I’m a veterinarian who’s allergic to gasses , cats and certain dogs. I was miserable at my job but Dr Baxter and her staff has been managing my allergies for the last couple of years! I’m so grateful and thankful for all they’ve done.

Knowledgeable and friendly. Took her time with us and never felt like she was in a hurry. She listened and answered all of our questions. Appointment was for my 16 year old so. We both would recommend Dr. Baxter!!

Dr. Barbara Baxter is a very experienced and knowledgeable allergist and immunologist. She is also a very pleasant and caring person. I would highly recommend her to anyone in Dallas who is seeking an allergist or who has allergies and hasn't yet thought about going to an allergist. Who has an extensive and knowledgeable staff and an on-site shot clinic. During the height of the covid pandemic she took extra precautions to make sure that all her patients stayed safe. Very informative, listened to my every concern. Even though we didn't leave with answers as to why I was having the current medical issue I did leave with options of treatments to help deal with what I was experiencing.

I called for an appointment. After being transferred in very rude matter, the scheduling nurse was beyond rude. I have Blue Cross PPO Platinum plan with $250 deductible. I told her cost is not an issue. She proceeded with harassing me about my last name, and how she needs to verify insurance and what I can pay, and what I can't pay. This is not about the MD, however, she should do much better HR job. Horrible, rude, and borderline discriminatory. It's 2021 customer service is a must if you want to survive that are 50+ MDs in the area, you are not the only one in town. I called for an appointment. Dr. Baxter is so easy to talk to and did not make me feel rushed. We discussed previous testing and medications for diagnosis and treatment of my asthma. Dr. Baxter started me on a new regiment and I am already seeing results. I highly recommend Dr. Baxter and her team.

I called for an appointment and was put through to the nurse, She asked for my Medicare number and said they would get back with me. After a week I called back. Still have not heard back.

The first time I went to the clinic they were very nice. I am a self paying customer and they gave me the option to continue going to her main office or to go to the agape clinic, which I didn’t even know existed. The doctor and nurse who helped me were very patient and explained everything and answered all my questions. The nurse even set up an appointment for me at the agape clinic, which I thought was very nice. Unfortunately, when I called her office because I didn’t know where to call to set up another appointment for the agape clinic, her receptionist was rude and told me that clinic was only for her paying patients and she has no information on the agape clinic. Can’t help but feel if it was the doctor or even the nurse, they wouldn’t have reacted quite the same way. From the moment that I entered her office (after having my temperature taken, wearing my mask) until the moment that I left everyone was kind, courteous, and patient with my myriad questions. I never felt rushed, hurried or that my questions were unwelcome. All my questions were answered and I was given information to take home to help me manage my allergies. I feel hopeful about improving my quality of life. Since my initial visit I have returned two times for allergy injections and they were virtually painless, the staff has excellent shot giving techniques. Dr Baxter has been taking care of me for a long time. She is very knowledgeable about allergies and asthma, and has helped me get to a place where I understand and manage my sinus issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Baxter's for well over 25 years. She is wonderful and takes the time to listen to your concerns so she can truly understand your case. It is difficult in our managed care age to find a doctor who will actually spend more than 10-15 minutes with a patient. I highly recommend her.

I normally pick good Dr's, but this time I dropped the ball. Very Poor service from the Dr. She was an hour late, no apology and was very rude and arrogant to my elderly mother. I would not recommend her to anyone. This visit was a total waste of time.

I've been calling the appointment desk to see if I can get an appointment as a new patient here. I have left several voicemails asking them to call me back. They have not done so, and every time that I call, it rings for a while and then goes to voicemail. If you can't even get through to make an appointment, it's a clear sign of unreliability. Edit: Thank you very much for your reply; however, by the timestamp of your reply, you are telling me that I called your office on Monday night after closing. This is simply not true, as even my cell phone record that my last call to your office was Monday 11Jun2018 at 2:39 PM. When I called, the receptionist was there and connected me to the Appointment Desk, where it rang until I heard the voicemail prompt, and no cell phone number. I agree, you are so right that this was a terrible case of phone tag, but please don't tell me incorrect details of what I supposedly did when. I’m glad I found Dr. Baxter. Got tested for allergies there. Dr. Baxter and all her staff are so friendly and helpful. I also love that when you call her office a real person answers, and I’m not forced to listen to a series of canned messages before a real person answers.

I moved out here from So. California last summer, just in time for all the heat and humidity. And so my skin allergies to molds and pollen went nuts. Found Dr. Baxter, and she was great during the intake, asking tons of questions, and listening to all my past experiences with shots, steroids, and antihistamines. Thankfully, she prescribed a very conservative plan of treatment, which I appreciate. I don't want to take more drugs and ointments than what is needed to keep me from scratching my skin raw. Dr. Baxter has been my Allergist for the last 20 + years. I have also been in the medical field for the last 10 and know a great Dr when I see one! Very detail oriented and genuinely cares about her patients and their well being. The staff at her office is always more than helpful with any question or need I may have!

When I was very sick, Dr. Baxter encouraged me to call her anytime with any questions or if my symptoms got worse. I had symptoms that scared me so I requested a call from her after hours (6pm) to discuss. She then proceeded to scold me for not calling her during work hours, and did so in a very unprofessional way. I felt very humiliated, and I will not be returning. She has terrible bedside manner.

So happy I found her. I've been struggling with allerigies my entire life so much that a lot of the symptoms are normal at this point in my life. A few weeks ago I had a really bad break out. After seeing Dr. Baxter she not only was spot on with the medication she gave me she also started me with allergy shots which will eventually take away my allergies. She's the best!!!

Poor customer service. I had an allergy test appointment that I had to cancel since I found out I was on a medication that had anti-histamine in it. I spoke with someone at the office several days before to cancel; however, they never cancelled the appointment and refused to consider that I might be telling the truth about the cancellation even though they had notes in the computer that suggested otherwise. They refused to see me without first paying a $150 cancellation fee. Poor customer service. I am highly allergic to most airborne allergens and the immunizations have helped immensely. Highly recommend. The process of building immunization is time-consuming. It takes at least 6 months to notice a difference, and I started with injections twice weekly. Each visit requires 30 minute wait period after injections to watch for anaphylactic (sp?) shock. Once I moved to Texas, I learned what an allergy means - never suffered before. I was miserable! So glad to have found Dr. Baxter's practice - where I got tested for allergies (skin test) and then started getting my allergy shots - within a few months I started to see huge improvement. Dr. Baxter and her entire staff is wonderful! My allergies were awful when I moved to Texas from California. Getting through the seasons in Texas used to be horrible. I hated having to take many pills, eye drops and nasal sprays to get me through a day. I have noticed a huge improvement since starting my allergy shots at Dr. Baxter's office. Dr. Baxter is fantastic. I highly recommend her for any allergy issues. I've been seeing her for two years and can attest that my allergies have severely changed for the better (less symptoms, increased energy, etc.)! I never take allergy pills anymore. It's a multi year process but completely worth it.

My experience with Dr Baxter has been nothing but great. She diagnosed my alleriegies that I have been struggling with for years after a single visit and I started treatment immediately.
