Dr. Brent Lee Florine

My son had an exceptional experience getting his wisdom teeth out. Dr. Florine spent plenty of time with us -- explaining the procedure, answering our questions, etc. I very much appreciated his thorough explanation of pain management. My son healed quickly and well, thanks to the expertise and care of Dr. Florine and his staff.

He should have his license revoked. I paid extra for sedation but was awake and could feel the entire procedure. The stress enduced a seizure which him and his medical staff must have no training because during my postdictal state they were just yelling at me to get up. Shoulder blade is extremely bruised now from the doctor inflicting pain while coming out to the seizure which tells me he doesn't know any other way on checking patient consciousness like sternum rubs or mandable thrusts. As of this writing, there's only three 5 star reviews on Google. If you check the medical website reviews where there are dozens listed, he ranks below 2.5 average. Don't just rely on Google. I am on a lot of different antibiotics where OTC pain meds are not be to be mixed with them, as well as an aspirin allergy. I asked him what I can be taking and what he can prescribe and he recommended I use an old medication of mine that is not FDA approved for use in the United States. Will also be reporting him to the state. And disputing the charge.

Dr. Florine was able to fit me in with very short notice as I was in pain. He was quick and painless; highly recommend.

I am writing this review from my hospital bed urging you to please, please choose another surgeon, especially if you have anxiety. I had my two lower wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Florine.l I started feeling intense throbbing pains and swelling after surgery. Absolutely horrific. Screaming and crying from the pain. I couldn’t eat, chew, sleep, or move my jaw. After four visits he said it should go away in a few weeks. Finally after almost two weeks of constant pain, worse than childbirth ( I just had a baby five weeks ago) I went to the ER. They confirmed I had a huge abscess and needed emergency surgery. I will be here three days tomorrow recovering and could’ve avoided this or been pain free weeks sooner had Dr. Florine not brushed my pain and experiences aside. There are so many other stories like this online, please read the reviews and choose someone else for your surgery needs.

They gave me more anesthesia and when I woke up after it was all over, he and his nurse told me I was just loopy. They placed me in a waiting room where I texted my husband to ask him to come sit with me as I was terrified of what I had just experienced. The nurse came in and scolded me for being on my phone saying that wasn’t allowed. The following days were very painful. Please note that he will not prescribe anything other than Tylenol and ibuprofen and… meditation. Even if you have an infection. Not sure how mediation is supposed to fix a bacterial infection. I kept calling and going in as I felt like something was wrong, he continued to brush me aside. I couldn’t eat, chew, sleep, or move my jaw. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Florine. He is excellent! I've had 2 teeth removed and an implant - minimal pain. He is thorough, and knowledgeble, truly the best!!

I'm 68 and have been suffering bone loss for years. I was told the chances for successful bone graft and dental implant were poor and that I should consider dentures. As almost a last resort, i was referred to Dr. Florine. After the examination, he thought there was a reasonable chance for success. He and his very capable staff walked me through the entire process. The procedure went just as it was explained. Today I have new crown that looks great. My referring dentist told me he was surprised how good it looked. I don't have to cover my mouth anymore when I laugh or smile. I would recommend Dr. Florine enthusiastically to anyone who is in need of oral care Rick Bartusch

Dr. Flourine, and his team, were professional, very thorough (I had 101+ questions), yet most importantly they treated my 2 children having their wisdom teeth removed - incredibly kindly and gently. A+ experience. If you are a choosy consumer, you will be well satisfied!!

My 86 year old mother needed a tooth extracted ASAP, she was able to get in same day. She was nervous, but Dr. Florine’s staff was kind and calming. He was also very comfortable to talk to, he answered all our questions. The whole procedure was quick and she had minimal discomfort. I would recommend Dr Florine to anyone in need of oral surgery! Again the staff was amazing as well as Dr Florine

If you go here, good luck. My face is numb and has been for over a month, he perforated my sinus and wouldn’t fix it or do a CT and left my sinusitis (caused from tooth extraction/perforation) untreated which can lead to a brain abscess. I’ve never had issues with my sinus and he refused to think he did it. He never apologized or helped me. Just butchered me. He even left a scar under my lip then denied doing it then discharged me as a patient without speaking to me. Once again, if you go here, good luck. He also lied to the pharmacist about prescribing me the same antibiotic for 30 days. Untreated sinusitis leads many things such as organ failure and he purposely didn’t help me when I asked for a diff antibiotic then lied about it. Crazy

Very aggressive and harsh. Impersonal. Didn’t cover aftercare just sent me away. Did not feel safe at all.

I had two wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. I had 4 follow ups with Dr Florine and have now gone to a different surgeon to solve the problem. He is not kind and not helpful.

Beware! He cracked a healthy tooth while he was working on my mouth. It cost me hundreds to repair at my local dentist. Dr. Florine said he would deduct the amount to fix my tooth only if I went to him in the future for an implant I needed, to the cost of $2,500! I refused this "generous" offer. for fear of another horrible experience.

Dr Florine provided me excellent dental care on 3 implants. Dr Florine has a calm, humble, engaged communication style that creates an inviting, safe atmosphere to ask questions. He patiently answers every question to the level of detail I request. Most importantly, he takes great care in making sure the dental work is done at a high level of quality. I highly recommend him as an Oral Surgeon.

dr Florine seem to know what he is doing and he seem very knowledgeable about the subject. I do agreed that he seem to do the work very fast and seem pretty harsh. I was pretty scared. But maybe that just his style. He check with me a couple of time to see if I'm ok and am I numb enough? He even suggest what medications is best for me and I'm surprised to receive a phone call from him to check to see how I'm doing. The place was nice ,and easy to schedule the appointment. love the staff .

Staff did their job but the environment was not very warm or customer friendly. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction and was a bit nervous but felt like my experience was somewhat robotic. Front desk staff didn't not have much emotion. The dentist is not very personable. However, the dental assistant was comforting. Procedure was fine, no complaints there but I think the overall experience would be better with improved customer service.

This Morning I had a procedure done at Dr. Florine's office. I can't say enough good things about his professionalism and integrity. I will recommend Dr. Florine to my family and friends.

My experience with sedation at this office was great. It was a last minute appointment and they got me in same day. Dr Florine seemed very nice. He worked quickly. Recovery after sedation has been GREAT! I filled the prescription he gave and I have only needed one so far. Its been at least 24 hours since. He called me personally after surgery to check in and was happy to answer any questions.

Dr. Florine took the time to listen to, and answer, all of my questions. He went over the treatment plan with me and explained it well. I feel very comfortable moving forward and understand what to expect for the future. He extracted #19 (a molar) and placed a bone graft. He placed novocaine so well I felt just a tingle, that was it. More importantly, he completed the extraction/bone graft with NO PAIN! I am so happy I went to Dr. Florine and would highly recommend him.
