Dr. Berlando has been my doctor for 6 years now and I love coming to him. He’s always gentle and careful and is always asking you the right amount of questions. I’ve been seeing Dr Berlando 22 years now mostly annual physical, no complaints he’s pretty thorough

I’ve Been Seeing Dr. Berlando For About 4/5 Years. Just From Dealing With Other Doctors , I Appreciate Him For Actually Caring About His Patients. If He Can’t Help Me With A Issue I’m Having He Sends Me To A Specialist/Doctor He Trusts To Help. He Has Personally Saved Me From A Major Health Issue, Possibly Life Threatening At That. & Took Time Out Of His Day To Help Find A Doctor On A Friday When It Seemed Like Everyone Was Out Golfing To See Me For An Emergency Surgery. If I Can’t Trust Anyone To Give Me Honest Input On My Health Its Him. I have been a patient of Dr. Berlando's for years. My normal visits are once a year for my physical and maybe a head cold here and there. Through the years, he has always been very detailed in his care of me. He has shown to stay on top of any issues that could possibly be presented, taken into consideration my family's prior health history. Most recently, I was under his care and he personally called and checked on me daily, ensuring I was on the right course to recovery. If you are wanting a doctor that truly cares about you and really has your best interest at heart, Dr. Berlando would make an excellent PCP. I have been a patient of Dr. Berlando's for years. I have been a patient of Dr. Berlando's for years. My normal visits are once a year for my physical and maybe a head cold here and there. Through the years, he has always been very detailed in his care of me. He has shown to stay on top of any issues that could possibly be presented, taken into consideration my family's prior health history. Most recently, I was under his care and he personally called and checked on me daily, ensuring I was on the right course to recovery. If you are wanting a doctor that truly cares about you and really has your best interest at heart, Dr. Berlando would make an excellent PCP.

Be wary of overbilling!!!! Dr. Burlando has been my doctor for over 15 + years. My children go there now. So I was surprised when I went to my annual well visit checkup, which they scheduled for me, I was not sick! (free of charge). This is covered 100 percent with my insurance, that they are billing me and the Dr and office will not correct it, now the bill is in collections. I feel very betrayed for this mishap, after we have been loyal patients of his after all this time! So much for customer service!

Petty,I told him I would be changing PCPs this yr,then got mail saying he would be dropping me as a patient...Juvenile(you can't quit us;we quit you).I'll update you later on why I chose to leave.

Dr. Berlando himself is very nice and knows his medicine but his billing department or lack of does NOT know what they are doing. My insurance company went to a zero copay and 100% PCP coverage yet the lady at check out was telling me that I owed $158 for a flu visit. I knew this was not accurate but I was feeling horrible and thought I would deal with this later. I called up BCBS the next day and they confirmed that what they did was not accurate at all. Now I am not sure if the lady just got some wrong information or misunderstood how benefits work so I am giving her the benefit of the doubt. I just hope for their sake, they aren't cheating patients out of their money for their gain. My explanation of benefits has it clear as day "Primary Care Provider Covered at 100%" no copays, no deductible. When I called them to get this situated, they had me a long hold and told me they would have to contact BCBS but because they are very busy, they were not sure when they would have it resolved? So quick to take my money for services rendered but not so quick to own up to a mistake they made. I will keep calling this office until I get my money back and I am no so sure I will keep Dr. Berlando as my PCP due to this incident. Dr. Berlando is very thorough, thoughtful, and never in a rush. I wouldn’t go to any other doctor in Texas!

Dr. Berlando was my doctor from about 1992 until 2017. He was always a very good doctor. The only reason I gave him a lower grade is because when I turned 65 I found out he kicks medicare patients to the curb. After 2 years I have still be unable to find a good, permanent doctor for my medicare years. I have found that many doctors will not take new patients over 65. I would just urge anyone over 60 to find a doctor who will not stop treating you when you turn 65. If you wait, its too late.

Dr. Berlando is a way phenomenal doctor. Very thorough, thoughtful, and caring. I wouldn’t go to any other doctor in Texas!

Been coming to this clinic for years for annual check ups mostly, but will be changing for my next visit. The clinic is very outdated and the equipment much older, he's been using the same inaccurate EKG machine for years and that's simply not acceptable. The staff is friendly but many changes need to happen for clinic to improve.

He has been our family Dr. for as long as I can remember! He is very nice and comforting in his appointments. He does like to send his patients off to specialists though.

He never treats anything. You're always sent to one of his specialist buddies.

Dr. Berlando has always been upfront and honest with me about any questions or issues that have come up since I started seeing him 1 1/2 years ago. Staff is very friendly and the wait time is excellent when compared to other doctors I have seen previously. Highly recommended.

I went to see this dr about estrogen replacement and issues regarding my insomnia. He did an ekg on me and checked my pulmonary functions! I am in excellent health and workout five times a week, so these tests were completely unwarranted. He then proceeded to tell me he doesn't prescribe hormones or deal with insomnia! Family practitioners actually DO deal with those areas of medicine. He was shockingly arrogant. Totally incompetent to deal with my medical issues.

I've been seeing Dr. Berlando for years now. I've always liked him except that he wants to send you to a specialist for all kind of things. This gets very expensive for no results. But I went for a physical in October. Physicals are covered by my insurance 100%. I explained to then during my visit that and made sure everything would be coded as such. I was told it would be. But I received a bill from them and the company that did my labs. When I called to ask why they said because we discussed knee pain he was "allowed to charge an office visit" on top of my physical. Then when I asked "so I just shouldn't bring up issues when I go in for my physical?" The billing woman agreed with me. REALLY? You're going to charge me extra for bringing up a concern and encourage me NOT to discuss health concerns?? I've been seeing Dr. Berlando for years now.
