Dr. Stevens and his nurses are rock stars!! I wish I could give them 10 stars. I always receive wonderful care and Dr. Stevens never rushes through your appointments. He is a very caring and skilled surgeon. I went into surgery completely stress free because I knew I would be in such good hands! Springfield is so blessed to have such a great ortho team!

Dr Steven’s addressed the problem with my promptly and recommended a cortisone shot. He is working with me to get my pain under control before my upcoming knee surgery. I will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Stevens did a fhl transfer on my ruptured Achilles’ tendon . He was the third doctor I saw and the only one who diagnosed it correctly, and he did so in 1 minute . It’s been two years and I don’t even notice the repaired foot from the other foot . I didn’t have one day of pain and couldn’t be happier that I went to Dr. Stevens by a friends referral. Great doctor

Dr. Stevens ROCKS!! Although he's a Michigan State grad/fan, he is a wonderful, caring Dr! He answers all of my questions, listens to my concerns, always comes up with the best plan of care, and never backs down from a challenge! Upon my first visit, when the Dr. entered the room, I noticed he was very personable and extremely easy to talk with. He gave his suggestions for a plan of care, explained why he was making those suggestions and made sure I understand the pros and cons of a surgery for my condition. I immediately liked him and felt confident I had chosen the right Dr. His nurse was very nice and helpful with explaining what I needed to do for an upcoming surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Stevens. Dr Benjamin Stevens totally restored by foot after a severe injury. He not only figures out what is wrong, he explains it easily in words non medical people can understand. Appointments was rushed and I now need a second surgery due to nerve damage. I had decided on an alternative specialist. I will admit my foot was extremely damage and it was a major surgery.

I tried to get answers for 14 years about my foot after a MVA. All the doctors kept telling me was that it’s arthritis and deal with it. I met Dr Stevens, 4 months later had surgery and I haven’t had pain since it healed!! Best orthopedic doctor around !

Would definitely recommend Dr. Stevens. I couldn't walk without pain in my foot due to arthritis, he told me he could get rid of 90% of my pain. After recovery from the surgery, I am pain free in that foot. I still have some arthritis in my ankle which causes some pain, but I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome.

I was in pain a long time Dr Stevens fused my ankle, minimal pain walking so much better cannot say enough good things about this doctor!!!!!!!You will not be sorry best in Springfield

I was referred to Dr. Stevens from the Ortho Clinic. He diagnosed my foot injury right off the bat and within 2 weeks i was in surgery. It was a serious foot injury which I didn't realize. Six screws later, he's got me back on my feet and walking normal. He explains everything in layman's terms so you understand everything. Love his staff as well! My daughter broke her foot while playing soccer. Dr. Stevens was great. Every detail of surgery, recovery, PT was explained. All appointmetns were timely. The Doctor took as much time as we needed and explained everything in terms normal people understand. His staff is top notch. I would highly recommend Dr. Stevens.

This Doctor damaged two nerves during the surgery. He refused to admit his error. Instead he insisted I take narcotics and walked. The doctors was aggressive and yelled at my numerous times.Luckly my primary care doctor got me the care I needed and referred my to a nerve specialist in st.louis. Because of Dr Steaven's careless actions I will need at least one additional operation. Despite being no long under his care dr Steaven's has been accessing my chart and his manager had to intervene.

Dr. Stevens (and his nurses Julia and Aimee) are simply amazing. I did not wait long for my appointment, his nurses greeted me warmly, and Dr. Stevens did not leave the room until all of my questions were answered. I had a hard time with plantar fasciitis, but we were able to make my pain manageable and now I'm doing great! I wish he did more than just the foot and the ankle!

He came highly recommended by a doctor of sports medicine and I, in turn, would highly recommend him to anyone looking to break free from this type of chronic condition.
