Dr. Amy Marie Jackson

In my experience with Dr. Jackson, she's been extremely personable and has a very good bedside manner. However, over several years, I assess Dr. Jackson as more of a referral specialist than a treatment doctor. Personally, I desire a doctor who's forthcoming with their hypotheses and attempts to extract the necessary information for them to formulate a feasible diagnosis. A doctor who is intellectually driven to figure these things out. Dr. Jackson's M.O. seems to be, "listen carefully so you can make a referral as quickly as possible." In some cases, obviously, this is absolutely the way to go, but this seems to be a ubiquitous pattern. In addition, her provider referrals for me have been far more "miss" than "hit," and seem to hinge NOT on the competence of the doctor, but on their affiliation with Orlando Health. That may be a requirement of OH doctors, but it's counter principles for "best care."

Dr Jackson and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They are professional and caring. Dr Jackson took the time and listened to the issues i was having and discussed all the options with me. I use to see Dr Jackson. She seemed ok, however I complain to her about a breathing issue that I had been having and that I didn’t know what it was. I asked her what can she do to get to the root of my problem. She simply said “oh I don’t know what that could be”. I was a little younger at the time, so I didn’t realize that a good doctor would have referred me to I specialist dealing with matters in breathing. Now that I am older I know what to expect from a doctor who literally has my life in there hands. What if something happened to me? I have been seeing Dr. Jackson for probably 7 years. Although she is nice enough I have always had problems with her office staff. Now they say that because we retired and I have the SAME INSURANCE POLICY through Aetna except it's through COBRA she will no longer see me. My mother, myself and my daughter have gone to Dr. Jackson for 10+ years. She is thorough, professional, and has always followed up with needed information. She even called me directly on a few occasions. She referred me to a Hematologist who addressed my anemia immediately and I feel like a new person. She has addressed many of my health concerns. She took time and gave my teen privacy to discuss personal matters. I have been a nurse for 9 years and I would recommend Dr. Jackson above any family practice physician. I am surprised by some of the other bad reviews. I don’t believe this is the norm based on my family’s and my personal experiences throughout the years. She takes the time to talk with you. Always willing to refer you to specialist

She listens. She cares. Office responds to messages promptly. I am picky about medical care and she delivers.

I have been going to Dr. Jackson for over 13 years. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. They are wonderful caring and professional. I cannot speak to the bad reviews as I have never had a bad experience in all these years. Dr. Jackson always takes her time, I’m never rushed, she always listens and takes my needs into consideration. She even does my well woman exams which is a bonus. My husband and I love Dr. Jackson and will continue to go to her. Please give her a chance before taking those other bad reviews into consideration. I've been seeing Dr Jackson for many years now. Very personable, tentative and thorough to my needs.

Dr. Amy Jackson is the best Doctor I have have ever seen hands down. She talks to me like a friend and is very good about ask follow questions. I recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone seeking a Great Doctor.

Dr. Jackson is a great Dr. , she listens to her patients and includes us in our treatment. She explains and she doesn't rush out.

If I could give -10 stars I would, but 1 will do. This one goes out to the office manager, who can’t even handle a patient’s argument with billing and coding, who couldn’t give a legitimate explanation why I never received a reply back from the phone calls I made to get results from my lab work done sept. 28. The office manager who LAUGHED as she walked away saying, “I check my voicemails everyday.” Irrelevant to the argument princess, how about have you or your staff call your patients once results are received to go over them, and you wouldn’t have voicemails regarding that to begin with. This review also goes out to the three office staff, who can’t seem to find time in their busy schedule, to update your information but expect you to fill out the changes on the forms you’re required to fill out yearly at this office. So why do you expect me to write it all down, if you’re not even going to use the information to keep your database accurate. Dr Jackson is a very nice caring individual, but the cover charge is way out of range, between no return calls, no one answers calls during business hours ever! And they have 3 staff members! And you want to be immature and laugh at your paying customer! Please I dare you to call me like you said you would, but since you never do, I hope you read this: your office is full of trivial children, who need to find a more unsociable profession where they don’t care for the well-being of humans... ❤️???? I'm giving a 3 star for Dr Jackson's work, she is a great Doctor. But a great Doctor is not enough to run an office and whoever is at the front desk handling calls does not know how to provide a good patient care. I called and somebody placed me on hold for 25 min then I could hear somebody picking up the line and hung up. I called back stating that I needed to speak about my Lab results and told them that placing me on hold for 25 min then hung up on me was not acceptable, whoever spoke to me raised her tone with me explaining that only one person was handling the calls at the time, That was not an appropriate excuse but I was fine with it, it is the tone she took with me that was not good. Customer Care advice: if a patient is not happy about a situation listen to the patient, don't take it personally and get all worked up about it. If you don't like working with patients, just change of career. I'm giving a 3 star for Dr Jackson's work, she is a great Doctor. I love her and her stuff. She takes her time with you and listern. Never feel like I'm rush either.

Excellent Caring Doctor. Spent lots of time reviewing my medical concerns and took time to answer all my questions. Her nurse was great, caring and friendly.

Dr. Jackson is an excellent caring doctor. She took a significant time to review my case and made sure I understood what she said and gave me the time for follow-up questions. I have several family member who also now see her. I would recommend her to my family and friends. As far as her staff as I have seen other reviews and Ionly experienced professionalism. Her nurse was excellent, caring and friendly.

Terrible time getting an appointment with this office. The doctor is always booked with just a few appointments, works part time, doesn't take walk ins, cancels.

Absolutely the worst managed office I have every visited. Unfortunate for Dr. Jackson, who is great, My whole family were under her care for years. Since Orlando Health took over, the office has become unbearable. Appointments are impossible to make, the receptionist is completely useless. They are booked out Months in advance, there is no option of getting care when you need it, and if by chance you were able to make an appointment and were a few minutes late! When I first started going to this office I saw Dr. Jackson and absolutely refused to go anywhere else. I ended up moving out of state and when I came back Dr. K had joined the office. When calling to make my first appointment upon moving back I was asked if I had a preference and said no which was a HUGE mistake. Dr. K is the WORST doctor I have ever had contact with. The first time I went in it was for a routine physical and she had the receptionist give me a referral for a dermatologist on suspicion of skin cancer yet during her exam said absolutely nothing to me about it. Then I went in a second time because of the flu (just seemed after three weeks maybe I should get checked out) and her solution was to tell me to exercise. I then came back once more (this time making someone come back with me) to get a blood pressure and EKG check up to which she was convinced (and tried to convince me) that there was something terribly wrong with my heart. After giving the results of the same EKG to a different doctor I was told that not only was nothing wrong with my heart at all but that Dr. K had obviously read the results wrong. I myself will never go back to this office because not only is Dr. K a joke but it's like the people running the front desk don't have any brains!!!!! I got a call about needing my insurance info 3 times in ten minutes from the same person and also had to give the info when I set up my appointment. Honestly if Dr Jackson went back into business by herself and fired her office staff I would be happy to see her but dealing with all of the others is not worth the time, money, or stress. Dr Jackson is the absolute best! She is caring, she listens, and she is extremely knowledgeable. I trust her with my whole family. There is none better!!

My husband and I have been going to Dr Jackson and Dr Kuriakose for years and we can't be happier with these 2 physicians!!! They are as compassionate as much as they are knowledgeable which is 100% !!! They are very thorough and respectful. I would give them 10 stars if it were available!

I was switched to Maguire Family because of insurance. I was a bit upset until I went there. I LOVE this place. I see Dr.Suvy Kuriokose and she is a knowledgeable young lady with a warm personality, very easy to talk to and addresses every issue. Unfortunately I have moved but I do recommend my friends and family to this office. It is refreshing to have these young doctors. I don't know who the other people who put reviews here went to, but it's not the place I have been going to for years. My whole family goes to Dr Jackson. The staff is beyond friendly and Dr Jackson is the most competent, caring, and kind doctor one can have. If you listen to the other reviews then you will be following extremely bad advice in my opinion. Dr Jackson literally saved my daughter-in-law's life. God bless you Dr Jackson! The receptionist is RUDE! RUDE is an understatement! I am amazed how she still has her job!

Office has zero compassion. Consistently rude. Staff obviously hate their jobs and working with people. Surprised more patients haven't died from the staffs lack concern.
