I had been going to Dr Khurana for years. She is fine, until there is an actual problem. My son (10 at the time) had been having medical issues which she kept ignoring. She kept asking me to send him to a therapist. He was wetting the bed, emotional, vomiting, losing a lot of weight. I finally requested blood work after several therapists said it was not psychological. I was practically crying in her office. I reminded her again of his weight loss and she said she would add Lupus to her list of things to check. This all happened over 4th of July weekend. When I called to tell her I could not get an appointment she told me not to worry and that I could get the bloodwork Monday. By Wednesday the following week, I had still not heard back from her so I started googling. I called her that morning and told her, I was afraid he had type 1 diabetes. She told me to come into her office that morning and she would check. When we got to her office, she said we had to go immediately to Sinai Hospital, my son, had type 1 diabetes. He could have died. He was approx 4'9" and weighed less than 60 pounds. She was so quick to dismiss my concerns and send him to therapy. I, like many others on this review, believed that she was a good doctor. Never quick to react when the children were sick. The problem is, sometimes, you need to react. I never got an apology or an acknowledgement that she screwed up. Doctor Khurana misdiagnosed my son for months. He could have died. He had all the symptoms of type 1 diabetes but she kept sending us to a therapist. I asked for bloodwork and began to google his symptoms. After months of misdiagnosis, I told her I suspected t1d. He had all the symptoms, bed wetting multiple times a night, vomiting, emotionally reactive, and especially weight loss. He looked like a skeleton by the time I figured it out. I would never go back to this doctor.

I called today to pay off my balance and the lady was not nice. I paid and she said “ the payment went thru” and I said “thanks”, to what she replied “aha” and hang un up on me. Not even have a nice day or nothing. Please Dr. train your staff. I also deal with patients 5 days a week. And if they are nice to me I am extra nice to them. We had a horrible experience with Dr khurana. Our kids were traveling and needed Covid tests needed within 72 hours. The day they were traveling she told us that she had no results for us and that the specimens had been sitting in her office for 3 days!! We had to cancel the flights. This was a very bad experience.

Have been seeing doctor Khurana for last 3 years, really like her diagnosis.

She is the best pediatrician! We absolutely love her.

Dr. Khurana is the best pediatrician! She goes above and beyond to answer questions, listen to concerns, and really support you on your parenting journey.

I've taken my twins to Dr. Khurana since they were babies. They are now 8 years old. She has always been very patient and kind. I like that the questions she asks seem to focus on whole body wellness to find out the best solution.

I would give a zero if I could. Dr Khurana is wonderful and highly skilled at her practice but her one-man staff is the problem! She was the ped assigned to us at the hospital. The first two weeks out of the hospital we had great follow up visits. However things went downhill from then. After baby's three month check up , they have consistently failed to properly schedule follow-up visit or give curtsey calls (requested). When I have called, there was always a new front desk person who had no record of our past visits, could not find scheduled upcoming visits or updated charts. I suppose keeping paper records in a digital era is vastly to blame for this incompetence. I have had to sit in the office for hours while they struggled to find our folder from the huge pile. I am obviously upset because I have a condition that requires my child to have timely vaccines and the outlet has done us a great disservice. Here we are 8 months down with several missing vaccines and no updated records for ones we have taken. I have had no choice but to switch providers. If you have an infant, I definitely do not recommend. Like I said I like Dr. Khurana as an individual but this is unacceptable when it comes to my child's health. I would give a zero if I could. Emily at the front desk is extremely thorough.

Dr. Khurana was my pediatrician when I was a child and I remember always feeling safe in her hands.

My son (4) and daughter (6) have been with Doctor Khurana since their birth date and she is the best in the area :-) She has been the source of comfort and relief for us during multiple occasions over the 6 years we have known her. Her kindness, compassion and expertise is wonderful. We absolutely love her!!!!!!. She is the best pediatrician ????

Absolutely love her. She hears our concerns and answers them with proper reasoning. She is also very good at guiding us in behavioral development, not just physical development. She advocates for the baby where needed. She is a doctor who is genuinely involved with her patients.

The doctor is very strick with kids. My 4 year old has been treated multiple times here and is being shouted at by doctor for not sitting properly or not letting her take temperature. Kids are kids. I would expect a doctor to work with them nicely. Not yell. I would not recommend this doctor for kids.

Not enough words to describe how much we love Dr. Khurana! My son was sick from birth and she was there from day one! You can call her at ANY time of the night and she always calls right back! She has never turned him away always getting him in same day! Her bedside manner is so reassuring! My son is now 8 and I have a 5 month old and I wouldn't dare EVER go anywhere else! Been coming here with my 2 sons for 15 years. We love Dr. Khurana! When our kids were young she provided parenting advice which greatly helped our boys to get on healthy eating and sleeping schedules. Today we needed help from the office staff to fill out a bunch of camp forms and they did it with a smile on their faces. So glad we chose this practice all those years ago. Been coming here with my 2 sons for 15 years. We love Dr. Khurana! Top notch physician who really knows her stuff!

She is a super doctor. She allowed us to interview her before bringing our son to her. She took the time to answer all our questions and addressed our concerns. Even though we moved 2 hours away from her practice ( another state). She is still his pediatrician. we drive 2 hours for his appointments. Yes its crazy to travel that far, when we can easily find one within 5mile radius. When you have a wonderful doctor like Dr. Khurana, it's completely worth it. We recommend her 100%.

We were hugely disappointed when Dr Khurana was not able to diagnose Jaundice in our LO on time. Although his eyes were yellowish, she said it's normal and no need to worry. However;Call it God's grace, we had to take our LO to Emergency due to a different reason one night and that's when they said his jaundice was severely high and needs hospital admission. We were beyond shock and had to spend 4 days at John Hopkins. Waiting time was long at every visit and she sees multiple patients at once.
