Oh my goodness, Iwould have given a 0 but the app only lets me select a 1. Found out today when I called to make an appointment with my primary doctor (Nizel or Gillespie-Gebhards) that becaue I have not been in since before the pandemic that I am a new patient and Sally on reception even offered me names of other physicians. Appalling since I am now experiencing some severe pains and can't go to the place that has my med history. Nitzel is also not very punctual, always making his patients wait. Dr. Nitzel is fabulous , he takes the time to really get to what is going on, with his patients. I know the wait can be alittle long, but it’s well worth it. He does it the way it should be done, I feel anyway. You can find a lot of Drs. That your in and out with anywhere, and if you don’t like the wait then move on. Dr. Nitzel cares and I appreciate that. Thank you for caring for my 16 year old daughter. Dr. Nitzel is fabulous , he takes the time to really get to what is going on, with his patients. Unprofessional! Would you make a guest wait 2 hours? Others are thorough without the callous wait. Go see anyone else.

The wait is so long, but Dr. Nitzell himself is good, it's the wait that kills you plan on taking 2 /1/2 hours out of your schedule. For 1 appointment.

I give a 5 star rating because Dr. Nitzel is extremely thorough and has my best interest. I trust his decisions on my health. He has been my family doctor for many years. My husband was treated very well because of Dr. Nitzel. He helped us get home health at our house and helped my husband live a better life. I like that he is very thorough because it is my health at stake. He is also a very kind doctor to talk to about any problems or questions. He also speaks spanish which was a nice thing for my husband. I highly recommend him. Also, Sally and staff are very nice too. 45 minute wait in the waiting room. Another 45 minutes in the exam room with no sign of the doc. I walked out and asked receptionist if 2 hours was really the typical wait time, she said yes. I suggested maybe spacing appointments out a bit more. She stated they have tried that in the past... I just walked out. Complete waste of time...

is the wait long to see him ? sure...however, Dr Nitzel NEVER rushes a patient out. He takes time with his patients. This office and Dr Nitzel are amazing and they go above and beyond to help their patients in any way they can!!

An incredible physician. He cares for his patients and is worth the wait. The wait is only due the the time that each patient needs. Dr. Nitzel is fabulous. He cares for many people with complicated medical histories. He remembers his patients and treats for long term - not the emergency of today. Because of this, there can be a long wait. But when he treats your family member, you know that it was worth the wait. HOWEVER, better nurses would make Dr. Nitzel's day smoother. Keep me waiting for two hours over the last two days. When I mentioned it and said his reviews said the same thing. He didn't care. He said " There's other Doctors ". Guess I'll start looking .

Elderly mom was in the office and exam room for almost 2 hours today, finally just left the office. Clearly no respect for patient's time.

Don’t waste your time even trying to come see him. Our appointment was at 3pm and at 3:30 after several people after me went back I asked up front how much longer and I was told he was finishing up his 1:30 appointment and still had one appointment before me. That’s ridiculous. It was going to be another hour to an hour an a half before we would even go back so we left. And he is ALWAYS LATE like this everyone said. Was looking for a new pcp for my son... but waiting OVER 2 hours to see Dr Nitzel is absolutely rediculous!! We sat in the waiting room for 45 min... then in the exam room for almost 1.5 hours. I am all for taking time with patients... but I never EVER have waited that long to see anyone. Not even an OB doc. I finally gave up and we walked out without seeing him. I will NEVER go back. He needs to make FEWER appts in the day if he spends hours with each one. NO DOCTOR is worth THAT kind of wait. Actually took time to figure out what was going on with me. I didn't have to wait long. Just make sure you give yourself time to with the doctor, he actually cares, some just rush you out and tell you nothing's wrong.

He is well worth the wait! I went through 5 doctors before I found one that actually genuinely cared for the kids and took his time , even if it went over the allotted time. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DOCTOR, WOULD RECCOMEND TO EVERYBODY!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Nitzel's for years and he often runs a bit behind schedule. But, he also spends as much as is necessary each time I visit to make sure all my concerns are looked at. If you are looking for a minute-clinic type evaluation, then you will be frustrated. Love this doctor. But i give a bad rating because the wait is always at least an hour!!! It gets really ridiculous!

We have been with Dr Nitzel for 5 years. Each visit, he takes the time to interact with my kiddos and explain and discuss what's going on. I never feel rushed when asking him questions. Sometimes, our appointment might not be right on time, but that's because he's doing the same with his other patients!
