Why aren't fax numbers prominently placed so physicians can properly send referrals without having to call and spend hours on hold?

I’ve experienced pain for over a year. Haven’t gotten to the root of the problem yet keep getting prescribed antibiotics that make it worse

The clerks needs imporvement in terms of communication other than that my surgery with Dr D'Angelo went well. During the initial consultation he took the time I needed to answer any questions, explained the procedure, the different wait and which one he is going to do. I was well informed before but In the other case I would really appreaciate all the information. The day of the procedure, same filling with Dr D'Angelo and the nurse the process and the hidding cost. I would probably pick again Dr D'angelo if I need an urologist. This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Even his nurses would agree with me. One nurse recommended I go to a different urologist.

He is fantastic! Really takes time to explain everything. We would highly recommend him! Wonderful bedside manner.

Dr D'Angelo is fantastic. Highly recommended. I always think worst case scenario and he put me at ease and made me feel more relaxed. Always explains things thoroughly. A credit to his profession.

Note it was Dr. Sea not Dr. D. So, You get referred here when you're in alot of pain. You think they'll get to the bottom of it. A quick visual exam and a diagnosis. No imaging of any kind. Just his opinion. You get antibiotics for a month, they dont work. Dont help at all. You get another month of a stronger rx Why didnt we start with the stronger ??? Still. Another month and no relief. No results. Finally another referral. They do imaging and are suprised this guy was so wrong. Dr.D'angelo has been seeing my husband for over a year.My husband was looking for a Doctor who explained things in a layman's term and he finally found one.Having the Urolift Friday and can't wait.Dr.D'angelo is a wonderful and caring Doctor.

Prostate Cancer was discovered thru PSA. After deciding to have the prostate removed I went to 3 different doctors including 1 at the Moffitt Cancer Center. After consulting with all 3 I chose Dr. D'Angelo for his expertise in robotic surgery. On October 14th he did a nerve sparing prostatectomy. Surgery went well and I experienced no urinary incontinence. He is a caring doctor and takes his time to explain everything and will answer all your questions. Would reccomend him highly. I had a 9mm kidney stone in the ER removed by him, and a stent placed last week, and this is by far the most comfortable stent I have ever had in me. I’ve had 5 others, one on the left side just last yr, and they all hurt tremendously until they were removed, and it backed up massive amounts of blood clots. He was a fine doctor. However, it is impossible to get an email or phone call back. I have tried for several weeks. They don’t return calls and Orlando Urology does not have a published email address. I finally called the main number for Orlando Health and eventually talked to a concerned lady who listened to my problem, apologized and found Dr. D’angelo in her directory. She connected me to another nice lady who assured me my prescription would be filled. It’s now been 5 days and Optum has cancelled. The bottom line, I saw my general practitioner and she will fill it. By the way, I’m not due for another Dr. D’angelo appointment for 5 months. I also drove 25 miles one way and weren’t able to have my appointment. Once he was just hours late. Once their office computer was down. Once he had an emergency. So, Dr. D’angelo was very good but the general office procedures are horrendous. My opinion....

The good Dr. tried just about everything to find what is going on with my medical condition(s), but in the end, he could not find out the root cause(s) of the conditions. A+ for trying!

Amazing doctor! Excellent experience! He did the surgery to remove a huge cyst in my kidney by laparoscopy! He was super competent and precise! I am super grateful to him and his team!

Dr D'Angelo treated me successfully for Bladder Cancer May 1, 2003. Still keep going to him. Dr he never talks down to you explains everything in plain English.

Dr. D'Angelo saved my kidney when another Dr. told me for two years I had kidney cancer. I did not have kidney cancer just a mass getting larger by the day. I want to know how to get in touch with him. HE IS THE BEST!!!

Excellent care! Very gentle and caring doctor with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend Dr Michael D'Angelo for all your urology needs. Sure was a relief to be find him. A true blessing.

Dr.D'Angelo is the most knowledgeable and caring specialists I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. His good humor and deep care for the betterment of his patients puts him in a league of his own. He has completed two minor procedures for me in his office and made me laugh while sticking needles in me. Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. I cannot recommend Dr.D enough.

I cannot speak more highly of Dr. D’Angelo. I have never had a doctor care so much, and has been excellent dealing with kidney stones. He was so patient explaining every detail, and option. Most doctors are in such a hurry, but I never once felt that as he explained each option with me. I highly recommend him and so thankful I got into him to help me with kidney stones.

Horrible experience. Said cancer was not a spreading cancer...if we don't do anything for 6 months, you will be ok. Thank GOD I got a 2nd opinion. Stage 4 & spread to lymph nodes. He gave me 3 different diagnoses...none were right.

The short story, Dr. D'Angelo saved my life. It started out as prostrate cancer but was so aggressive it blew through the prostrate wall and reached the lymph nodes (anyone who knows cancer knows you do not want cancer/lymph nodes in the same sentence). My scheduled surgery was deemed unnecessary as the cancer was to aggressive and had spread to far. Dr. D'Angelo refused to accept this and contacted a colleague at the Mayo Clinic in Minn. after they reviewed my cancer/health they concurred that Dr. D'Angelo should attempt a radical surgery of the prostrate. The surgery was a success, that was nearly 2 years ago and I am still here. I am not out of the woods yet but my PSA level is still undetectable. Dr. D'Angelo was unable to arrive at an acceptable working position when Advent Health acquired Heart of Florida, my wife and I miss having him as my Dr., he had the best compassion and bedside manner of any Dr. that I have ever had. I feel the Lord put him there in my time of need.

Dr. D'Angelo is first rate. He has been our doctor for a few years. We were informed on December 26th by Advent Health (Heart of Florida) that another doctor took over his practice. No one at Advent will give us information where his new office is outside of saying it is in Orlando. Does anyone know where he is located? Searches keep going back to practice in Davenport. We will travel to see him. He is worth the time and effort.

Outstanding and down to Earth as he has a great patient care procedure. Granted with him taking time to cover the details it is worth sometimes being behind. He expresses concern to each patient like me I will overlook a delay. I will continue to follow him with his new venture.

Attended to my emergency needs as consultant for the ER and did a marvelous job with his professionalism and accomodating manner..I can confidently recommend this doctor without reservation. Only wish he lived in Ga., my home state and some 10hrs drive away...the only thing keeping me from changing doctors...

Excellent doctor, highly recommend. Takes time to discuss your issues and recommends follow ups to other doctors if he notes other issues. His staff sets up your appointments so waiting time is at a minimum. A visit with him is like a visit with a caring friend. Highly recommend this doctor!

Had an appointment for 2:30 p.m. . At 4 :10 p.m. I was still waiting. I ask the receptionist for a refund of my co-pay. She checked with the Nurse's station and was told they had misplaced my paperwork. The receptionist asked if I would like to reschedule my Appt. I declined and will never be back

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer! I was lucky to find Dr. D'Angelo. He is a caring professional. He will spend as much time as needed with you to explain your individual concerns and how to tackle the problem. He gave me options to consider. I am 74 years old and I decided to have the prostate gland removed. His expertise in robotic surgery is exceptional. I need to say one of the problems with removal of the gland is incontinence. I am here to say I NEVER experienced any. He performed an excellent procedure in sparing the nerves. I was playing golf again after six weeks and feeling great. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer! Dr D'Angelo is an awesome Dr. He is very professional excellent at explaining treatment options. Great bedside manner. Does not rush through your appointment . He is genuinely caring. Dr. D’Angelo likely saved my life. I was severely septic with infection above an obstructing stone in the ureter.Aftet 20 hours of sepsis heading toward shock the hospitality finally called Dr D’Angelo. I highly recommend Dr. D'Angelo. He cares about my situation. He provides me the best option to deal with my prostate cancer. I am healthy and active since I was found prostate cancer two years ago. He spends time to listen to my situaton. He then explains to me patiently. He is one of the best urologists in my opinion.

Dr D Angelo helped me cancer free 14 years, neo bladder with conduit. Perfect very caring Dr, surgery was perfect no radiation or kemp required last visit to him was Jan 25, 2017

BETTER LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW, IT IS YOUR LIFE!!!!! I AM A 70 YEAR OLD WOMAN WHO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE ONE BLADDER CANCER AT AGE 68. I FOUND DR D'ANGELO READING THESE PROFILES, HE REMOVED MY TUMOR AND WAS TOLD I COULD HAVE REOCCURRENCES FOR FOUR YEARS. EVERY THREE MONTHS I WENT FOR A CYSTOSCOPE.NOW TWO YEARS LATER I HAVE ANOTHER COMPLICATION. A WEEK PRIOR TO MY APPT I GET A VOICEMAIL SAYING MY APPOINTMENT IS CANCELLED AND DR D'ANGELO HAS LEFT HIS PRACTICE, I NEED TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.......

Dr D'Angelo performed biopsies on me which were unwarranted and caused me to have implant surgery to correct the damage done to me. Since then I have had to deal with inconstancy.

Dr. D'Angelo is one of the best doctor's I've had the pleasure of knowing. He's incredibly professional, takes time to listen, and really helped me step through my issue with patience and understanding. I'm so thankful that he told me not to have any operations (as so many Doctors these days want to put you under!). I was able to work with him to find a solution, in fact, I was able to do it without medication (although he will definitely give you if he thinks you should try it). Thank you!!
