No one wants a health emergency while on vacation away from your usual doctors. We were staying in Naples in January and one morning I noticed a dramatic change in my vision in one eye. After speaking with my doctor back home he advised I see someone ASAP. After reading many reviews I chose to contact Dr Ginsberg. From the first phone call I knew I had made the right choice. I was triaged and given an appointment with the doctor in record time. Dr. Ginsberg’s staff treated me like one of their established patients with warm professionalism. The good doctor took time with the exam and answered all questions. I was assured that my condition would repair itself in time and was given a report. This was also sent to my physician back home. As advised, the condition resolved quickly. The peace of mind was what I really needed that day. So yes, I recommend the office of Dr Ginsberg highly and without reservations.

Intake person very efficient and pleasant. Doctor took his time and explained things.

Dr. Ginsberg quite possibly saved my eyesight when he recommended me to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami after an office visit with him. I had double vision in my left eye and after a thorough exam, he said so needed to see a neurosurgeon. He helped me through the process. They discovered an aneurysm soon after which called for a stent to be put in immediately! Had he not taken the time, it could have ruptured. He is very kind, pleasant and listened to my issues. Two other eye doctors in Ft Myers offered no resolve to the double vision! I would recommend him highly and repeatedly to anyone needed a great eye doctor. He will definitely do my cataract surgery!!

Doctor Ginsberg is an excellent doctor, and his practice is extremely well run. And as an aside there is a great assortment of snacks in the waiting room.

My wife and I have been going to Dr Ginsberg for several years ever since she got an inflammation from a cataract operation in one eye by another ophthalmologist. Needless to say, we sought out another doctor for her second eye. Dr Ginsberg did a great job on my wife’s other eye with no complications. We have no reservations about his professionalism and competency.

I recommend Dr. Ginsberg highly for a multifocus procedure. My only regret is that I wait so long out of unfounded fear. He is very conscientious about follow ups. He doesn't just turn you loose after surgery. Dr. Ginsberg ensures your vision is just what it should be. Staff is excellent. Beautiful, up to date office. So glad I finally took care of my vision. I'm in my 70s, and I see a different world now. Very pleased.

Timely appointment. Hardly any wait. Technicians are courteous and friendly. Dr. Ginsberg did my multi focal cataract surgery and I could not be happier with my new ability to see and Dr. Ginsberg’s kind bedside manner and expertise! Highly recommend!

Very nice facility. Techs were friendly and walked me thru cataract surgery on both eyes. I have great vision now. Thank you Dr. Grinsberg!

Personal and professional.

During the examination, surgical process, and postoperative care for my IOL replacements, I experienced the utmost in care and treatment from Dr. Ginsberg and his staff. As my husband and I were traveling to our home in Naples I suddenly encountered a significant decreased of vision in my right eye. We were still on the Interstate. 40 minutes away from his office. He waited for me and examined me when I arrived. What doctors do that in today's day and age? He called me the next morning to see how I was doin. Then he called the retinal specialist I was going to see that day to discuss his findings. I will forever be grateful for the care Dr. Ginsberg provided for me. Thank you, Dr. Ginsberg!

Dr Ginsberg did cataract surgery on both eyes a week apart. Very happy with the results and the lens he recommended. Dr Ginsberg and his staff is very patient focused. He listens to any concerns and answers all of your questions. Never felt rushed.

I had LASIC surgery 13 years ago however in the years since, I found it impossible to read street signs, do any computer work or see my phone screen without reading glasses. At 59, I live an active lifestyle and wanted to see if an improvement in my sight could be made. After an initial detailed examination and consultation with Dr Ginsberg, I decided to on what is called Clear Lens Exchange Surgery. Dr Ginsberg performed the surgery using a multifocal lens. What a fantastic outcome! I love my new vision! I can now read a menu, text messages , computer, drive a car and play golf again seamlessly without constant fumbling for reading glasses. I would highly recommend Dr Ginsberg. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and professional; and has an excellent staff. The surgical center was excellent. The staff provided a wonderful, friendly environment and each was very capable with his/her respective duties. Again I would highly recommend!

Dr Ginsberg and his staff are fantastic! I had lens replacement in both eyes not because I had cataracts but because I want to get rid of contacts and readers. Dr. Ginsberg recently completed Lasik Surgery for me, from the first appointment I felt completely comfortable and at ease with the services I received in his office. He and his team did a great job, at making me feel, comfortable, answering all my questions and also talking me through the entire procedure. The procedure was quick and painless, only slight felt pressure. My vision was clear within hours.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ginsberg's for 2 years. he diagnosed an eye problem, performed surgery, and saved my eyesight. He is a rare form of Physician these days; extremely competent with his medical abilities and also has an excellent bedside manner. Most other doctors have decided to fight lower reimbursement rates from insurance companies and less covered medical procedures by triple booking appointments and performing unnecessary medical tests that will be covered by insurance. I have encountered this with almost every other doctor I see. Dr. Ginsberg does not believe in those tactics. He is all about patient care and making each patient feel like they are the most important one he has. His entire medical staff follows his lead. They provide excellent care and treat each patient with the utmost of kindness and respect. I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Ginsberg and to be receiving his care.

I went to Dr. Ginsberg to have two cataracts removed. His office staff was warm and thorough while moving me quickly through the pre-op paperwork. After meeting Dr. Ginsberg himself, I felt totally confident and at ease as I moved into the first operation. He spent all the time I needed answering all questions about my lens options. Although I had a negative reaction to the first anesthesia, Dr. Ginsberg called to make sure I was ok and assured me that the team would find an alternative prior to my next procedure, and as promised, all went 100% smoothly. I had opted to have the Symfony lenses (multi-focal) implanted and I have been 100% satisfied. Again - Dr. Ginsberg's office called to confirm that I was doing well and the lenses were satisfactory. Throughout my entire experience Dr. Ginsberg and his office staff have given me extraordinary and superlative care. I HIGHLY recommend him.

From the minute I walked in I felt confident that I have chosen the right doctor...It is my third visit and my confidence level is off the charts with this Doctor. I left another opthamologist due to what I call the cataract sales pitch..The other doctor used scare tactics ....thanks to a referral from a top retina specialist I luckily tried and will stay with Dr Ginsberg.I have lived full time in Naples 5 years..Dr Ginsberg is the best.

Yearly eye exam, Dr Ginsberg was prompt, friendly, gave an in-depth exam made low key suggestion for another visit at my convenience. Super restaurant referrals . Was great listener.

Have been visiting Dr. Ginsberg for two years— he has demonstrated he is a real ‘pro’ — evaluates information quickly and presents patient options — my back ground and experience leads me to comment on his leadership — the office is efficiently run — both technical and administrative support are excellent. Each person you deal with is professionally talented, courteous and supportive of patient evaluation and care. Doctor Ginsberg ,however, deserves additional comment — really does a patient observe the professionalism of Doc G — one is totally confident after an initial visit that your lucky to have found an extremely competent Doctor who can relate to patients efficiently , effectively and confidently. I recommend him strongly and trust fully his professional MD acumen.

I thought that I had a daily straight forward issue with my eye. While Dr Ginsberg recognized that things were more complicated than I thought, he didn’t fully communicate. His staff gave me papers to sign outlining various potential outcome concerns, they appeared to be pro forma. I’m sure that Dr Ginsberg is very good with every day opthamological concerns, but seemed out of his depth with my complex issues.

Dr. Ginsberg is THE BEST!! He is professional, gentle and kind. He did my eyelid surgery with local anesthesia (at my request) and it went great!! I have also recommended him (and taken friends to see him) and they have been very happy with his care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ALL OF YOUR EYE CARE NEEDS. I would travel any distance to see Dr Ginsberg for my eye care.

I was in town from Ohio and Dr Ginsberg’s office was very nice about fitting me in on a Friday afternoon for “pink eye”. Dr Ginsberg is very pleasant and took extra time to explain everything including a few extra tips on eye care. He is caring and professional. He treated me as though I was an established patient. I will be recommending Dr Ginsberg to my Naples neighbors.

A disaster, waited one half hour in waiting room even though I was first after lunch, was taken to room, dilated and after one hour was told that the doctor was not in the office and staff couldn't tell me when he would arrive. Walked out.

He is a treat as you are a person rather than a number.

Had an eye biopsy late afternoon and by early evening had severe/crippling pain in the eye. Called Dr. office 5 times during an hour but no call-backs. Called Quigley eye specialists (they had referred me to Ginsberg) and they advised me to go to the E.R. The NCH North E.R. doc paged Ginsberg and again no response. The E.R. numbed my eye and patched it for me so I could go home. NCH North medical staff and nursing were great. No response from Dr. Ginsberg or office was/is unacceptable.

I had cataract surgery w Dr Ginsberg . I was pleased with the care provided and the results. Wouldn’t hesitate to send friends and family to him.

As much as I hate to write this review, I feel it’s necessary. If you’re thinking of getting eyelid surgery , Think Twice. Nice doctor, nice office staff, but given my eyelid surgery experience , it has been a complete nightmare. Nine months post op and my R eye is a hot mess. I believe he should stick to -straight up- ophthalmology instead of trying to cross the line into cosmetic surgery. A mistake I can’t take back. Don’t make the same mistake. I truly regret our eyes ever met

I had cataract surgery in both eyes in January (2018) and would highly recommend Dr. Ginsberg. He and his office staff are efficient and professional but also kind and personable. Dr. Ginsberg took the time to explain the pathology, the range of options available, and answer all my questions. The entire experience before, during and after surgery has exceeded my expectations in every regard and I'm very pleased with the results.

Just read a one star review of Dr. Ginsberg because he wouldn't see these folks on a weekend. It is Saturday evening night right now and the Doctor just met me at his office. Obviously he sees paitents on weekends when he is on call. Understand I didn't have an appointment, am here from Michigan, and was just referred by NCH emergency. We don't have enough doctors like this anywhere.

Dr. Ginsberg completed cataract surgery on both my eyes utilizing a new upgraded lense. He is an amazing doctor and I am very happy he suggested these lenses to me. I have worn glasses since I was in my 20's and I am now glasses free (at 52). Thanks to Dr. Ginsberg I can see long, mid and close distances. He and his staff were very caring and compassionate; always willing to answer questions and assist in any way possible. I felt like I was a person and not just another set of eyes.

Missed a tumor in my husband's eye. Husband ended up in the emergency room on a Sunday and when the hospital (one he is affiliated with) paged him, they were told by his answering service that he does NOT respond on weekends!

I had a severe eye irritation due to dry eye & Dr. Ginsberg & staff scheduled me immediately. His treatment was professional, gave me immediate relief and provided a very thorough exam. Dr. Ginsberg has a friendly, relaxed manner but is very reassuring in his treatment.
