Dr Carr has integrity although a Surgeon there was no hurry to cut on me.

Dr. Carr made me feel very comfortable. She explained the important information in a way I could easily understand. She explained next steps and answered my questions. Great personable attitude - I appreciate her approach.

Dr Carr was very direct and to the point while explaining to me the the results of the many tests I had taken for my Spondylosis. She explained clearly what the effects of surgery could have, or I could choose not to do anything about it. I declined surgery.

Dr Carr is so knowledgeable as well as being personable! I went in with so much anxiety about Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinsons but within 20 minutes I was sure she was the Neuro surgeon for me & my anxiety dropped immensely due to Dr Carr's professional yet kind disposition! She knows her business & knows how to defuse a worried patient! Her staff was just amazing especially Natalie her super Nurse!! Thank you!!

Dr Ann Carr and her amazing staff performed an L4-L5 fusion on me on Monday March 28. Dr Carr did not give me any false illusions going into surgery. Her word were: "I am not a miracle worker who can take away ALL of your pain " I was treated superbly by everyone I came in contact with. I am having post surgical pain which is to be expected. Even though she worked on diseased vertebrae the neuropathy in my feet is SO much better. I would 1000% have Dr Carr operate on me again should I need it! I had an extremely bad experience with Dr. Carr in both Sacred Heart Hospital as well as in her office. I had broken my lower back and was literally strapped to a bed in the hospital. I was told I had to wear this ridiculous jacket that was too big even though I exchanged it it didn’t fit and I was told that if I did not wear it for six months that I could become paralyzed or need surgery. I couldn’t wear it for six months . I couldn’t even drive. Now I’m having physical therapy at select without her help and when I just called for a medical massage referral her office told me that she could not and would not refer me because it had been a while since I had seen her. The reason for this is that I went there twice to see her and the second time I saw her PA who told me she was Dr. Carr. This is highly unethical. So are the HIPAA laws regarding my medical records in which Dr. Carr made personal comments about my appearance. I need a referral from Dr. Carr to another neurosurgeon so I can end this nightmare! Worse doctor I have ever met. She gave me a bad report because she told me that she doesn't like to do accident cases. ????She has a noncaring attitude. I would not ever see her again ????

Dr Carr is very thorough and straight to the point. She only wants the best for her Patients. She recommends getting as healthy as possible before surgery. I really appreciate her taking my overall health in to account.

Dr. Carr operated on my husband 5 days ago, removing bone fragments from a nerve, removing scar tissue, and doing other "repairs" from two ruptured discs in his spine. The surgery went well, the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, and so far his recovery is going as expected. Dr. Carr met with me post-surgery to go over the procedure and instructions for recovery. She was upfront, clear, and funny. She didn't hesitate or make me feel stupid for asking questions; rather, she seemed very understanding and matter-of-fact about it all. She is the reason I'm back with Baptist Hospital. She was hateful to me because I smoke! Also gave me no hope, I became very depressed after seeing her. Total lack of compassion...I've Never met a Dr like that! Sacred Heart used to be the only place for me but I was wrong. Other drs, people and Sacred Heart knows of her bad reputation but still claims her, got to be a money thing...shame on you SHH!???? She is the reason I'm back with Baptist Hospital. This so surgeon is a jolk

Extremely cold, and extremely judgmental. She does not answer any questions about the scans she has requested to be done. She looks at you as if you're crazy when trying to explain areas of severe pain.

What a complete joke. She is very condescending and rude. She told me basically my neck hurts because I'm overweight and wear flip flops. Then she proceeded to tell me she didn't see anything wrong with my neck but then wanted me to go to physical therapy. Please don't waste your time with this quack.

My dad was operated on by Dr. Carr yesterday after a car accident. An accident that he was at fault for. After surgery she spoke to us to explain the outcome.. which still seemed very confusing. It’s hard to even say what she did when family members ask what was done. And in her speech she went on to tell my mother and I, “You do bad things, bad things will happen.” Almost as if he got what he deserved. She has every right to that opinion but it’s not something you’d expect to hear when your getting post surgery feedback. I could literally feel her lack of care, like she did the bare minimum with him because it was a waist of time. He is uninsured, and was labeled an addict, which means he doesn’t matter. It means you are last on the list, and to none of there concern. My heart hurts for my stepdad. To see him in the condition he’s in, and then have to watch how he was spoken to and looked at was disgusting! He’s not able to move his arms or legs do to injury to his spine. Almost all the staff we encountered we’re very cold and rude. This hospital is extremely judgmental. That’s why addicts lie! They’re embarrassed and not accepted! I wouldn’t recommend Dr A Carr, she attempted my spine fusion. She left me with a ruptured iliac artery and iliac vein. I received 30 units of blood. I nearly died. I got blood clots in my leg and had surgery. Leaving me with a wound vac. I had an abdominal wound vac. It was touch and go for a while. Her vascular Surgeon and general surgeon saved my life.

Did not impress me ! Very rude and short ! She might have spent 5 min with me she does not like smokers do not recommend!!

Holistic minded! Wants the body healthy and the brain healthy! Talked straight, no sugar coating it. Love her!!! Dr Carr and her amazingly professional and compassionate staff took excellent care of my Dad! Thank you!

Dr. Carr was very upfront with me about all my issues. She also got the ball rolling in other tests she wanted me to have. She told me about everything I have going on and what she thought was the best way to proceed. She did a thorough exam and wrote a very detailed case summary that even I could understand. Did not answer any of my questions. Only stamped her foot and said smoking after each question. Even though I proudly said I was down to like 2 cigarettes a day!

Dr. Carr did a great job for an entrapped ulnar never as well as surgery for carpal tunnel. The scar for my elbow was long and after surgery I knew the scar would be awful but you can barely notice it if at all. Her office was fabulous with helping with all the documents that were required for my employer. I have no hesitation to go ahead and doing the other arm now.

So after a long journey I was referred to Dr Care from my chiropractor. Dr Carr is straight to the point and man is she on point. She diagnosed the issue and is gonna get it fixed. No freals no fuss. Her office staff is so wonderful and nice. And focuses on the patient. I am looking forward to dealing with them threw this process.
