About Dr. Brian Craig Rodgers
Reviews for Dr. Brian Craig Rodgers
Doc Rodge is a legend in the ENT game. Handles like Luka, fadeaway like Dirk, passes like Stockton, rains 3's like Mullin. This man is a straight dog with them ears, noses, and throats. You got a problem? This man will stomp it out like Emmitt Smith stomping through the New York Football Giants. I pity the fool who follows their nose elsewhere.
Dr. Rodgers is really amazing, skillful and intelligent doctor. He took time to explain me about the stapedectomy surgery, options and answered all my questions with patience. He really understood my concerns and helped me. I had surgery 2 years back and my hearing has improved significantly as doctor indicated it would. The surgery and recovery was successful and everything went smoothly as Dr Rodgers was there throughout the process, his office regularly followed up with me. The office staff and nurses are great and were flexible to accommodate to my schedule.
The doctor is really professional, the surgery has been as he describe so far. Great service before and post-operatory. No pressure, he described the service step by step.
Very detailed. Explains issues very well. Nice manors and approach.
Professional, knowledgeable and caring.
Dr Rodgers was wonderful from the start.
Excellent
Dr. Rodgers repaired my daughter’s ear drum. He is an excellent physician.
He was very kind and thorough
The visit was to check my hearing now that I have hearing aids.
Dr Rodgers has always answered all my concerns and has spent adequate time with me on my visits I highly recommend him
Dr. Rodger is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to the patients need. The clinic staff is also very helpful. Thanks for taking care of my child.
I was having fluctuating hearing , dizziness, vertigo, and what I call "dead ear" when I could hear very little from my right ear. It bothers me for about 2 years. I went to Dr Rogers who diagnosed me with Meniers disease. He explained it to me and said it could be treated. He gave me a shot of cortisone through my eardrum--not bad, and it stopped all the problems I was having with the dizziness, vertigo and hearing loss. It is like my hearing has returned to normal!!! I am so-o-o-o thankful for the cortisone! That was 3 months ago and I can still hear fairly well from my right ear. The treatment was like a Miracle! I was truly amazed by the quality of care that Dr. Brian Rodgers, his audiologist Leah Margaret Strope, and the rest of the staff at Dallas Ear Institute provided me. I can honestly say that I've never had such a positive experience before at any other hospital or medical establishment. I called them in the morning after experiencing a sudden loss of hearing, and they were kind enough to fit me in on an urgent basis that very same morning. When I got there, they listened to me as I explained what had happened, they carefully reviewed my situation, physically examined me, found the problem & were able to fix it, allowing a 100% recovery of my hearing. And it wasn't just the deep expertise of Dr. Rodgers and the audiologists that impressed me so much, it was the entire staff, even the initial person who took my call. Just incredibly kind, compassionate, understanding and eager to help. Absolute top of the line treatment, the best healthcare you will find anywhere. Dr. Rodgers did an amazing job with my daughters ear surgery. He was always kind and patient and did everything to keep a 5 year old calm and comfortable. The office is nice and ran on a timely schedule.
While he was the only person to be able to diagnose my 13yo daughters unusual and difficult issue, he did not take the time to provide answers or hope. He was terrible. He is Uneducated in her diagnosis, as I later found out. He blamed too much of her issue on her anxiety. He told us stories about people with her condition who haven't left the house in 6 months. He told he didn't want to write a letter asking for accommodations at school because he didn't think they would come through with them anyway. Besides the diagnosis, all around terrible. See someone else in this practice.

I am glad I picked Dr. Brian for my ear care! He listened to my problem and gave time to look through the images that I took with me! I have visited him a couple of times and my ear is getting better already!!
I am blessed and will always be grateful to Dr. Rodgers and his team. After 52 years of single-sided deafness, I hear again in my left ear through an Osia implant system. It is a pleasure to have him as my physician, as well as my audiologist Dr. Lydia Romanovich, and the entire team at Dallas Ear Institute. Thank you!
I had a big hole in ear drum and got ear infections constantly. My ENT Doctor recommended Dr. Rogers . He did Tympanoplasty and Mastoidectimy surgery for me in September and I got recovered in a month. My hearing has improved a lot. He did a very good job and answered all my questions patiently. Great customer service which includes listening to the patient’s concerns and addressing those clearly and completely. Friendly and professional. Highly recommend Dr. Rodgers.
I am very grateful for Dr Rodgers. A cholesteatoma is not something I would wish on anybody, but Dr Rodgers spent a lot of time explaining my options and allowed me to make an informed decision for treatment. In the end I have had optimal results given the circumstances and feel I can continue to trust him through my maintenance.
At my very first visit with Dr. Rodgers I was diagnosed with otosclerosis. I was 55% deaf in both ears at 31 years old. The only options were surgery or hearing aids. Although I was very nervous, we discussed both options thoroughly and together we determined surgery was my best chance at hearing again. Needless to say, the first surgery to my right ear changed my life! I could hear things that I was not able to before. People could now have discussions with me without having to yell or repeat themselves several times. It was truly life changing! I am so happy that I went through with the surgeries. After the surgery I was at 90% hearing, which is an excellent result. I am so happy and would have the surgery ten times over if it meant getting to the results I have today. Excellent Doc
You and your office are always friendly and caring and genuinely care about your patients-
I met with Dr Brian Rodgers on a referral from another audiologist wanting a medical clearance before proceeding with hearing aids. After reviewing my records, discussing my medical history and examining me he provided the clearance. He was friendly, professional, thorough and answered my questions.

Excellent!!!
Professional, friendly service.
Everyone was very nice and helpful
Great experience: prompt, friendly, efficient and caring.
I received excellent care with Dr. Rogers. I had a stapedectomy with great results. I’m very pleased and would recommend Dallas Ear Institute to family and friends.
Dr. Rodgers was extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. He was very attentive to my specific needs/hearing issue. I would definitely recommend seeing him for your ENT needs.
Dr. Rodgers was very professional and truly was concerned about my hearing issues. He has an excellent bed side manner and I would recommend him to anyone needing his services.
Dr. Rodgers is great! He always listens to all my questions & concerns about my disorder. He does an excellent job at putting me at ease. He’s compassionate & kind! He’s the best ear doctor I’ve ever had. I don’t want anyone else. The office staff is good too!!
Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life! I have an unusual and uncommon issue affecting my left ear that I have been affected by on and off since 2015. The original doctor that I was referred to could not see me and instead it was Dr. Rodgers in the same office (Dallas Ear Institute) that I had the appointment with. In order to save him time, I wrote a detailed one page overview that covered everything since 2015. He came into the office and asked me what my issue was. I handed him the paper so that he could read it. He glanced at it for no more than 10 seconds, put it aside and once again asked me what the issue was. I told him that if he took three minutes to read my comprehensive review, he would fully understand the issue. He got up in a huff and stormed out the door telling me: "I shall go out and read it and come back". He came back five minutes later and by his comments, it was clear that he finally read it. He expressed his opinion and suggested that I take a prescription that should help with the issues. I told him that I would do so, and in turn he told me that he will write a prescription and someone will bring it to me in a few minutes. He left, and a nice lady came in and told me that the prescription was being sent to Walgreens and they will contact me and ship it to me. I asked why I could not just pick it up at my neighborhood Walgreens? She said that it is a medication that has to be compounded in downtown Dallas and would save me a long trip to pick it up (I live in Aubrey). I said fine, thank you, and went home. I looked up the medication on line and to my shock found out that this medication, Betahistine, was revoked by the FDA in 1975 because of insufficient evidence of any beneficial efficacy result and it is not authorized to be sold in the U.S. I find it shocking that Dr. Rodgers would prescribe this medication that had to be compounded to get around the FDA ruling, without informing me that this medication was not authorized for use in the U.S. - so that I could make my own decision one way or another. Needless to say, I never picked up the medication. Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life! Great experience at the Dallas Ear Institute with Dr. Rodgers and Audiologist Mary Katherine. Both very professional and very informative.
Dr Rodgers was excellent. He listened and explained topics very well. I would definitely recommend Dr Rodgers.
I love doctor Rodgers so much. I have been suffering pain in my left ear for years and this man’s hands worked magic. I highly recommend him.
I went thru 3 doctors until I found Dr. Rogers. I have Meinere’s. I won’t bore you with details, but if you have ANY issues concerning your hearing, etc, please call his office. They are absolutely the best. period.
Dr. Rodgers was so calm and helpful explaining everything and answering my questions. When you have to deal with health issues, it is so nice to have a friendly and helpful doctor on your side. Thank you!
Dr. rogers successfully removed a baseball sized acoustic neuron from my father in law’s brain. This was my father in law’s second surgery for the same tumor. The first was a failed surgery done in another city. The recovery has been so smooth and easy. Dr. Rogers was very attentive to him as a patient and answered all questions by our family. I experienced a very sudden and disturbing balance issue about three years ago. After the ER ruled out the obvious causes I found Dr. Rodgers. After thorough testing he arrived at a diagnosis and suggested treatment. It was a great relief to find a physician I could trust and whose advice was spot on. I had my first visit with Dr. Rodgers today and he was absolutely terrific. Very caring, very knowledgable, very direct and honest, very reassuring, and took his time with me to make sure all of my questions were answered. Glad to have Dr. Rodgers taking care of me. Also, his staff were all very nice.
Dr. Rodgers is a fantastic physician. He was patient and personable as he explained my condition and the surgery required. The surgery to remove cholesteatoma from my ear was a success, and my hearing improved, also. I highly recommend Dr. Rodgers.
Dr Rogers has from the first time I met him, been up front and open about what “we” can do. My role, his role, and the goal to try and accomplish. I am 65, and have had this ear drum problem since age 5 or 6, Never found what I thought was a competent enough Dr to do such a delicate surgery until I met Dr Rogers. He told me he could stop the constant infections in the middle ear because water and air could get through the punctured ear drum. He told me he MIGHT be able to increase the hearing capabilities, but that would just be an added benefit.. Then he told me how he was going to do it. (Make the sausage) Once he did that, and I understood ALL of it. I was ALL IN!!! He did what he said, and YES, I got the added benefit of better hearing!! About 5 weeks after surgery I went back for a final look/see from Dr Rogers. He said I could discontinue some after care routines and get on carefree. A couple day later an issues arose and I uses the APP that they had supplied, and is was not 20 minutes from the time I pushed send, that Dr Rogers himself called me and we discussed the issue and he made arrangements for me to come in and get it taken care of. When was the last time YOUR Dr called you on the phone themselves, and you did not wait all day for it. I am giving him ALL FIVE STARS because he and his staff has EARNED them. Thank You, Dr Rogers and Please Thank your Staff for me. Dr Rogers has from the first time I met him, been up front and open about what “we” can do.
