Dr. Shahryar Mafi

For over eight years now, Dr. Mafi has been my heart doctor. He listens well, and has genuine concern for my well-being. In my 70 years on the planet, it has been rare for me to find a doctor with whom I work so well. On top of that, with Dr. Mafi, I seldom find myself waiting for him in a crowded waiting room. He is a very good all-around person.

Very friendly and personable. Total professional !!!! I was at ease and comfortable with him the moment I met him. There is no doubt that he is intelligent and completely knows what he is doing. He's great.

Dr.mafi Was very though. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He is kind and very patient He took his time not rushing you as some doctors do. I would highly recommend Dr. Mafi to anyone looking for a great cardiologist.

Dr. Mafi thoroughly conducted heart tests to insure that an anomaly discovered on a recent EKG by my primary care physician was just an anomaly. He and his staff are very competent, reassuring, and patient.

I like him bcuz he takes his time with his patients..he doesn't rush us out but explains everything

Very knowledgeable and caring doctor. Very serious doctor. It is very difficult to get copies of ones medical records from him. He is an employee of Inova Fairfax Hospital and his staff say they have been to Inova Fairfax Hospital training and they are not allowed to give out medical records to patients. Instead, his staff requires one to fill out a form, which they fax to Inova hospital. My experience is it takes 15-30 days to get the records and they are usually not the ones I asked for.
