Dr. Yuan-Chung Chen

Dr. Chen is great. He's my primary care provider, and he's VERY thorough. He is mindful about all issues and doesn't rush through, and he sends me to specialists as necessary. Will keep referring my friends and colleagues to Dr. Chen. (P.S. His support staff is also very friendly and always calls with reminders.)

On Oct.28, 2021 I was notified that I had been exposed to covid.I lost my taste and smell two days later. On Nov. 5, I went to urgent care to be tested. It came back NEGATIVE. But bc I had symptoms I self quarantined. I ended up having Covid fatigue for weeks after the first 14 days. Where u are past being contagious and no longer flu symptoms but so tired every other day was literally spent sleeping.I cancelled my appt on Nov.18. When I saw him again a month later they had told me to bring my negative test. Which I did from Nov.5. Fast forward to my Feb. appt - they have accused me of lying about MY covid his receptionist kept saying “but u said u had covid when u cancelled on the 18th” they told me I had to get ANOTHER covid test.4 months later! They screamed at me, called me a liar and up on me. THEN refused to give me my records! I was a loyal patient for 15+ years. I stayed when Dr Chen lost his license!! And he will not even help me go to a new Dr. SHAMEFUL.

Doctor Phil Chen, is a thorough individual with a great sense of humor. I normally don't give anyone a pat on the back... a very good person and an exceptional physician M.D. and doctor of high standards which always matter especially if you are born with or end up with a rare disease or medical situation, I've trusted Dr. Chen since 2006... I have never regretted his professional opinion. That's my thoughts on ppl looking for an awesome doctor with difficult medical situations with their lives. Be smart choose a good doctor with great reviews and you will not regret his medical care of your important circumstances. As a Native American... I vouch for him, 100%. ?? ??? ok.

Dr Chen Is a great doctor, he cares about his patients. He has the best memory of any doctor I've seen. He's taken care of my family for years. He takes his time to address all issues. You may wait to see him, because he's taking care of each patient in detail, as he will with you.

When other doctors couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong and kept passing me on... dr. Chen was the only one who took some kind of action while we kept trying to figure it out. He basically saved my life. He may be slow at your appointment, but that is because he cares and is really trying to help you.

Dr. Chen is a fantastic doctor. He actually takes the time out to get to know his patients & gets to know them & works with them. I happen to have multiple medical problems, plus he doesnt accept my insurance, yet, he still takes the time out to help me in whatever way he can. Ive seen many doctors, and the majority of them would rather dismiss my case rather than take on the challenge and help, like the oath they took. Its all about how much money can they make.

Dr. Chen is a really good doctor. I would recommend him 100 percent! His wait times can be long but he takes time for his patient and he listens to what your concerns are. He loves jokes and he remembers conversations from the last visit. His staff is great and his wife is just a beautiful person! Stacey will help in every way possible to get you a last minute appointment when you are not feeling well at all. Just need to have patients to sit. Bring a good book or craft lol He really is a good

Dr. Chen saved my life, literally. I had 3 pulmonary embolism in my lungs. It was undetected by the ER dr, he was sending me home, if i went home i would have died. I saw Dr Chen at the hospital and he immediately ordered a test to detect any kind of clottage. Thank You for saving my life! Always Professional.
