Dr. Ali Mosharrafa is an excellent plastic surgeon. His first concern is his patient. I never felt rushed or embarrassed to talk to him about anything along the road of my breast reconstruction post breast cancer and chemotherapy this past year. Surgery is never a fun experience. But it does make it easier when you have a doctor you trust, and who genuinely cares about their patients. I had some concerns after my surgery and I was able to speak directly to Dr. Mosharrafa on a Sunday. He always takes his time to not only explain and answer questions, he listens. He makes sure your appointment never feels rushed. He knows surgery is a big decision and I never felt pressured, but he asked honest and direct questions, to make sure I was not only physically but mentally prepared for the surgery. Run, Run, Run very far away as fast as you can. This man is less than a human being. He was verbally abusive and unprofessional. I had a bilateral mastectomy d/t cancer. I had infections within the first 6 days which required a debridement. I had infection after infection after infection which he repeatedly ignored. I sought treatment in ER because I had a obvious infection, the ER physician called this surgeon and he proceeded to tell the ER doctor that I had mental health issues and caused this myself. Therefore the ER doc refused to treat me. Two days later I see this surgeon and he starts yelling at me for seeking treatment in the ER. He yanked out my sutures despite the active infection. All the while yelling at me and proceeds to dismiss me from the practice. He was extremely aggressive while pulling out my sutures. 48 hrs later my chest split open. I was eventually admitted to the hospital,after finding another surgeon. I was in the hospital for 12 days, 3 of them in the ICU, with wound vacs and 3 additional surgeries. They were unable to close my chest and I had to have a latissimus muscle grafts. (They took the biggest muscle out of my back and tunnel it under my armpit into my chest) I'm now permanently deformed with side appendages lumps, bumps and scars armpit to armpit and 2.5 feet across my back. There was so much tissue damage from all the infections that I am no longer a candidate for reconstruction. I have read other reviews of this doctor and other women reported similar experiences of his rage, bullying, and accusing them of being mentally unstable when they have challenged him. I could not have asked for a better experience than I had with Dr. Mosharrafa and his staff. His warm compassionate manner put me at ease as I approached the scary thought of breast cancer treated with double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. He explained everything, answered all of my questions and provided contact information for me to use when additional questions came up. I always felt like I was the most important person he was talking to when he was with me. Everyone in the office was on the same page. I knew what to expect, what restrictions to follow for the best outcome and when and who to call for assistance. Absolutely the worst surgeon the harrier his reviews must be fake

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and after my double mastectomy I opted for breast reconstruction. Dr. Ali Mosharrafa was there every step of the way, giving me the information I needed to make decisions regarding my care. He was very honest about managing my expectations and supporting whatever I decided. He worked closely with the breast surgeon so I could make the most informed decisions. His staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and make this process as easy as possible.

I was going to consult with at least three surgeons before deciding who would perform my breast implant exchange. After having my first set of size C implants for the past 24 years, age and shifting body weight made me want to go smaller. I knew after meeting and speaking with Dr Ali, that I had met "the one". He took so much time with me at that initial visit; and every visit thereafter. With his guidance I added a breast lift and so glad that I did. I am six weeks post op and love the result. Dr Ali's sincerity and bedside manner made me feel like I was his only patient! If I have the need for any further cosmetic procedures (because never say never, right?), I will return to him. I am a 30-year-old male to female transsexual. I was ready to take that next step in my transition by getting breast surgery. I was referred to dr. Mosharrafa by two very close friends of mine. My first consultation with him was very pleasing and professional. In fact, after hearing the recommendations from my two friends and meeting him, I did not have to shop around for another surgeon. I am 58 yrs old, and recently relocated to Arizona from Oregon. Eating well and moving my body regularly couldn’t compete with gravity, and I found myself with what I call “a belly slide.” In Oregon I could hide it behind fleece jackets and sweaters for more than half the yr., but here in the Valley of the Sun, that’s impossible. I didn’t like the way I looked on the golf course or poolside. I decided to gather information on tummy tucks. I spent 6 mos gathering information and consulting with several plastic surgeons in the greater Phoenix area (which included surgeons affiliated with valley hospitals). I am so glad I did, because Dr. Ali Mosharrafa stood out above the others, hands down. From the initial consultation to my post-op office visits, Dr. Ali has treated me with the utmost respect, gentleness, and attentiveness. Intellectually I know he sees many patients every day, but when he’s with me, I feel like I’m the only one on his schedule. His nursing staff and anesthesiologist (Dr. H. Cavanagh) put me at ease the morning of my surgery. The operating suite is on point, and beautiful. The next thing I knew, I was being wheeled into post-op recovery. That was twelve weeks ago. I choose Dr. Ali Mosharrafa to perform reconstructive breast surgery after a bi-lateral mastectomy as a result of breast cancer. I wanted to come back to my thread in just a 2 week time frame and change my review to 10 Stars!! When I posted my comments 2 weeks ago, I was at 2 years of frustration. I had addressed my concerns early on with Dr. Tamir, but never re-visited them with Dr. Tamir, which was unfair to him. I did not know these were issues that Dr. Tamir Mosharrafa could revise. He and his office administrator both called me, and we very kind and really wanted to help me. They got me appointed for a consult in less than a week and also rearranged their surgery schedule to get me scheduled for surgery 3 days later!! I can still start my new job on time! Now that's stellar service!! I just had surgery today, and their surgical facility is state of the art and has its own fantastic team, who took great care of me today! I can already see a dramatic difference and I can breath a little better. I really underestimated the Mosharrafa team.There are not many fantastic customer service experiences these days, as we all know, but they are definitely on top of it!! My experience with Dr. Mosharrafa and all the staff at the office was wonderful! I had breast augmentation done 2.5 years ago and my left implant ended up deflating. I did my research on this site and decided to drive out from LA to Phoenix and SO happy I did! Amanda was amazing to work with from the start being that I dont even live in Phoenix. Professional, honest, and exceptional in his chosen career. I had lip augmentation (upper lip only) with PermaLip 5mm. Dr. Ali Mosharrafa ensured my safety and comfort by walking step by step through the process prior as well as during the procedure. He truly knows his capabilities and his work speaks for itself. Dr. Ali Mosharrafa is an amazing plastic surgeon. I was rushed for time to get a breast argumentation done due to job transitions and his practice was able to fit me in a week after my consultation. All of his staff (nurses, anesthesiologist) took great care of me. This was my first time getting any type of surgery done and I was nervous going into it. Dr. Tamir Mosharafa did a great job on my breast reconstruction surgery when I had my bilateral mastectomy. I'm very thankful to have a great doctor also the staff and front office girls are wonderful and sweet.

Unfortunately my experience with Dr Ali Mosharrafa was not as pleasant. I had gone to him back around 2005 and then again in 2016. 2005 was a great experience but when I cam back in 2016 Dr Ali was very impatient, Curt and I felt rushed every time I saw him. I had tohave my rhinoplasty redone within 2 months because he didn't do half of what we talked about. Now after a year I have to pay someione else to fix his work. I trusted him and am not happy with the work he has done. He doesn't care.

I had a breast reduction in February and I feel so amazing. My back, shoulder and neck pain were gone the day of surgery. From the time I met Dr Ali I felt comfortable. I had met with other surgeons and just didn't feel it but I knew he'd be my surgeon. The day of surgery he made me feel so at ease. After surgery, anytime I was concerned he was there to talk to me. He did a fantastic job, and all through until the end he was involved personally. He's amazing and so is all the staff.

I'm so pleased with my visit to Dr. Mosharrafa and the surgery following. I wanted a little "touch up" and he was perfect at setting my expectations and making suggestions or alternatives. Talk about life changing results! Loved the work, staff, clean & profesional surgery center and Dr. Mosharrafa. His bedside manner and responsivess was superb! I've recently lost 85 pounds and was not happy with what the weight loss had done to my breast. After meeting Dr. Mosharrafa, I knew he wasn't the surgeon for me. Scheduled my surgery that same day for a few weeks later. Became a new women within a matter of days! Came in for a breast lift and left feeling 20 years younger.

After my wonderful experience, pre and post-op facelift with Dr. Mosharrafa, it was clear to me why he consistently rates so highly in publications and on websites. He is caring and highly skilled, achieving impressive results..When I called about sudden increased pain on my 3rd night post-op, he met me 15 min. later at his surg. ctr. to evaluate me.He also had his surgical team on call in case I needed a surgical intervention, which fortunately wasn't needed. Dr Mosharrafa started breast reconstruction on me June 2015. I had my implants inserted along with a tummy tuck Nov.2015. So we have had a long journey together. I am very happy with my results.
