Over the course of 2 years & many appointments I only rescheduled 3 times. Was called to come in for a 2nd follow up today. attitude from the wife. (Usually hit or miss on that one). Totally taken aback when dr Tarr sarcastically said “thanks for making it in today, as there have been many times you haven’t. I am hesitant to do any further procedures & it’s actually borderline rude”. EXCUSE ME! What you just said, completely unprofessional, rude & unnecessary! Not like I no called no showed & the rescheduling was 4 very legitimate reasons. At the end of the day it’s my toe & I’m glad you let me know you are hesitant to treat me bc now you have one less patient. Not that you care, obviously. No love lost from this side either. Great at what he does however I deal with rude people all day everyday. Don’t need it from a medical “professional” that I PAY! Funny how when they needed to reschedule me to accommodate them I did it with zero complaint. Guess that door doesn’t swing both ways

Had an ingrown toenail that was getting worse and looked for a Podiatrist that could see me that day, as I had a weekday off. Call Dr. Tarr's office, told them the discomfort I was in and they were able to squeeze me in later that day. Dr. Tarr gave me 2 options...after a quick deliberation, I opted to go with the more invasive procedure to get rid of this nuisance once and for all. I left there without having any pain. I had 2 follow-up appointments. It is healing nicely and with no complications! I am happy to report that I am back into a closed-toe shoe in only a month after this procedure. I saw Dr. Tarr for what I thought was a painful callus on the sole of my left foot but turned out to be a Planter wart. The first appointment was fine. The second appointment was this past Monday and he used a scalpel to cut deeply into healthy skin and tissue around the wart. He offered no explanation as to what he was doing and why he was doing it. I walked out of his office limping and in severe pain, which I had not experienced prior to that visit. I could not put any weight on my left foot. On Wednesday the pain was still severe and I could not walk without limping. I went to a walk in clinic and they advised me to go to the ER or call my PCP. I called my PCP and they referred me to another podiatrist. I saw him yesterday and he was communicative, caring and compassionate. Needless to say, he is my new podiatrist. The two women who work at Sudbury Podiatry were rude, unprofessional and totally indifferent to me, both as a patient and a person. Additionally, the printed instructions that were handed to me had the name of another patient on them who is also being treated for a Plantar wart. This is a violation of the HIPPA Privacy Rule. Had a ingrown toenail and infection over the weekend, Kathy called me on Monday morning to help me get a same day appointment, she is very kind and friendly. Dr Tarr fixed my toenail without any pain. I was very worried about this little surgery, but Dr. Tarr is so good at it, the only slightly discomfort, if I have to pick any, is anaesthesia, which is understandable and manageable. The surgery only took less than 2 minutes. I was thoroughly instructed on aftercare. I highly recommend Dr. Tarr for any podiatry related problem. Excellent, friendly service. They saw me as soon as the office opened, after a weekend injury. They made everything so simple, x-ray & treatment plan all done at the office (no need for the ER). Dr Tarr and Kathy took great care of me.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Tarr’s for several years and always appreciated the excellent care and friendly, reassuring environment that he and his staff create. They are all delightful. Today, though, I want to thank him for a really important catch. During my exam Dr Tarr was checking my reflexes when I told him my left leg really hurt when he touched it. He examined me closely and said that he wanted to refer me to Emerson Hospital for an ultrasound to rule out a DVT.. a deep vein thrombosis. Now here it’s important to note that literally the day before, I’d mentioned that my leg hurt to my cardiologist, who after examining me decided it was likely nerve related (I’d been in a car accident the month before). I listened to Dr Tarr and his staff got me in for an ultrasound that same afternoon. The outcome? A DVT. Dr Tarr’s catch may literally have saved me from a pulmonary embolism. I had them years ago and believe me, it is not something I want to repeat. Because of his insistence I started drug therapy that same afternoon. Side Note: I also still have confidence in my cardiologist. This was a good reminder to me that our doctors are people just like us, and they aren’t perfect either, but instead professionals doing the best they can. Thank you Dr Tarr! Excellent overall experience, they make you feel completely cared for and are more then accommodating to fit you in when injury occurs. Highly recommend this local doctor and his staff, all are wonderful.

Well today I had an 8:30 appointment with Dr. Bryant Tarr, DPM. Showing up at 8:10 I waited in the car and was a bit surprised to see the Dr. coming out to wash the window to his office in a lower end strip mall – older non-improved here in Westford. Waiting until 8:20 I entered the office and was met by two individuals – one somewhat pleasant receptionist and Dr. Tarr’s wife. It took a while for either of them to look up to acknowledge a patient. After the wait and giving my name and being told to sit over there – no one else was in the office, but ok. Before that I wanted to bring up some administrative issues. I received two emails to confirm the apparent and two phone calls the last one the night before after 8:00 PM. I kindly asked if I could receive only one method of reminder. Well that is when his wife stated, that is the way our system works and we can’t change it for one person. I then explained again that getting phone calls after 8:00 PM for appointment reminders should not be the norm. Well that is when his wife went from snarky to rude. That’s they way it is, we can’t change it for you, who do you think you are telling us…….. Well, that was it. I left on the way out I explained to the doctor to ask his wife why he did not have an 8:30 appointment and he said…he could get a new wife…less than surprised. I suffered from sporadic cramping in my left foot. Dr. Tarr was very kind and thorough in my examination. He made me a set of orthotics that not only helped with the pain in my foot but also have helped the the pain in my arthritic right knee. My son and I recently visited Dr. Tarr and I highly recommend. He was amazing with my 5 year old son who never felt any discomfort. Dr. Tarr is professional and thorough. Other things I enjoyed: great mobile and email reminders, evening Apts on Tuesday and very friendly staff!

Sudbury Podiatry is a very professional and welcoming practice. Dr. Tarr is a thorough, knowledgeable, empathetic caregiver. I wouldn't trust my mother's foot care to anyone else. We highly recommend.

Today i came in to see Dr.Tarr and he is so cool i liked how kind and gentle he was taking care of my ingrown toe nail i was very scared because i thought it was gonna hurt but he made it all better. Kathy was very kind and nice and very sweet defenetly recomend to anybody that has a problem on their feet. And i will be coming back to see them soon. Came in 20 minutes late because of traffic and I was afraid of being low-key judged and no, these people were all so wicked nice. The doctor was so professional and gentle, even though all I had was an ingrown nail. He definitely knew his stuff and I highly recommend him ! Feet medicine is great, thanks Doctor Tarr. ????

Thank God for Sudbury Podiatry and Dr. Tarr! They took me in right away, and the office staff couldn't have been kinder or friendlier. A pedicure gone wrong was fixed with no pain and careful attention. I was super anxious and they all had me laughing and ready to go in no time. They followed up with me to ensure I was taking care of myself and following the after care procedure. They also made sure that my prescription was ready at CVS for me before I left the office. Thanks to everyone for making me feel special and taking such great care of me. I had pain in my toe after a pedicure and the front desk was so pleasant and was able to get me an appointment within an hour to see the doctor. Everyone is so nice and understandable.
