Dr. Bruce Benjamin Snider

Dr. Snider is a wonderful doctor! We chose him because he knows the NaPro technologies fertility care system that we use, but we have been very pleased thus far through our pregnancy and a miscarriage. He is very gentle and kind. *we have not yet gone through the birth. We have quite a few friends who have recommended him from that standpoint.

Dr. Snider essentially helped saved my life with his willingness to perform a hysterectomy procedure on me due to severe endometriosis. He is a fantastic doctor and a wonderful human being, and I can never thank him enough for what’s he’s done for me as well as a family member who has had her children delivered by him. ❤️❤️❤️

I would give zero stars if it was an option. Dr Snider performed a blind biopsy without meds. I have since read this was an option. He made a remark that some women scream a lot after he was finished. I felt like cattle. There was no sonogram performed and there should have been.. Do yourself a favor and seek another doctor.

His bed side manner is awful and he doesn't care about his patients.

He does not listen to his patients and does not care about his patients. I thought I lost my baby and was crying and he told me "I hope you stop crying soon."

Dr. Snider is the best! He was a referral from several friends and friends of friends and did not disappoint. Not only did he help resolve the issue that was preventing us from conceiving for several years but my entire pregnancy he was very respectful and extremely knowledgeable from years of experience. I would say he’s pretty laid back, which I love, and not set in his ways. He respects my decisions but also provides his valuable input when requested or necessary. We are very thankful we entrusted him with our most treasured blessing and hope to have him deliver our next baby as well. Dr. Snider is the best! I had a scheduled induction with my baby. My nurse warned me that my OB would push me to break my water as soon as he came in. We literally rehersed what I was going to say with the nurse and hubby. So when he came in I said, "I don't want my water broken unless I am dialated to 5 and if her head is low." I have a lot of water and the risk of a cord prolapse is greater with that when you rupture membranes. He said, "ok." He checked me. Hands still in me he grabs the hook and says nothing. As he puts it in I timidly I say, "wait...what am I dialated to?" He said "1-2". And broke it. He deliberately ignored my wishes. Nurse stood there with her jaw literally dropped. I was frozen. This could have VERY quickly ended in a csection for various reasons. Looking back I wish I kicked him straight in the face to make him stop. We had said we wanted delayed cord clamping (not to cut the cord until it stopped pulsing.) He tried to cut it immediately. My husband had to physically cover the cord with his hands and tell the OB no. He rolled his eyes. This was not an emergency situation. He just wanted to go home. He seemed great and supportitive though out my pregnancy up until about 37 weeks when I had to demand to talk to him on the phone about the induction. It was the end of the week and he was going to make me wait until monday to ask questions. He wanted to induce Monday. I will never go back. I had a scheduled induction with my baby. I recently suffered a miscarriage and saw several different medical professionals during the process - lab techs, endocrinologist, midwives, OBs, nurses and radiology techs. Dr. Snider was by far the most compassionate professional I met. He offered genuine sympathy and spent extra time answering all of my questions. He also gave me his cell number just in case I needed to talk through my options again. I can’t recommend Dr. Snider enough. I so appreciate being treated like a person with feelings rather than a case study. Dr Snider has been my ob/gym since moving here from Colorado in 2005. Wish he had been my doc there. He LISTENS & makes sure you understand everything so that you can trust you are making the best-informed decision you can. My wife went in to get her nexaplon removed, she was told it would be 225, she paid the 225 at the time of the visit. A month and a half later we get another bill for the remaining balance of of 195 dollars. So this went from 225 to 420 dollar office visit. It’s a scam, dishonest and a joke honestly. Go anywhere else other then here.

Very disappointing experience. If you are looking for someone who respects your time (without multiple calls to reschedule your apppintments), he's probably not your guy. If you're looking for someone who is supportive of an unmedicated birth, again, he's probably not your guy. These are my experiences, and I hate to leave a negative review, but I was very disappointed in his care during the duration of my pregnancy and the birth of my second child, for multiple reasons. Dr Snider has delivered our 4 children and we consider him a family friend now! His office is the most professionally run medical office we have ever visited. And Olathe Medical is a great facility to use as well! Highly recommend!

Automated phone system is bad. If staff is on vacation, you just have to wait until they get back to schedule surgery. Staff attitude is awful. If you request a doctor to call, they just tell you to schedule and appt., even if you've been in recently for the same condition. When you request medical records, they don't send them promptly, if at all. Dr. Snider is great but he needs to clean house. Automated phone system is bad. I going to Dr. Snider for over 14 years. With all my women's issues , Doctor with his staff always help with solutions and treatment .Very knowledgeable and intelligent men, who build around himself group of professional and caring people. One fact about Doctor Snider - his assistant ,more that lovely women , Barb, with wide spectrum of skills , works with Doctor over 20 years . This is more that describes-what kind if Doctor Snider is . I recommended Doctor B.Snider to my daughter, and friends.

Doctor Snider was the on call doctor when I went into labor with my son! He was so wonderful, and I would recommend him to everyone! Very nice man! If I have more children I will go to him for sure!
