I highly recommend Dr. Donahue. I'm sixty-seven years old and have been a professional piano tuner since 1977. Between the work and the driving around everywhere, it's taken a toll on my body. About 3 months ago, I started having chronic, severe bilateral shoulder pain. Working and driving became excruciating at times and the only relief came when I was laying down. Even while just walking, I would feel shoulder pain. I first made an appointment with an orthopedist. The doctor's PA examined me, gave me X-rays, found no major structural damage, and prescribed a course of physical therapy, which I was very up for. So, twelve hours of physical therapy over the next six weeks was beneficial, no doubt. I purchased a set of resistance bands for myself so I could continue doing the strengthening exercises at home. All good, except...I WAS STILL HAVING A LOT OF PAIN. That's when I decided to call Peak Performance and see if Dr. Donahue could help me, and I'm so glad I did! It took him all of 2 or 3 minutes for him to examine me, and listen to me, and then to say, "Oh yes, I'm familiar with this condition." It took only 2 or 3 visits, just once a week, for me to start feeling the improvement. Now, after 6 visits, I am virtually pain free. Dr. Donahue got right to heart of the matter. His technique to manipulate my shoulder area seemed unique to my experience, and was extremely effective. Also, a really nice office staff, very nice Americana artwork decorating the walls, and always some sweets on the counter! I think Dr. Donahue is a very intuitive healer. Doctor Donahue is an extremely skilled Chiropractor. Enabled me to train for a half-marathon as my aging back was falling apart this spring. His treatments is the only thing that enabled me to train and I always felt instantaneous relief.

Doctor Arthur was extremely professional and respectful.. He did an awesome job finding the knots and fixing them! Highly recommend!

Dr. Art is the most knowledgeable chiropractor I know. And being an RN, my back is always killing me. This doctor office is so welcoming, and truly amazing. I am so happy I chose this office. I feel like a million bucks!

Art Donohue is the best. His ability to find and fix my back and leg issues is uncanny. I think he has a mystical ability to help his patients. And...he is a genuinely thoughtful, caring, and kind man. You will not find a better healer.

I hurt my back while assisting a family member into her wheelchair 3 weeks ago. I was constantly experiencing pain and depending on what I was doing, the pain ranged from awful to mere awareness. Yesterday I made my first visit to Dr. Donohue. This morning I had to actually move about on purpose trying to locate the pain. Although still present the pain is at a much lower level and harder to find. I can see light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. If I can feel this much better one day after treatment from Dr. Donohue, I can project complete freedom from back pain in a week. Dr. Donohue has a clean professional reception room staffed by a very pleasant office administrator. Dr. Donohue has many many patients. I saw several in the waiting room and heard the office manager take many calls from others seeking appointments. I can see why Dr. Donhue is so popular. Dr. Art is the best. I've been to several chiropractors in the Hudson Valley area and he is by far better than the rest. He doesn't pressure you to schedule a gazillion visits, he works only on the area(s) with issues, and has a gentle yet productive touch. I highly recommend Dr. Art!

Great place

This was my first experience ever having an adjustment done on myself and I was very impressed with Dr Donohue and his staff. His receptionist is very professional and kind and making the appointment was easy. Dr Donohue is very knowledgeable in his profession and I appreciate that he explains step by step what he's doing and why he's doing it. His bedside manner is great and I can tell he truly cares about his patients and want to help them feel their best. I went back for a follow up visit and was as impressed as the first time around. I will continue going to Dr Donohue to help me with any and all pains I'm having as I can already feel a difference after just two visits. Highly recommend! Dr. Donohue is the best. I always leave his office better than I arrived, and that has been for years (whenever I forget how old I'm getting)

He is a great doctor. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know his patients. I was referred by an friend and happily refer my friends too.
