Yates experience from working in this industry for so long and his honesty about results made him the best choice. Any time I told someone who I was going to for my breast augmentation they would say, “he’s the best around!”. When I talked to Dr Yates the first time I was willing to pay anything for the best results, but he didn’t take advantage of that or try to upsell me at all. WHY Dr. York Yates, and WHY Emsculpt? I’ve done a fair amount of research into this new body sculpting service called Emscuplt. My research into this new body sculpting technology, was due to a back injury I suffered a couple years back. You see, I herniated my L4 & L5 via kickboxing, and ever since then, my core has been weak. Performing typical core exercises, as well as squats, deadlifts, and any form of twisting has been difficult, and sometimes painful. I became sick of my situation, as many give in to surgery or live with the pain and limitations. This wasn’t going to be the path or options for me. They have an app to where you can get ahold of the nurses, the coordinator (Lindsay which is awesome) and Dr. Yates himself and I never waited long for a response. It's very convenient and makes you feel at ease. I always felt comfortable and every single person is so kind. I was never in pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Yates for your plastic surgery. I had diastasis recti after having my 3 babies & of course all the loose skin & stretch marks that came along with it as well. I have worked out vigorously & dieted for years trying to get that flat stomach & 6 pack, but nothing was working & it was getting very frustrating.
