Dr. Merkin is an excellent doctor. He listens to you and takes the time to explain things, unlike many other doctors these days. He makes me feel comfortable and cares. When I had my first appointment with him, I told him about some of the things I'd gone through. I was crying and noticed that he too was wiping tears from his own eyes. It made such an impression on me and showed me that some doctors really do care about their patients. Thank you Dr. Merkin!

He is so friendly and takes extra time to talk to patients and families

He always has time for questions. He actually answers his own phone after hours.
