Dr. McKarnin is the best doctor I have been to. She is direct, knowledgeable, always prepared. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, ask questions and provides the BEST care me or my family has ever had! I moved to Seattle and still fly back to see her!

Dr. McKarnin has been terrific in being my medical quarterback through a rather odd set of medical circumstances. I so appreciate her. She has given me excellent advice, is well respected and always well prepared when we speak or meet.

I have been a patient of Dr.McKarnin for nearly 15 years and have never had a poor experience with her. She is absolutely the best at what she does.

Dr McKarnin is amazing. She is very personable and friendly. Helps reassure any concerns that I might have.

I concur with previous commenters: “Staff isn't willing to work with you even though we have been patients for years.” I had similar experiences. The receptionist are short and seem like they are doing patients a favor by finding an appointment. I rarely can get in to see my primary care provider. I showed up to discover that I did not have an appointment, the reluctant nurse met me and told me to go to urgent care - unwilling to help. Not what you want in an doctor’s office.

Best doctor you could ever have! I have been with her for several years and just love her. Dr. McKarnin is one of those few doctors that takes the time to listen to you and work with you. She also takes the time to explain to you what she thinks and the reasoning behind it. She makes me feel like an important person and not just some patient to get out the door. She saved my life by noticing I could be having heart problems; ended up with a triple bypass, two balloons and new heart valve, all prior to actually having a heart attack! Dr McKarnin is the best doctor around! I have been seeing her for over 10 years. She is a doctor you can talk to about literally ANYTHING! I appreciate that she is not ready to just write a prescription to treat a symptom, but rather willing to help me figure out how to solve my health problem. Dr. McKarnin is the best doctor I have ever had, which seems to be a theme among these reviews. That should tell you something. She doesn’t only treat symptoms, she tries to treat what’s causing them. I wish everyone in my family could have her as their doctor. I appreciate her medical knowledge and that if she doesn’t know much about one of my obscure and rare health issues she is willing to do some research. Thank you for being awesome! Trying to work with this practice has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. I had poor customer service in scheduling/rescheduling appointments, refilling prescriptions and doctor visits. One doctor repeatedly told me during a visit that, “It’s nasty in there” referring to my vagina when I had a vaginal yeast and bacteria infection. While she may have been correct, no woman should be told that her vagina is nasty. I highly recommend finding a better practice.

My kids love Dr. McKarnin! I can't enough good things about our visits with her. She is so friendly, easy to talk to, knowledgable, capable, personable, thorough, and spends a lot of time with us at every visit. We have been seeing her for many years, and even though she's moved a couple of times, we keep following wherever she goes (we would follow her anywhere). I have five children and out of all the doctors we've had through the years, she's the best! Would highly recc'd her!
