Dr Matthew's did my surgery in 2013. Robotic. I was given about a year to live. Here almost 9 years later, I'm doing great and no signs of cancer for over 5 years. Dr Matthews is a great Oncologist! She is very personable and takes the time to listen to you and answer any questions or comments you may have. She made my procedure through chemo and radiation a lot easier mentally and physically.

Dr. Matthews is genuine and really cared about my health. She is extremely thorough and spent a significant time with me reviewing my medical history and guiding me through my treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone searching for a compassionate, caring, plain spoken gynecologic oncologist. She diagnosed my ovarian cancer in 2011 and has guided me through surgery, chemotherapy, participation in a clinical trial to a healthy, happy existence in 2021. Dr. Matthews is current on ovarian cancer research and shares her knowledge. Through her association with Dr. Weil, she has changed my idea of food and nutrition as medicine. I am thankful for her courteous efficiency and information she provides me in every visit. Dr. Matthews listens and adjusts in her examinations to ensure my comfort.

I feel I received the best care possible. Dr. Matthews explained everything to me thoroughly, called when she said she would, scheduled surgeries expeditiously, and is currently following up on a regular schedule. I consider her to be “the best.” I know she saved me. We are fortunate to have her coming to our town once a week to see patients.

Dr. Matthews is an AWESOME doctor! She is kind, compassionate, and caring. She is thorough in her findings and her expertise as a doctor, surgeon, and oncologist actually saved my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. Her staff is also wonderful, caring and amazing.

Yes, absolutely amazing doctor. From day one she was focused on getting me better and doing it the right way. I always feel that she cares, but is extremely direct in her treatments. The entire staff is a wonderful group of women-I haven’t interacted with anyone who wouldn’t meet Dr. Matthews high standards.

There was a short wait. Dr. Matthews was very helpful and efficient. She listened to me and I was comfortable during the whole visit.

Dr Matthews is a TOP NOTCH DR. She is knowledgeable, respectful, answers all questions, explains everything so I can understand. She is very professional, compassionate, caring and intelligent. She also has a TOP NOTCH STAFF. I am extremely impressed with Dr Matthews. I trust her very much

My first appointment, subsequent surgery and first follow up appointment were 5 star. Because I brought up medical information related to my current condition with which she did not agree in my 2nd follow up, I would give only 1 star. I have researched the info as well as discussed it with my OT. The doctor treated it with utter disdain. I know it is caused by her training not addressing my particular condition adequately enough.

Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Matthews. Her medical and surgical experise actually saved my life. I couldn't have chosen a better doctor.

Dr. Matthews is compassionate and balanced about her approach to treating her patients. She will treat with medication, but also knows more about the roll of nutrition in keeping you healthy and healing your body than any other doctor I've ever visited. She cares.

Dr. Matthews is a GREAT doctor she takes away all of your fears, she is so positive and such a beautiful person inside and out. Best doctor ever had for uterine cancer treatment.

I would not recommend this doctor. She has an arrogant edge & attempted to "put me in my place" when I asked questions. She also had a malpractice suit, which she refused to answer questions about, which directly impacts my comfort in trusting her.

She is personable and caring. Explains everything thoroughly and in a manner that is understandable. Also liked her staff, including her medical student, and nurse. Offers whatever support you need. She concurred with my local oncologist regarding my plan of treatment and even stated with my diagnosis of cervical cancer, she would have had the same plan for me. The only reason for 4 stars vs 5, was the long wait time. The Dr was kind enough to apologize for that.

She treated my Uterus cancer. She is very professional, compassionate, expert in her field. She has 25 years experience in Gynecological cancers.She takes interest in over all health of her patient. She do both Robotic surgery and chemotherapy if needed. Her staff is also good. I am lucky to have her In Dallas, Texas
