DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I am a 15 yr old. we drive for an hour to come here cause of my follicular lymphoma and foraker was recommended to us. He takes absolute hours upon hours to call you in takes hours to talk to you and repeats the same thing every appointment. also i asked for new lenses on my glasses he said alright and proceeded to say i have 20/20 vision when i am very very near sided and could barely read the letters on the slide even when they were big. I've been a patient for a lil over 2 yrs now. Let me just say sure sometimes the wait is long, and sure they have their office issues but Dr.fourackre helped save my eyesight and form a plan for me. Before visiting Dr fourackre I spent a ton on glasses because it seemed like they kept changing, I wasn't driving at night, I couldn't see very far and my eyes were sensitive in the daylight pretty badly. I didn't pass my drivers license eye exam also. I thought I needed surgery for intacts or a transplant. Dr forakre told me that scelerals would be best and if they didn't help then we could do the intacts. Him and Bloomingdale eye care have given me my eyes back I couldn't be more grateful to them. On top of it if I'm ever running late or need to step away for 10/15 minutes to get food for myself and my kids he's totally accommodates it and still sees me for an appointment with my kids in the room. He's kind and thorough and spends the time that's needed whether that's 15 minutes or 30 depending on the visit and the situation. Horrible service would not suggest this place at all. How can u run an office with no securtary. The Dr is really f.... Rude

Stay away from this place! We went because nothing else was available and paid the price.... I am fighting a bill I already paid, their scheduling and billing is a joke! All pen and paper basically, dr looking for paper files in his car. Extremely unorganized chaos and no help!

This doctor is a great ophthalmologist, but the office staff is horrible, I’ve been trying to make an appointment for several weeks, three weeks to be exact! I get placed on hold, told that they will call me back etc etc! Still no appointment!

I’m tired of the situation. I don’t know who’s fault is it but I can’t do it no more. I’m here right now, my grandfather’s appointment was at 1:30pm and we got here 15 min early just in case. However, is currently 3:30pm and I’m still here waiting for them to call him in. In addition, when they call you in you go to another waiting room or they sit you in a room to wait for the doctor. Their excuse is that the doctor is “behind schedule”. I just can’t believe that the doctor y behind schedule everyday. Anyways, I really feel bad for the old people that have to be waiting a long time to see the doctor. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the doctor or the staff are bad, I’m just saying they need to work on getting the patients in and out in time. I’m tired of the situation. I’m very sorry about the bad experiences most complain about. I do only have one thing to say. Dr. Fouracker is the reason. IM NOT BLIND!!!

Me.fouraker is a phenomenal Doctor. Thorough and complete, I look forward to fixing my eyes with you!

I have been a patient for 7 years and the Dr. is outstanding caring for my corneal transplants. He is thorough and empathetic. If patients are worried about waiting, maybe they should go somewhere else

I think it's too much. It's basically three hours before I can see the doctor always.

I spent approx 14 years seeing Dr. Fouraker. The office staff is extremely good, always friendly, and are ‘Saints’ to work with HIM! Dr. Fouraker needs a wake-up reality check. He is known as “Four-hour-aker”! That name isn’t a joke, it’s real. You will wait 3 to 4 hours to see him for approx 10 minutes, at the most. On top of that, he’ll have you come in a minimum of once a week, if not twice a week. All that, and he’ll most likely not correct your problem. In the last 8 years I went to him he kept postponing doing a triple surgery, I.e., remove my cataract, insert a lense and perform a cornea transplant. His excuse, I always had an infection, meanwhile he let my cataract get so thick I lost all vision in my eye. But during the 8 years, the Fouraker charges to me continued with no improvement to my vision. My new doctor did the triple eye surgery and I now have my vision restored. The owner of Brandon Eye Clinic, now called Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute, should seriously consider their relationship with Dr. Fouraker as his ego is greater than his apparent ability. I was disappointed. I had made an appointment for my 1-1/2month old son for an issue with his eye, we were in at 3:30 and didn’t see the Dr. until after 5pm, then when we finally saw Fouraker, he seemed very rushed, was rough with my son’s face and when gave me a prescription, never even wrote my son’s name on it and I couldn’t get my son’s prescription. Partially my fault for not reading the prescription beforehand, but for a doctor that is supposed to help my son, he wasn’t very thorough.Won’t be going here again. I was disappointed. My Son, 3 years old, has cornea issue with infection due to scratching. The Opthalmologist we went to referred to Dr. Fouraker. Dr. Fouraker did a fabulous job on my son's eye surgery and saved his eye and vision. Dr. Fouraker is very knowledgeable, skilled and comes with a great heart! He explained everything patiently and helped my son with his surgery and treatment. He took utmost care in follow up visits, medications to make sure he is recovering correctly. Greatest Doctor we have ever met.

Go to Dr. Fouracre if you like waiting in the waiting room 3 hrs before seeing him..every visit he would ask me the same questions...dont they write these things down?? Really, the worst part is they dont care that you are waiting hours to see a dr.

I understand the care given by the physicians and nurses at this clinic are exceptional, but their office manager needs to get the boot! I've never seen a doctor's office that will give you an appointment time and not take you back until 2 or 3 hours after your appointed time!
