Dr. Angela E Scheuerle

We have seen countless providers for our son, and she is absolutely the most uncaring, abrasive and rude doctor by miles. She interrupted my daughter and told her to stop talking. Nobody has ever used the words "I don't care" when talking about my son until her. She rushed me every step of the way. In her notes, she wrote that we don't understand his disorder when all I stated was that we would like to go over any new/updated information since his diagnosis. If you can see anyone else, I absolutely would. Being a doctor doesn't mean you can be so dismissive to the people you should be helping.

Took my children to her a few years back and did not have a great experience. I was driving almost 3 hours to get there and had some traffic and few accidents that made me later than I thought. I called to inform them of the delay and they said it was fine and to still head that way. Then my son suffered a seizure, so we pulled over and waited as it passed (whole reason we were doing genetic testing.) I went to the office and they said yes they will still see me, so we waited. After being brought back, she failed to properly due her job because she was too busy yelling at me about wasting her time, and that she has other patients. She also misdiagnosed my son with a heart murmur that the cardiologist confirmed didn’t exist. The moment I left her office, I never heard from her again. Waiting on genetic testing and only having communication with staff and a genetic counselor. There’s other places, please check into those first. We’ve seen a lot of doctors with our son and this doctor was by far the worst. Rough, uncaring, dismissive. I would try any other geneticist you could find before her.

We have seen her for last couple years for our daughter. Dr. Scheuerle has been great with her trying to figure everything out. She also has a great staff
