I scheduled an appointment back in January. Was told when I got there I had $400 to pay up front and out of pocket. I said I couldn't afford that that day. She said okay call back to reschedule when I can pay it. I called today and was told they will not see me due to my refusal to pay. The receptionists in this office is rude and unprofessional. Sad because I seriously have to something wrong with my sinuses. My doctor referred me. They are refusing to see me.

Took my daughter for a consultation about her tonsils. Dr spent more time telling me about insurance requirements than what he could do for her. I didn't have any issues with the nurse until she called me. She was rude and blamed me for his behavior based on the form I filled out (disregarding the conversation that clarified that information). I read reviews and take them very seriously. It seems this doc needs a lesson in compassion and patient care. His communication skills are terrible. Thank goodness her PCP cares enough to get her into an ENT that is a problem solver! We will never be back and I will highly discourage everyone who has issues with their tonsils from seeing Dr Welch. I'm sure they will try to justify this behavior but, they just can't.

I wish there was a negative 10! This Dr has no compassion or empathy, my 16 year old daughter has a tumor pressing on her hearing bone and is almost completely deaf, we missed an appointment because my wife had a Heart attack, and he would not give us another appointment really? Extremely rude staff all led by a “holier than thou” doctor. Both of my visits were met with rude and hateful staff. Would not recommend this place. You pay good money for their education and experience. You don’t pay good money so that the staff and doctor can be rude and hateful to you.

Very unprofessional! I would not recommend this place To my worst enemy. Very disrespectful nurse and Doctor Welch was very unprofessional. The nurse looked at my mom and said u think ur bad don’t u? Who does that?!? I would definitely find a place that cares about patients personally and not just the money.

Dr. Welch and staff were very professional and courteous. He took time to answer my questions, helped me understand my voice problem, and gave me guidance to help it improve.

I went in because of a salivary stone. I told them on the phone that’s why I was coming in after about a one second exam he started giving me some other doctors name $159 for a phone number he could’ve told me that over the phone

Dr. Welch and his staff are the best, friendly and professional. Dr. Welch is an amazing and gifted surgeon.

Tried to find out about an appointment my ex set up for my son, they wouldn't tell me anything, so I tried to cancel it, but they said I had to talk to my ex (we have split custody). So I said I'd talk to my lawyer ('You do that!'). Next day I show up, with my son, and have him explain that he doesn't want the operation his mom set up for him (He's 11), explain what part of the divorce decree my lawyer pointed out this was violating, then ask what I can do. The receptionist rudely tells me that I need to get my lawyer to talk to their supervisor. So I did. Later, I get a hateful call from the supervisor 'thanks to you the appointment has been cancelled! I don't appreciate you showing up and threatening my employees. If you show up here again, I will have you arrested!' She then reiterates that I am not welcome there and she will call the cops 'And you can tell your lawyer that!' I will be letting all my friends know this is not where they want to do there business.

So pleased with our experience here. They are the nicest people!

I went in there, 1 out of 5 people were nice to me... they acted like I was a slob, (which I am not.) And treated me like dirt. I took my son in there for a hearing test, and he looked at him for 3 seconds and thrw his hands in the air and said he doesn't need my services and walked out of the room without another word... he was very rude. Had attitude the whole time along with his nurse that ignored me when I tried to talk to her.. I will never go again. I don't know what the other posts are about unless lots has changed since then. I've been coming for a couple of months and have only been treated with respect. The entire office staff is super nice!

My son had to have tubes and for him only bn 9 mnths they were very patient and nice! Would suggest this place to anyone! Office staff is awesome and dr welch is amazing!

Dr. Welch and his staff were very friendly this morning. They were very thorough and gave me plenty of time for questions and discussion. I got my appointment in just 2 days and I went right in after the paperwork was completed. The office is modern and pleasant and I actually look forward to my follow-up visit in 4 weeks. I will recommend Dr. Welch to my family and friends.

I'm with the other girl. The girl at the front desk is extremely rude. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a doctor's office. If you are looking for a ENT doctor go somewhere else.

Dr. Welch is awesome. His staff in Claremore are so nice. I would totally recommend him to anyone who needed a Ent Specialist.

Dr. Welch was very brisk and lacked appropriate communication skills. He spoke two sentences to my child which were to look up and turn her head. When I tried to ask him a question he told me he had 100 other patients to see before the day was over and needed to hurry. I had been waiting over an hour to see him.

He is very abrupt and lacks people skills. I took my four year old to him and he spoke exactly two sentences to her. I tried to ask him questions and he informed me that he had 100 other patients to see before the day was over. It was 4:30 and we had waited an hour to see him.

I was referred several years ago and the rudest staff and doctor I have ever met. I left sobbing of how I was treated. I was so ill and expecting help and had insurance so shocked of how rude he was to me. Then received a call about a year later from my brother who had been referred as well asking why I had not warned him about how rude this doctor was.

Dr.Welch was very nice our first visit. But since then I have had to call up to his office several times and the receptionist is not friendly and has no personal skills I even went into drop something off only to be treated like crap by the very rude receptionist. In my opinion if you want to keep your patients hire someone with some kind of personal skills because now I will not be going back to his office because of her.

I like Dr. Welch because he is an expert in his field. Every time I visit his office he and his staff make me feel very comfortable and secure. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Welch and his staff. Anyone who needs help with their ears, nose, and/or throat that goes anywhere else is missing the Best.

I was referred to see this doctor by Dr. Claussman in Claremore on 6/7/13, and after waiting three weeks with no response from anyone I called Dr. Welches office to find out what was going on only to be treated so rudely by the office assistant there that I will NEVER go there or recommend their office to anyone. I obviously had distress in my voice due to extreme pain in my neck from a hematoma. I am just a patient in pain, playing the waiting game and hearing he-said, she said responses from both of the doctors offices. Due to this distress & pain in my voice, as I'm sure anyone who has gone through this would have, the receptionist named Kim thought she had the right to give me a huge attitude and tell me that "if I needed to get in sooner that I should really go somewhere else". She did not tell me when they received the referral, all she said was it was sitting on their doctors desk to be reviewed, to me that meant it had been sitting there since the 7th since the referring doctors office had told me that's when they sent it. I'm sure I'm not the first patient to be treated like this and I won't be the last. If you would like to be treated with respect from everyone at a doctors office, especially when you are in pain and needing help, then I would definitely go somewhere else. Take the short drive to Tulsa where you can really be taken care of.
