Since moving to Ooltewah, Tennessee in August 2016 from Dunlap, my wife was insistent that I find a family physician to watch my health....at the time, I was 62 and needed one doctors visit in 40 years.. for bulging disc surgery in 1995. My wife uses CHI mediccal group, Dr. Kent Grotenfendt, but he was not taking new patients. So, Dr. Sherwood was for me! And I'm glad I did! Not only is he very attentive, he listens and discusses your health issues like a family doctor in the 1960's! Has kept me relatively healthy, haven't quit smoking yet, and his staff is very friendly! Great doctor. We travel from north Hixson to see him. Very good bedside manner. Addresses our concerns promptly.

After he treated my husband for emergency, I felt I could benefit from his expertise. He is very thorough and asks pertinent questions. He seems concerned for my well being.

My husband and I both see Dr. Sherwood. We love him. Seems very thorough, goes over everything. He's super nice and even funny ????

He is the best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of meeting he works with you and does not belittle you or make you feel bad. He tells you the truth and is great about it.
