I just had my first visit with Dr Summers, and I am truly blown away by how amazing she is! She was very thorough in going through my complete history with me, explaining next steps, and noting all of the other doctors I have seen recently so she can update them on her findings. She was kind, informative, addressed all of my concerns, and looked at the complete picture of my health, beyond what a Rheumatologist would typically consider. It seems like in the past there were challenges with the office staff, which is a shame that lowered her score. This issue seems to be resolved now. Appointment scheduling and reaching them by phone were no issue. The office was well staffed and everyone was helpful. They have a patient portal where you can view test results, request refills, etc. They do blood draws on site and dexa scans as well. Dr Summers and her staff are amazing. I have not felt this good in years. I'm very thankful for all they have done for me.

Dr. Summers is probably one of the most caring and attentive doctors I've ever visited. She has taken the time on multiple occasions to personally call me and discuss treatment, my options, and just ask how I'm doing. She explains her thinking, and I get the sense that she cares about every patient on a personal level. She's an excellent doctor, and very responsive to patient needs. Go somewhere else, in the beginning all are rises but after while you are just $$$ .

I listed on the sign in sheet that I had a change in insurance and name change as I got married- this information was not updated and they billed me six months later for a full cost appt as my insurance would not allow them to bill so late. The other reviews seem to be on point.

I was a patient of Dr. Summers for approximately two years, my complaints are with the way I was treated by her assistant and the office manager. I am a 65 year old woman who was put on methotrexate, after a period of time humira was added to treatment regime, after only three months on humira I developed a small sore inside my mouth which led me to my family physician for a two day supply of oral antibiotics.When I called the doctors assistant Anissa, to make sure I should continue on the humira and methotrexate injections I didn’t get any return call, I also sent an email , and still NO reply! I asked for the office manager and left my name after a voice message came on, asking her the same question. I never received a return call!! So I took my Injections only to find out two or three weeks later that I had a spot on my right lung: it turned out to be a cancerous mass!! I called back and tried to tell the Office manager my situation, ONCE AGAIN SHE IGNORED ME, NO RETURN CALL!!! (I can’t recall the office managers name), but she too has very poor communication skills, along with Anissa Dr. Summers assistant. This took place in early October 2019, on December 12, 2019 I was operated on. The mass was large and 2 lbs of my right lung was removed, I am still healing....and still wondering why a patient wouldn’t get a return call from ANYONE in the office. I am planning to get my records as my healing progresses, and could NEVER in good faith recommend that office. Dr. Summers may be good at what she does but only to a select number of patients. She is awful and does not listen to you. Very dismissive no bedside manner and she asked me to continue medicine that were shutting my kidneys down. So much for all being treated equally. I actually had a great experience with her office staff.

I find dr summers to be very thorough in her work. I have been completely satisfied with her services and find her staff to be warm and caring, and helpful. The phone serve is the same as I find in all Dr's office that I deal with or have dealt with.

She's nice and listens. I put 4 because I may have felt rushed once with her but usually has gone well and her PA is great! The office staff has mostly been great too.

Cast is incredible rude. A nurse once told me to shut up. Very disappointed

They never return phone calls and even ignore messages from other physicians offices for days.

Very disappointed on Dr. Summer and staff. Her lack of respond to a request I made in writing to her made me lose confidence on her ability to take care of my health needs. I ask her to provide me with a letter summarizing my condition. I made follow up call the first two weeks and her assistance kept telling me that they will call me when the letter was ready. I made the point to emphasize that this matter was very important to me and that time was of the essence. By the fourth week I called two times, the assistance didn’t even bother to call me back. I decided, after several years of she been my Rheumatologist, to terminate her services. It does not take weeks to write a letter, this simple act made me doubt her work ethics. I would never recommend this office to anyone! Their scheduling / messaging system is a nightmare. If you are sick, forget it, they won't call you or your PCP back. I ended up in the hospital for a week once because they could not see me in a timely fashion even though I begged in person. On another occasion I was ignored by the scheduling staff and my PCP's office even called 6 times with no call back. Totally unprofessional and uncaring. I lost my 24 yr. old daughter to Lupus and I have it too

If I could rate a 0 stars I would. I have been trying to make appt for 3 weeks now and left many messages. I got a call after 3 days from first message that took my name and address and she said she would get someone to call me back. I left a message a week later and then another after 3 more days had passed. I cannot get anyone to call me back. If it is this difficult to even get an appt I would hate to think of the treatment I would get. I have given up and searching for another doctor as I have been in pain now for 5 months and after a slew of tests by my primary was referred to this Dr Summers. If I could rate a 0 stars I would. If I could rate a 0 star I would. Staff to make appt not calling back after 3 weeks of waiting and I have left multiple messages. In pain moving on to find another doctor as if this hard to even get appt I can't imagine the treatment I would even get.
