Dr. Allan M Wachter

Called to make an appointment, was told I would get a call back in 30 min. Sat for hour waiting without a call. Guess they are not really too concerned with responding to people, will go to someone who wants my business.

I didn't have a good experience with Dr. Wachter. I went to visit Dr. Wachter because I breaking out in hives and face swelling. He saw me only once. When the treatment didn't work, he had someone call me and say "go to the Mayo Clinic". Dr. Wachter didn't try to help me anymore. It almost seem like Dr. Wachter didn't care. I found another doctor at Allergy Associates & Asthma Tempe location, Dr. Roy. She was incredible. Unlike Dr. Wachter who dismissed me. Dr. Roy actually help. She identify my allergy. Dr. Wachter is the best doctor I have ever emcountered. Highly competent, extremely caring and overall knowledgeable in his field. I wish all doctors were like him. My highest praise.

I've been a patient of Dr. Wachter for almost two decades. He is a warm, caring professional who listens to his patients. If he does not have a ready answer about, e.g., a new treatment, he will look it up at once on his phone.

Nice and competent doctor. But as a long term patient, I couldn’t get in too see him for an acute allergic reaction. Maybe it’s the office staff that needs coaching. So not a practice you can count on. I’d search elsewhere.

A Five Star rating does not do justice to this exceptional physician. I have been a patient of Dr. Wachter's for many years. He has been a True God Send. He genuinely cares about his patients and this is extremely obvious. Being a Mount Sinai NYC Medical School graduate he takes pride in focusing on cutting edge technologies and medicine. He will take the time to explain to you the best options available and why. Takes his time?......Really?.....They don't make doctors like him anymore. So if you are looking for a caring doctor who will treat you like a patient and not just a chart, I strongly suggest that you make an appointment with Dr Allan Wachter. Dr. Wachter has been my doctor for over 25 years! He is one of the absolute best doctors I've ever had the honor of knowing and being treated by. Dr. Wachter consistently goes above and beyond for his patients. He has saved my life on several occasions and I absolutely trust him unconditionally. He is the most compassionate doctor I know. He is extremely well versed in all things asthma and immunology and has given talks, written papers and done research for other healthcare providers. I have been seeing Allan Wachter for 30 years. He is one of the kindest, most compassionate human beings on this planet. With unparalleled medical and scientific skills, he has saved not only my life, but that of friends and colleagues I have referred to him. I've bern a patient for 15 years since moving to AZ. Dr Wachter was highly recommended to me and I'm very pleased with his practice. I have been going to Dr. Wachter for years. He has always been very caring and helpful. I went from barely being able to breathe without wheezing to no issues. He worked with me to find and balance the best medications/treatments to get me into great shape.

Dr. Wachter is the most conscientious, competent, experienced and trustworthy doctor I've known. He has an excellent demeanor, is extremely knowledgeable in his field and serves as speaker and consultant to various immunology organizations. I personally can't think of a more qualified doctor or anyone else I'd rather have as a resource and allergist.
