I HAD HEART SURGERY AND HAVE COMPUTERIZED MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS IMPLANTED IN MY CHEST CAVITY, HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO COVID PATIENTS LOCKING DOWN ALL THE BEDS IN THE HOSPITAL. SURGERY WAS EXCELLENT, STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING, DR. OWENS WAS OUTSTANDING! WANT TO THANK DR. CALDWELL FOR RECOMMENDING DR. OWENS. I AM NOT SURPRISED, AS QUALITY KNOWS QUALITY! IF YOU NEED A DEFIBRILLATOR IMPLANTED, SEE DR. OWENS, THERE ARE SOME HEART DR.S IN N. TEXAS, I WOULDN'T TRUST A GOLDFISH TO. THE 3 BEST ARE, DR. ACUFF, DR. CALDWELL, AND DR. OWENS. HEART SURGERY IS NOT VEGAS, WHY RISK YOUR LIFE WITH SOMEONE WHO IS A LEGEND ONLY IN THEIR OWN MIND?

Dr. Owens and staff are the best. Highly recommended.

DR. Owens and his staff make you feel like a favorite Uncle that has stopped by for a visit. They answer EVERY question completely then ask questions to ensure you understand the situation. If the receptionist takes a message you can rest assured Dr. Owens will return your call.

I was impressed with Dr. Owens from the start. He is courteous, skilled, and knowledgeable. He explains thing well in a way that I can understand. He has a good sense of humor, too. I would recommend him if to anyone who has problems with a-fib! His staff has always been polite and helpful to me.

If I could choose to have one person for all my health care needs, it would be Dr Owens. Dr Owens could easily be the buddy you sit and have a beer with, yet his compassion, knowledge, professionalism and mannerism, at the level of an EP, are top notch. One professional told me, of all the EP's that have come to/out of the DFW area, they don't get any better than Dr Owens. I truly believe this as well, with all my "heart". Exceptional in explaining and performing. I have recommended him to several people. Now I feel that I will reach my goal to make it to be 100+ and know it??

Doctor Owens is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and explain your condition and how he will treat it. His explanations are clear and understandable. I totally trust this Doctor Owens!

I saw Dr. Owens as a new patient about a year ago. He was very, very detailed with getting my medical history. He has great table side manners! He takes time to listen and teaches you instead of just giving medication. He explains why behind the treatment. His staff is friendly and helpful!

I saw Dr. Owens while in the hospital being treated for an A-Fib change of medication. He knows what he is doing.

Dr. Owens treated my chronic afib and gave me my life back! He listens before offering a treatment path.

Dr. Owens performed a cardiac ablation on my 17 year old son. We were referred by his regular cardiologist, who said that despite the urgency, getting in with Dr. Owens more important due to his level of expertise in Wolff Parkinson White syndrome. We met with Dr. Owens once before the procedure.. He took the time to fully explain the disorder, the procedure, what to expect, and what the likelihood of success would be. 2 mos later my son's life has been transformed. We are so grateful!!

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter was given the worst treatment by Dr. Owens that she actually left his office crying. He completely dismissed her symptoms. We fortunately found another electro cardiologist who found the problem and did surgery and fixed it. If another doctor of the same profession is quickly able to identify what it was (with just one visit )and surgically repair it then I would think twice about trusting Dr Owens to treat you or your family members.

I was diagnosts with POTS, but other symptoms came about and my doctor believed that Dr. Owens would be able to figure out what was wrong with me. I went to him, immediately he dismissed my Symptoms, telling me he doesn't deal with pots patients and he didn't know why my doctor would even refer me to him, he was so extremely condescending, I left his office crying. Later to find an AMAZING electrocardiologist with in 1 visit diagnosed me and did a surgery to correct my heart.

I was introduced to Dr. Owens in the hospital. I was referred to him after a scary episode with my heart. From the moment he walked into my room and pulled a chair up to my bedside, I felt I had a physician who was going to listen! Since that moment, he has listened to every explanation of discomfort and fear I had and set my mind and my heart, at ease! He never rushes a visit and he makes sure before he walks you to the check out clerk, he has answered every concern! None better!

Don't go to Dr. Owens unless you want to see an excellent and personable physician who listens to his patients and addresses their concerns. He is fabulous, compassionate with patients and passionate about his job. You are more than a chart or a diagnosis to this doctor. He seriously rocks.
