Dr. Zeena L Marshall

I have been seeing Dr. Marshall since I was about 18 or 19 years old. I am now 27 years old. She has helped me through many important moments in life. I was able to finish engineering school with her help and then continue onto a new career as a nurse. She gets to know her patients and truly cares.

She is just a prescription pharmacy

Dr. Marshall has been very compassionate to me. She is a true professional. If I ran out of medication, she would make sure that I was taken care of - she would squeeze me into her schedule, even if she was really busy. I've been very happy with having her as my psychiatrist.

Dr. Marshall was good until Covid happened. Nowhere to be found. There was no answer to my messages, calls. I felt completely abandoned and had to turn to my physician for advice/medication refills.

Have had 3 visits with Dr. Marshall, and she has literally changed my life around. Diagnosed the problem at hand, prescribed the correct medicine, and I'm on my way back on track! Thank you Doctor. Highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Marshall today and as usual she is very compassionate and willing to listen. I didn’t even have an appt but she always said if I had an emergency and I needed to see her that it’s ok to just come in. Dr Marshall is an extremely professional and compassionate physician.

1 star only because zero stars we’re not an option. I do not recommend this office to anybody. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience . The receptionists never pick up the phone, never take messages, never relay messages, and they take lunch breaks for two hours. It’s almost impossible to make an appointment here because everything is always overbooked. The waiting rooms are awkward and hot ;it’s cramped and extremely tense because everybody’s angry that everybody has the same appointment time slot. It’s complete chaos. They constantly make mistakes whether it’s billing or appointment dates or times even prescriptions. It’s really disgusting vibe /unprofessional especially in a setting such as a doctors office. They are extremely condescending It’s an awful experience I do not recommend this office or facility to anybody looking for any type of therapeutic experience or medical help. If you decide to book an appointment in this office you should probably arrive at least an hour early and anticipate to leave an hour later than expected. The receptionist Janet in particular has extremely poor communication skills and is rude as well as extremely condescending. Really uncomfortable environment and extremely unsettling. Dr. Marshall is a good doctor who cares about her patients. She’s easy to talk to and has a good ear, I recommend her highly

Dr. Marshall maybe the finest Psychiatrist in Westchester County. I’ve been in treatment for 33 years and I’ve dealt with a few other Dr’s in the field and Dr Marshall is the most compassionate and empathetic. Often times Dr. Marshall has stayed pass hours to speak to me as well as allowing me to come in when I didn’t have an appointment. Unlike other Psychiatrists who see you for 10 minutes call in your scripts and send you on your way Dr. Marshall will sit and talk to you about how you’re feeling and what modifications need to be made to your Treatment Plan and she’s always willing to listen. Unlike others in her field Dr. Marshall does not posses one ounce of arrogance and she always keeps abreast of the latest treatments. Last year Dr Marshall left my network. I chose to stay with her and Dr Marshall accomadated me by allowing me to pay on a sliding scale. I’ve been fortunate and blessed to be in her care for the last 8 years. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Marshall and her practice over the past 9 years. She is a fantastic doctor who truly cares. She takes her time with each patient. I would rather wait a few minutes more than to be rushed in and out. I was always able to make my appointments in advance and never had an issue contacting the staff. This is my favorite Doctor by far. Dr Marshall is very professional and caring. She takes as much time with you as you need. She will listen to you ramble on and on about your life and not even blink an eye at the clock. She genuinely cares about your well being overall not just what she is treating you for.

Dr Marshall is a capable psychiatrist whom I would recommend to anyone. She is well educated, knowledgeable in her profession, and empathetic. She cares about her patients and won’t forget about you, even with 3-month periods between appointments.

Dr. Marshall literally helped save my daughter’s life. My daughter started seeing her when she was 10 for ADHD. Around that time, she developed GERD & had been hospitalized a few times for being extremely underweight (long story); Dr. Marshall was the ONLY provider who LISTENED to me when I said my daughter did not have an eating disorder. Thanks to Dr. Marshall, my daughter was finally being treated for anxiety; my now 17yr old is a happy, healthy 116lbs w/ a 95 average (combo: meds/hrd wrk).

Dr.Marshall is a wonderful Dr. She listens to your concerns, she gives great advice. I have been seeing her for several years now and am not planning on changing. The staff is great, they will go out of the way to accommodate you. Although the wait can be long, good things come to those who wait!

Tried to get appt for 12yo (ref by pediatrician) Kimberly said she didn't get my message 2d ago, said dr. didn't take our insurances (2) - I said fine, she wouldn't sched appt. I reiterated that insurance thing wasn't a problem. She said "We are a private practice. You're willing to pay $350 out of pocket" I replied "Yes, for my child, and since she was referred to me by pediatrician, but will pay someone else now" Kimberly left vm on mobile 1/2 hr later, not # I called from, but # in my message

Awful unprofessional Environment. Rude staff, wrong prescriptions constantly written. Over booked . If you’re seeking any type of therapeutic experience or help this is not the place to go. It’s no coincidence that there are such low ratings on so many verified platforms.

First of all, it is very likely you will be in the waiting room for at least a half hour before your appointment. When you visit with her, it seems as if she knows exactly what to prescribe you without actually listening to what you have to say about your everyday life - more or less, I would opt for a more caring psychiatrist.

I have read the other reviews. Here is what you need to know. You will wait a long time. No doubt. But I have been coming to Dr. Marshall for many 5 years and she is a caring physician. It's hard to get a physician under my insurance, so I know she is going to be super-busy. If you want to be covered by insurance, there aren't too many choices anymore, and if you go to Dr. Marshall, you will be going to a very good doctor. Bring a book ;)

She is an okay doctor but her staff sucks and her wait times are crazy. Has no sense of time.

She is patient. Doesn't rush you out of her office. Is concerned about you. All in all a pleasant experience.

She ALWAYS runs late, 1/2 hr or more. One time, the receptionists didn't get a chance to eat their lunch and tried to make me leave and come back later for my 2:00 appointment! This office is run inefficiently and the doctor has no concept of time management.

I read the reviews and while my first appointment wasn't bad, my second was a joke. Showed up at 2:30 for a 2:45 appointment. Waited in a hot room without AC. At 2:50, she came out and called someone else. So I asked how far behind she was running. They said there was someone else ahead of me and it would only be 15-20 min. At the ONE HOUR mark, I asked how far she was running behind again as I needed to be somewhere else soon. At this point she came out and called me. Will go to a new doctor.

Very bad office. Went for a first visit waited for almost 2 hours, left the office very upset. Got phone calls from her and decided to give it another shot. Waited another 3 weeks for an appointment, and waited for 30 min, when she called someone else I knew it would be at least another 15 min more. Left the office again without seeing her. Very upset and angry, because I've being trying to get an appointment since March and now is June. I could have tried to see another doctor instead.

Dr. Marshall is not the problem, her staff and her wait times are. She takes far too many patients than she can handle. They schedule appointments and sometimes the doctor isn't here, we can be waiting up to 30 minutes for her to even arrive to the office. For example, I have a 430 appointment. Got here at 4 and its 5 and I still haven't been seen. Her staff know nothing btw. They aren't friendly and God forbid you're withdrawing and need emergency medication.

Dr.Marshall is a highly educated kind hearted wonderful Doctor.I've been seeing her as a for years now and plan on continuing.She is patient and observant/ makes you feel welcomed and comfortable when speaking to her.Dr.marshall is someone I've recommended to my family and friends.I trust her completely.She uses her medical knowledge and history to help with any issue to the best of her ability.A highly skilled and respectable woman.She's helped me become the stable succuesscup adult I am today.
