Ahmed Raziuddin

It's really zero stars, one seems a bit too generous for Dr. Ahmed Raziuddin and the staff at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Why? For one, it's the way he practices medicine, if you can call it that. He didn't say one word to me the entire time I was in Acute Care after slipping on the ice. Not one! I (mistakenly) went there because I was in such pain Weiss was the nearest hospital. Another thing, I don't know how he can get away with barely lifting a finger during his shift and then towards the end milk the time by just standing around, he left promptly at 7PM. Now 4 days later I'm in excruciating pain and have no idea if he even reset the bones in my ankle right, or what the follow-up care is?? I have this lingering suspicion it was done incorrectly, it just doesn't feel right. Now I have to scurry around and get a 2nd opinion during this Covid crisis. I'm only sorry I didn't take pictures of the way this ward was being run that day and this so-called doctor managing it. So my parting words to anybody reading this, is to avoid this substandard hospital with this *non-communicative doctor and below par staff. I'm only sorry I didn't go to Northwestern...really sorry. But if you're stuck with him please write a letter of complaint (like I'm about to do) so he's no longer practicing here and they can get somebody who actually knows how to do the job! *He's worked at Weiss for over 30 years!!! Yikes! P.S. I eventually went to Northwestern where they had to reset my bones and I ended up having surgery. Glad I followed my gut instinct! This physician allowed a resident to prescribe my mother medication while in the hospital and she's no longer alive.
