Dr. Rosenthal is an outstanding physician. I've had 2 root canals by him and he really listens to the concerns you have. The emergency root canal performed yesterday on a very infected and extremely sore tooth had me very concerned about pain. His technique of injecting novocaine is unlike any other, you don't even feel the needle. He ensures you are comfortable before performing the procedure. Honestly, I felt absolutely nothing during the root canal. I've referred family and friends to him as well and everyone always shares the same sentiments. His assistant; Joanna is so kind, empathetic, and extremely aware of what he needs during the procedure. Very smooth from start to finish. Dr. Rosenthal and the team are the absolute best, I'm very grateful to have been referred to them.

Dr. Rosenthal is an Excellent MD! Zero pain with injections and root canal procedure. Professional approach, explaining all work with details. This is my second root canal with Dr. Rosenthal. All dentists point to his first root canal was done years ago as an excellent job was done at that time.strongly recommend this doctor for those who like myself has a fear and panic of dental pain and for everyone who wants their root canal was done properly!!! I was referred to Dr. Rosenthal for a root canal, and am so thankful I was. When I began experiencing tooth pain, I was anxious and hesitant to get my tooth checked. However, Dr. Rosenthal was amazing, not only in his work, but in his ability to make me feel calm. He reduced my anxiety by explaining the procedure and assuring me that my tooth will be ok. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenthal!

I have just completed the last of 2 dental appointment for oral surgery with Dr. Alan B. Rosenthal. In all of my experiences with the 5 to 10 dentists I’ve seen in my lifetime, I have yet to do business with one who showed so much consideration for the abject fear of dentists I have. There are a minority of people like myself who have a deathly fear of dentists, probably as a result of a bad childhood experience in a dentist’s chair, and no amount of logical reasoning seem to alter the fear. Anyway, I found Dr. Rosenthal and his staff to be very considerate and understanding of this fear and I would highly recommend him for anyone else with the same problem!

I have been going to Dr. Rosenthal for over 20 years. I even travel over 2 hours to see him. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, gentle and friendly. What more can you ask for in a doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenthal.

The dentist was gentle, however the office billed for services not performed.

I cannot extol the virtues of Dr Rosenthal when it comes to carrying out his profession in the best way possible. He is gentle, thorough and the patient doesn’t feel any pain whatsoever.

AWFUL experience!!!! Receptionist told me they accept my insurance, scheduled my appointment, when I arrived she took my insurance card, made me sign some forms, and told me to wait for the dentist. After ONE HOUR I was told they don’t accept my insurance!!!! I have never been treated this way before! Waste of my time!

Office staff rude and clueless....UNREAL!!!

I've had multiple awful experiences with Rosenthal. I won't be returning and wonder if his good reviews were planted by his staff. I've seen him 4 times - had to wait 45+ min every time. Longest was 1.5 hours. I've been trying to get the same tooth fixed for the past year and am still feeling pain. He did not fix the tooth and kept saying he "doesn't know what could be wrong". Hard to schedule appts, rude staff, long waits, he billed for a consultation and is not knowledgeable. Wasted $. AVOID!

Total SCAM artist. Tried to do totally unnecessary surgery (pull teeth and put in implants) for over $5k when all I needed was a root canal that cost me $300. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

Was referred to this office by my regular dentist. Dentist had noticed some unfinished work (root canal) completed by an out of state dentist some time back. Had had no issues till I went in for a regular check and was referred to this office. Was kept waiting for 45 minutes. The doctor came in, drilled; and I think filled up the tooth with some instructions about chewing, pain management etc for the next couple of days. 4 weeks. Tooth has a hole. Can't eat. Pain. Getting a new dentist.

I am absolutely terrified of any and all dental work. I didn't even realize I was going to be getting the root canal on my first visit and Dr. Rosenthal could tell I was panic-stricken. He did everything he could to make the process as painless as possible. He was gentle, explained what he needed to do as he did it, and reassured me along the way. I never recommend a root canal, but if you have to have one, Dr. Rosenthal is the way to go!
