Adam Jason Waldman

I was referred to Dr. Waldman in 2018 and he was very thorough in his evaluation. We had a few items to put on the “watch” list. He’s so smart, great bedside manner and is a teacher. He’s also tenacious, thankfully, and caught my heart problem before it was too late. I owe him all my extra years. He’s on it!

The office was one of the most disorganized that I have ever experienced. I had difficulty locating the office and when I did the registration area was very crowded. I was asked to give a digital signature to a document that they could not show me until after I signed and they printed it out. After registering I sat down until they called my name and told me to go to a different office on the same floor where I was the only patient waiting. Other patients then came in and were called before me. I complained about the long wait and was given an unsatisfactory answer. Finally, after about one hour following my arrival I got up and walked out without seeing the doctor. My time is as valuable to me as the doctor's time is valuable to him. I am totally disappointed and will look for a different doctor.

Can't get an appointment to see him. Called and was informed by the staff " that I've been discharged from the practice and wasn't even there! "how does that happen?

I had an appointment in June that had been scheduled 6 months ago. I received a call on June 13 2019 saying they were sorry but my appointment had to be cancelled because the Dr would not be at the Downtown office. The schedulers said it would be 2 months before I can be seen.That would be in August. Why is it I would have to wait 6 months for an appointment and be told it has to be cancelled and nothing would be available for another two months. Eight months waiting on an appointment . I truly feel that is excessive to wait that long Under any circumstances. No one was sympathetic to my needs to see the Heart Dr or cared. All she was doing was trying to make an appointment for me regardless of how long it took. Did it seem a bit concerned that I have been waiting 6 month for an appointment and at the last minute call and say sorry we have to cancel your appointment. No concern for my feelings or how upset I was. Even at the front desk it’s the same. Sorry but I have no one here to help you everyone is at lunch It is very frustrating to call for an appointment and be told it will take 3 weeks to get . Very disappointed in how this office handles clients. I have an appointment this coming Tuesday and was told I could call the business office directly to recieve an estimate. I called for 4 days and left 4 messages, and I never received one call back. Finally I was able to get a hold of someone the fourth time after jumping through hoops and calling the appointment line 2 additional times and Orlando Healths main line. I was told I need to call the manufacturer of the event monitor I am scheduled to receive to get a quote from them. Very poor patient service. Edit: I was prescribed a heart monitor and spoke with a manager since I was not able to reach the billing department last time to get an estimate as was offered in my paperwork. I was told the heart monitor would be fully covered with $0 copay. Since I had prior issues with this office's billing department, I called my insurance (BCBS) to double check this information. My insurance informed me that this brand monitor was absolutely not covered and no one from the office had sent pre-authorization to insurance. I would have been responsible for 100% of the bill. I saw Dr Waldman today. He was fantastic and I would highly recommend. All of the staff there were great. I really dislike going to Drs but they made it very easy for me.

Was referred to this group for testing. Staff very friendly, courteous, clinicians explained procedure and side effects and assisted with every step. Dr. Waldman asked questions and made sure I understood. You know you are in good hands. Highly recommend this practice.

You feel comfortable talking to him about whatever your medical trouble is, believe me he will listen, care and is very through in tests, treatment and will figure out what needs to be done. After your tests when you go back for results he will take the time to explain everything making sure you understand. His assistant Michael is also very nice and helpful. If you have had bad experiences like me with Drs in the past, are scared or looking for the best Orlando has to offer go to Dr. Waldman.

Dr. Waldman took care of me after open heart surgery for 18 days. It's been approx 5 years and at 68 years old, still running 5k marathons. Can't say enough.
