As a nurse of many years Dr Kirby’s reputation speaks volumes as to his ethics & professionalism. I’d trust him with my life.

I want to applaud you after watching Dr. Death. You were brave and courageous and saved many lives! Now that’s what makes a great doctor! I live in south Texas but if I ever need a serious surgery, I would take the trip to Dallas to be your patient because your integrity speaks volumes! I hope life is full of blessings for you and your family for your actions!

He performed the abdominal incision on a major 360 spinal fusion. To put it simply, he screwed up so badly that he severed all my abdominal nerves. When discussed he looked at the mri/x-ray and responded "it happens" the the results on the table and said "someone from my office will call you and to schedule to fix this" stormed out of the room. I was shocked at the answer and more precisely at his overall arrogance. Of course, no one from his office was going to touch me. 18 months later, $50,000 out of pocket dollars spent. I found out that "it happens" with Kirby is something that is industry standard. Be very very leary.

Medical malpractice and negligence is all I can say. Please tell me how a 39 year old doing a spinal fusion ends up with dead bowel, a bile leak, and then his death???. Own up to your mistakes during my family members surgery. He was perfectly healthy. Now a single mom of two kids has to live without her high school sweetheart. Don’t choose this dr. He lies and covers up his medical errors.

Good job on stepping up for the citizen of Texas. Wish there was more doctors like you. Much respect from Beaverton Oregon

I just have to say thank you for your part in bringing down Dr. Death. If you anything like the character played by you, I will be in your office if I ever need a neurosurgeon!!

I am only writing about billing practices. I just received a surprise bill it is now 3/17/2021. I just received a bill from the. Date of service 5/14/19. They sit on the bills and if they are not happy with insurance they will bill you. This is the first time I have heard from them

I have never personally received care from Dr. Kirby but I would encourage you to look into his stand against Christopher Duntsch for a testament to his character. Having never met him, I trust that Dr. Kirby has a very good heart and takes the care of his patients very personally. Thank you for doing the right thing and not the easy thing.

I would go see Dr.Kirby just from him having the courage to risk his medical career to stop Christopher Duntch from “practicing medicine “! If he had not pushed so hard to have this disturbed doctor from practicing there is no doubt many more innocent lives and bodies would be destroyed. Thank You! I have had many surgeries and I can tell you are very gifted!

He never examined me in the ER for acute appendicitis & waited for the result of a barium swallow that took hours. My appendix ruptured in the ER whilst waiting. He didn’t know before he operated on me initially with laparoscopic surgery & found pus in my abdomen, then had to open my abdomen up with the longest vertical cut! I required a drain & intravenous antibiotics & a longer hospitalization. He was arrogant & never admitted his negligence.He never examined my abdomen before surgery! FANTASTIC SURGEON! WAS SEEN QUICKLY AND HE HAS A WONDERFUL STAFF.

I had surgery on 8/3/15 and I am still trying to get a refund of over 500.00 that I paid and the insurance has paid some but not all. Dr.Kirby's billing office says it is BCBS problem and BCBS says it is a billing problem. No one is willing to help me. I have been dealing with this for almost 2 years and I am beyond frustrated!
